The hotel was terrible! Our room smelled awful, the TV didn't work, the AC was broken, the pillows smelled terrible, and the carpet was stained. The bathroom was the worst part. The light switch was dirty, stained, and rusted, the toilet seat and bathroom shower faucet was broken, and the towels also smelled. The walls were super thin as well. Sometimes we could hear the people next to us.
I DO NOT recommend this at all to anyone looking for a place to stay. It might've only been our room, but still, the condition was the worst I have ever lived in.

We will always check here first to stay. 79 bucks a night did us well for our week long vaca. Free bus shuttle to universal. They upgraded our room to a suite for free. Good food too.

Accommodations were acceptable, however there was a TON of noise coming from all directions. Also the shower was leaking loudly the entire 3 days. Staff was helpful, but these issues were beyond their scope unfortunately. I've stayed at other Floridian locations with much better experiences!

Service was good. Place was nice and clean. Location was great, 1 mile away from Universal studios. Free schuttle to and from Universal. Schuttle driver was a little rude but on time. Free breakfast, not too many options but fresh. Good coffee!

Rooms are clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast (although some people complain about the lack of variety). Attendents are nice and polite.

Internet is terrible and my cellular network didn't even have service. Staff was nice but that's the only good thing this place has going for it. Breakfast is also disgusting. Cockroaches everywhere. In the staircase, in the rooms, even on the cars parked outside. Rooms smell repulsive when you first walk In. Only one elevator that is really slow. Make sure if you come to ask for new bed sheets because they don't clean them. Key cards deactivate after a certain amount of time and need to be reactivated in the lobby. The shuttle for universal is always late or always early. One day it left 10 minutes before it was supposed to, and the next day it left 10 minutes after it was supposed to. The cleaning staff are really nice and thoughtful. Overall I'd say that you could make it work if you really tried. I went crazy with Lysol disinfect wipes since the room was that dirty.

This place was perfect for us we don't need fancy but like a clean safe place to stay. If you are going to Disney or Universal this place is perfectly located.

This was our second stay with them and we will definitely stay here the next time we go to the theme parks.

This is a bargain for the price. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast in the morning was great! Don't expect to do much on the WiFi other than send emails though as that was really slow.

If you must stay here, get a room on the third floor. Noise from upper floors and poorer room quality make first floor a losing prospect. Anyway, would recommend grudgingly, only at the lowest price within it's range. Lack of onsite laundry and plumbing issues in both rooms I was given over the course of my stay. At least I didn't see any bugs!

Long, short: shouldn't even be considered a 2.5 star hotel!

This is a nice hotel for the price. I read some very negative reviews after reserving a room and I was nervous. The rooms are clean and better than expected for the price range. The complementary breakfast includes very good Belgium waffles. And, the hotel is right off of International Drive, so there's a lot within walking distance.
