This hotel is ok, good room size for NY. It's just a bit dated, needs a refresh. Also, there was only 1 plug socket available for use! Also, the shower head is an adjustable but is set in the ceiling which is quite high, I'm 6ft so was able to reach to change the setting but smaller people wouldn't without using a chair (in the shower?!? A bit odd).

Very clean and comfortable, however it was so hot inside with the heat cranking and no way for a guest to cool down their room. Only option was to turn heat up. There was no ability to turn on much needed air conditioning in what was probably an 85 degrees and sweltering room.

Good hotel to stay at when visiting on business. The Irish theme is a bit corny and the decor is dark but the rooms are a good size and comfortable. The rooms have windows onto an internal courtyard which makes for a poor view but keeps the rooms quiet at night. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The hotel is very antiquated but stylish. The bed was comfortable and the shower was quite nice. It's also in a great location in terms of walking and with respect to the subway. The one thing I didn't like was that the wifi wasn't free.

If I could give this hotel 1 million stars I would You walk into the lobby and you immediately feel as if you have known the staff your entire life. They make you feel so welcome. Whenever we go back to NYC this is our place. Room is so fantastic for the price. Search online for deals you wont regret your stay in this wonderful hotel.

Great location. Central to all. Kind staff. Clean rooms. Modern enough. We are happy here. Explore the upper East side and all NYC has to offer.

Very nice room, friendly staff, nice bar. Do recommend if you are staying in midtown. No microwave but they do have a shirt press.

There is nothing I can say about this hotel that will describe just how good it is. We stayed here for our Honeymoon and were upgraded immediately on arrival. We were given the 5* treatment from start to finish and never wanted to leave and return to normality.
The concierge got us everything we needed. Taxi, Theatre tickets, excursions, you name it, they did it. And did it with ease too.
Bedrooms were huge and had lots of space, the bar was lovely and never overly busy.
Oh..and we were approx. 7 min walk from Central Park and even less to 5th Avenue.
We will be back on our Anniversary with our children nex time
Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple

Lovely hotel with lovely staff. Plenty of places to eat and shop near by and close to subway lines that can take you all over Manhattan. We stayed here on our honeymoon to New York and the hotel upgraded us to a suite (room 907) and there was champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us when we arrived. The only reason I have given this review 4 stars is because one of the windows in the "living room" is in need of fixing rather than duct tape around the edge which I'm sure is only a temporary measure. This left the room colder than the bedroom but it did not cause discomfort as the rooms heating easily compensated. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Manhattan
