Walk into the room and it smells truly disgusting. Then when I pull up the comforter there is no top sheet on the bed. I call the front desk and 20 minutes later a guy knocks on my door and hands me a stack of sheets and a comforter. Kind of annoyed that they didn't send someone up to make the bed but was tired and just wanted to get to bed. Then when I open up the comforter I see that it has really nasty stains all over it. I call the front desk and say I want a new room. The guy acts like I have a problem which really pissed me off even more. They then get me another room which has the same nasty smell and what happens when I lift up the comforter - no top sheet. Truly disgusting in a hotel to sleep in a bed with no top sheet. Slept with the nasty comforter on the floor and no cover. Highly recommend not staying here.

Great location! Columbus Circle, Lincoln Center, Central Park, etc.. Rooms small, clean, retro/modern. Views good if you can get a room facing 58th, otherwise don’t expect to be looking at anything scenic out if your window. Staff is super friendly. Definitely check out the rooftop.

Very chic with 50 or so rooms, each with a different theme and layout. On site sushi restaurant and bar. Right across from Central Park. With your stay, you get access to the large fancy gym across the street, which is a nice benefit as well.

stayed in the hotel for one night. However, met up with my fiance' whom was there for the entire week. I was turned off by the small (width) hallways, short ceilings(I'm 6'-5"); and tremendously the stench. The staff was pretty cool. I can definitely mention per my fiance' experience she wasn't very happy. However the location was pretty cool. Trump Towers is not too far. Various things to do. I wouldn't suggest anyone to stay in the hotel. However, I'm a business owner myself so any smart owner would do is make sure that the brand & experience is better for the next client.

Great hotel. We booked on hotel tonight before we went into the city and we were very pleasantly surprised by not only the price, but how nice the room was. After a long day of walking the city and going to the Harry Styles concert, the heated bathroom floor was by far the best part about the room. Overall would definitely stay there again. Oh, and the view from the rooftop deck was absolutely lovely. Gorgeous view of Central Park.

Top dollar price for a poor quality room. Bad sound insulation and ridiculous prices, even for the heart of Manhattan. Shower had rusty curtain rod and holes where old shower bars had been. Shower head looked like it was from a bargain bin, room amenities were double the cost of other 'nice' hotels I've been at. Give this one a miss if you want a good stay in the heart of the city, unless you're fine with getting ripped off.

Location is awesome. Rooms are nice and clean. Staff is helpful. Only issue was the sound insulation When I'm in my room, I can very clearly hear other people on my floor watching TV, talking, etc.

Walking distance of central park. Super nice staff. Very welcoming. Room had a nice cozy feel to it. Very relaxing. Space was tight but that was expected in NYC. Overall very nice experience.

The place stinks of wet fish from the sushi bar. The bed was very uncomfortable, all three chairs in the room were worse. I had more than one day without hot water. While there is a mini bar there isn't a bottle opener in the room. The free wi-fi is dreadful, it just stops for minutes at a time.

I spent a week at Hotel 6 Columbus, and for the most part the hotel experience was a good one. The decor is "boutique" modern minimalist with a sort of Japanese interior design feeling. Beds were comfortable, the room quiet and I slept well. However, we had a few very cold nights (in mid-February) and I found the room heating system was unable to maintain temperature above 68 degrees even with the thermostat turned up to 78. I found myself sleeping in my winter coat to stay warm. Luckily the weather turned warmer for the last few night of my stay. The shower was an excellent one with good pressure and very hot water. Even though I brought my own shampoo and cream rinse, it was superfluous, since I ended up using the hotel's which was very good. However I used my own soap bar as I prefer the Dr Bonner Almond soap. I had one breakfast in the restaurant, also Japanese interior design motif. My American breakfast with eggs and toast was excellent and was served by friendly smiling waitresses. You can pick up a free New York Times in the lobby, and the WiFi is free. The Hotel location is excellent across from the Shoppes of Columbus Circle and near Lincoln Square at the south west corner of Central Park. There is no in-room coffee maker, though, since coffee is available downstairs, and anyway it would be too messy for the smallish size rooms. I would have given 5 stars except for the heating problem, and an unfortunate interaction with a new inexperienced night manager who insisted I had a non-cancellable reservation when in reality my internet invoice clearly stated I could cancel with 24 hours notice in case I needed to check out of the hotel before my stay was up. In all considering this is New York, I think this hotel is a good value with a fair price considering the excellent location and high quality rooms. I would stay here again.

Great location, clean and nicely laid out rooms, pretty sure bathroom floor was heated. Very nice front desk staff. Lots of amenities (luggage holding, connected bar/restaurant with room service, etc.).

The hostess put us off from the start. We were late for our reservation, and we truly didn't mean to be. We were running late from an earlier meeting. But I didn't need to hear in essence "You're lucky we didn't cancel your reservation." and gave us a talking to. We literally spent over $900 with tip. Give me a break, lady. Food was excellent. Service was amazing. No complaints at all, and I loved the food. Could have done without the comments.
