The pool and the lady at the tiki bar were nice, but a lot of the front desk staff didn't speak English well and the room smelled weird when you walked in. I also forgot the pillow there and called that night and every day for 3 days and they never called back in the morning like they promised. I call again the 4th day in the morning and they hadn't found it. It sounds like either housekeeping kept it or a guest took it. Finally I speak to a manager who basically hangs up on my face. I'm a platinum member and I love Marriott but I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Very disappointed with service. The bed sheets are not changed, don't know why the walk around with a cart with sheets on it. I brought my own towel from home a yellow and white, housekeeping took it. The elevator smells like a sewer runs under it. Room doors don't close properly doors stay open or unlocked. Housekeeping does a bad job of cleaning, some coffee spilled on the floor, it left a sticky area, (you know what I mean), still there. They definitely go through your bags. My drone bag zipper was not like I left.

I've stayed here before, however I will not stay here again. I would not recommend staying here total invasion of privacy, lack of trust.

Very nice employees and really good vibe. Bar and pool area are great to hang out and chill. Rooms are clean and comfortable. This has to be one of the better stays I've had in hotels.

Nice hotel across from water on Roosevelt. Nice staff and business center is small but you do not need a room key to use their computer, printer or internet services. Bathrooms are very clean and convenient. Stairs make it harder to access for handicapped but there is more entrances from covered garage to accommodate.

I booked the hotel because it had three things I was looking for: breakfast, tile floors in the room and pool with shade. The breakfast is honestly amazing and constantly being replenished. The room is very small for my family of 4, even with the full beds instead of the usual queen. We had to move the bed to fit the playpen and the floors were dirty. Housekeeping came so late everyday, like at almost 5pm, and 3 nights out of 5 we had to ask for towels because they were not replenished. The pool is gorgeous, and so cold no one is ever really in it. At first I thought the hotel was empty because no one was in the pool. Then I realized it's so cold no one will go in! I am so disappointed in this stay. Gorgeous place, friendly staff; can't get a good use of the facility.

The breakfast is good and staff is nice. But that's it. The beds are made really late not to mention hard. When you com back to power up for the second half of the day. You don't have the beds made or clean towels. Three of our nights we had to ask for towels. They made the bed and didn't leave any towels. And you can forget about walking barefoot in the room. The floors are dirty and they don't move the beds to clean so it is very dirty around the beds. The rooms are a bit small. I have a playpen and I needed to move the beds a little. When I did I had to clean the floor a lot. I can't believe how dirty it was. The biggest problem was with the pool. We came for the pool and didn't even stay in it for more then 10 minutes. It is ICE COLD they keep it cool with chillers. The drink I got at the bar was not as cold as the pool. I like a cold pool but this was an ice bath my 9 year old was only able to stand it for a little bit and my toddler cried and was never able to deal with the cold temperatures and he loves the water. I wish I would have known this before booking the room. I would rather have a smaller pool that my kids and I can use than a pretty cold one that I can only look at. I give it 2 stars and I think I'm being nice. If you can't take a shower at 4pm with a clean towel or go in the pool because it's ice cold what good is it for. Next time we will book a different place with better housekeeping and a pool we can use.

I am currently here now. Nice pool that's all it has going for it. I get here and both my queen beds sheets are stained and have hair in them. (VERY CLEARLY the linens were not changed, both beds, and the bed was made back up for the next guest.) maybe this is how they run the show here I don't know. For $265 a night, at a Marriott run hotel, this shouldn't happen. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that for whatever reason, they didn't change the bed.

They give us a new room. Sweet. We wake up this morning and find crusty orange food stains all over my comforter on the underside where we are sleeping up by or faces not to mention.. (We did NOT have ANY food in our room.) call the front desk and ask them to do something about it and this is the SECOND ROOM this happened. An hour later we go to our room and they had thrown a clean comforter on the bed and just left. HAHA..And the front desk is acting like this is totally normal. Dish a out a free drink coupon every time our new rooms don't have the sheets cleaned and hopefully the guest won't say anything. Disgusting. I've stayed in HUNDREDS of hotels, all decent and never have had this experience. TWICE AT THIS HOTEL. Finally Went to management since obviously the issues haven't left the front desk staff. Also sent Marriott a very long email about this and the assured they will look into this.

If your are already paranoid about your hotel room being dirty USE CAUTION AT THIS HOTEL!!!!! Atleast triple check the sheets!!!!! Clearly they think it's better to save money then give guests clean linens.

Good location, away from old town crowds, yet close enough to everything. Nice pool area with bar, scooter rental on site and close to several dining or fast food options. Not a fancy hotel but beds were comfortable and room was clean.

I debated between giving 4 and 5 stars and settled for a 4. The check in process was a breeze and the front desk staff was awesome. The property is beautiful and well maintained though a little dated. The rooms are spacious but do have a slightly old feel about them. This is probably because of the age of the property. They have a nice pool and tiki bar. There is a lot of place around the pool. My wife and I spent close to an hour after midnight sitting near the pool area. The main reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the fact that they don't have a shuttle service to Duval street and the plumbing in my room was a little weird. It was tricky to get it into the correct position to stop the flow of water. Clearly repeated rough use by previous guests had messed it up. This was in room 135. Overall it was an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

awesome hotel! the rooms were nice and clean(a bit small though, but that didn't bother me), the pool was amazing, the breakfast was delicious, room service is nice, and everything is great here! I would recommend this hotel! (plus this hotel has the best pool in the area)
