Was overcharged for EVERYTHING. Double charged my credit card for a ONE night stay.. tying up over 600 dollars on my credit card while I was on a vacation. Still have yet to see refund.. and hotel says wait 7 to 10 business days. So upsetting. Not worth the stress and they stopped me from doing and experiencing a lot due to my insuffienct funds.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around

Quaint, off the beaten track location. Walking distance from the ocean. Rooms were well maintained. Loved the first floor rooms with doors opening to the large patio with full service bar. Nice, clean pools available. Small breakfast buffet was overpriced, and food was not very good. I would stay again, and definitely recommend for getaway location.

Not bad. The room was nice but the air conditioner was very noisy. We called the front desk and they sent someone up to check it. He looked at the unit and ran off saying he would check with a supervisor. We never heard from again. Also no bell hops or offer to help with luggage. Acceptable perhaps at an less expensive hotel, but we expected more here.

We have stayed here many times. Staff is helpful and eager to offer things to see. My wish for the room is a bigger vanity for 2 people. A light weight blanket in the closet so I could take off that heavy comforter. The daily room service is perfect, nice aroma after they clean the floor.

We loved our stay at the DoubleTree! Clean rooms and beautiful crisp white linens, feather pillows and medium soft beds. Free Wifi and a pool view came with our room. We opted for a room with a balcony and glad we did. The food in the restaurant is delicious but the same price as going to the local places with more culture.Try the Alfredo! The service is impeccable from the cookie at check in to the recommendation of how to get a refund on the last day because it is a 5-6 hour drive from and to Miami and you decided to get a room there for the night before your am flight! Dina the concierge was amazing! We had an issue with the cityview trolley that required a refund and she was quick to assist us with that refunding the entire cost. She was able to book our excursions with ease with an obvious report with the local vendors. The shuttle took us right to the center of everything and leaves every hour from the hotel and comes back on the 30 min. Shuttle is free but tips appreciated! I hope you chose this little gem on the quiet side of the island I know we were glad we did. By the way lots of Iguanas that live and swim at the pool here and the are amazing!

I was a little skeptical at first because of some of the reviews but I decided to book this hotel anyway. I stayed at this hotel in May and I was blown away. Without a doubt I will be coming back to this hotel in the future. The Hotel is clean and updated! the pool area is beautiful, the workers always have a smile on their face and are happy to help you, the restaurant and the bar are great and the food is outstanding!
Tip: *take advantage of the shuttle service

Billy the Greek bartender was great. Other service around the pool lacked. Long time wait. For a slow bar. Iguana's were awesome. Pool was dirty by sunset from so much action. Go swimming early. Jacuzzi was perfect. Rooms were great . Refrigerator s slow to chill. All other amenities we're well provided. Househkeeping was excellent. Watch for resort taxes out the door. $28.60 per night. All in all a comfortable experience. Expected more from a double tree resort. B-

Very clean hotel and the staff, for the most part, was extraordinary. Only three major drawbacks: extraordinarily busy with groups, so constant flows of people traffic; two, the shuttle service sucks; and three, the restaurant menu is terrible. In comparison to the Marriott (right down the street) there aren't nearly enough shuttle stops. They should be running constantly at peak hours and not stop at 11 PM (the island is known for its party atmosphere and the parties downtown start at 9-10). Also, since the hotel is so far away, there should be scooter/ cart rentals on site. I'd really have to consider other options when staying again just out of a matter of transportation and convenience.

Friendly staff, great heated pool, awesome bar and beautifully decorated rooms. The shuttle service was timely and very helpful. I wish smoking was not allowed on the pool deck and that bike rentals were less expensive.

Two queen beds were comfortable, air temp in room in Jan was good. We were on the hhonors floor, far from elevator, facing parking lot. Breakfast is buffet and not included regularly. Tub was slippery. Beds were comfy, but pillows were too soft (but there were a lot so you could stack). Good blackout curtains, warm cookies, free mini water bottles. Hourly shuttle (free) to/from downtown. Jacuzzi had sand in it. All of this makes it a good 3-star hotel choice for the keys.

Great resort, I wish the beach was closer but you can see it from the top floor. The breakfast buffet was well worth the price. You can over look the pool if you choose. They have massage tables in private tents by the pool. Really relaxing experience.
