Be careful with this hotel charging more than what they should. We got 2 extra charges totaling aprox. $730. We called them to request a refund, they said they will call us back, never did. My husband had to call 2 more times, they responded those charges were 'authorizations" and they should be reversed, which never happened. We called again, they said we have to go to the credit card company to request our money back (all this was before hurricane Irma) . After more than 1 month we're disputing those charges since we got no help from them.
As an additional comment, breakfast service was so poor. We waited like 25' after they took our order, watching other people that came after us getting their meals. When asking the waitress about our order, she asked us to remind her what our order was. They took another 20' to bring our breakfast.
We would not recommend this hotel to anyone.response / report this review -

A beautifully designed Resort with 4 smaller pools for different preferences (kids / silent). It's 8 minutes away from key west city center by car / Shuttle service provided by hotel. So it's not walking distance, but not far either. Rooms are nice with balcony or terrace, coffee machine, nice amanities. Staff are very friendly, valet parking is fast (they say call 5 minutes before and it is 5 minutes). All around a very nice and peaceful resort (we stayed in low season though).

Location is great. Not in walking distance to Downtown but easy in and easy out. Pools and scenery are great. Only negatives are they need to clean the floors in rooms and get rid of the valet only parking, every guest was complaining about the parking

This place is absolutely the worst!!!! I booked a Ocean Front Room months before my stay. That never happened. They eventually moved my room the next day to the correct room that was filthy disgusting. The only good thing was the Manager Steve who tried hard and gave me a credit. However they can't even get the credits right. We split the credit among 2 cards. We got the credit on one card they credited some other card even though my receipt says different. I call to get it fixed rude and unhelpful. This place is not worth the money at all..And to top it off we came down to Key West to get married. So thank you Parrot Key for ruining our trip!!!!!

Great place to get away. The only thing that bothered me was the parking issues. Any time that we would go out and come back in, Valet service would stop us and try to tell us we couldn't park our own car. This was a pain in the ass because I'm a disabled vet and have my handicapped parking pass displayed right on my mirror and could see all of the empty spots to park, plus they recognized us and yet tried to tell us that we were not supposed to park the car, they are. Also they said that when we wanted to go out, we we're supposed to call the front desk for them to get our car and bring it up front at least 15 minutes before we were to go out. Our car was right in front of our room area so no, that's just foolish. We did try to get out one morning and a valet had parked a car right up against our vehicles so we couldn't get Into the passenger side door. I took pictures and showed them at the front desk and was told that Valet would be talked to. Other than that the place is very nice. We had a room all the way in the back where it is known to have a great view and a dock area. What needs to be done is to just trip down the mangroves so you can see over them out into the Bay area as the view is extremely limited. It could be phenomenal if just trimmed down. There is no beach there or access to the water even though it is right on the inner Bay.
The receptionist at the main desk, very very nice and helpful and the place is very laid back and comfortable. Beautiful rooms and four pools. I'd go back there in a heartbeat though as it is still a very nice place.👍👍

My husband I were excited to get away and booked our reservations at this resort based on the good ratings and the website pictures. We decided to get a water view room. The grounds are beautiful, but I was disappointed by the strong musty odor that we encountered as we entered the foyer area of our room, and the "ocean view" that we payed extra for was nothing more than a narrow strip of water separated by tall bushes leading out into the ocean which we could hardly see. Parking is also an issue. We got over those facts, and would have given the resort a 3 star rating, until I found a personal item damaged upon returning to the room. When I brought it to the attention of the main office supervisor/manager, they got defensive and little to no effort was made to resolve the issue.

Had booked the water view. I was a little concerned after reading some previous reviews that the growth around the property now blocks the view. Was pleasantly surprised to see that the trees had been trimmed down so that the view was not obstructed. The four pools were very nice. I certainly enjoyed the quiet pool.

We like this place but.. Don't come with kids- most people that stay here for rest and relaxation - that's great but with 3 young boys(2,8,9) this is not the typical place for fun - they clean your room at 4 in the afternoon, the Walgreens parking lot next door is just as great!!, And if you want a drink 2 drinks cost $25, the carpet in the room turns your feet black, everything in the room smells like mildew, I'm not one to complain but when taking the kids on vacation this will not be a place to come back to and we have come 2 times- if you're couples it's great but if you don't want your kids tip toeing around then I suggest you find something like southernmost or something else it's worth the extra dollar you'll be spending and oh yeah they charged us an extra $700 in a deposit - oops but 2 free lunches can fix that right?!? Not - can't wait to go home!!

We came for an escape from Miami Beach and this place is great! It's located in the new part of Key West near the Home Depot, which worried me, but the rooms all face into the pool which keeps it quiet. There are 3 pools to choose from and one of them reminded me of a Balinese getaway. We had a room that had its own entrance to a small beach. There is also a shuttle into town to take you to the beach in downtown. All in all a great getaway for families or couples!

Beautiful resort. Loved the landscaping throughout the entire complex. They have sangria in the lobby that's free for guests as well as water with lemons and limes. The cafe was convenient and reasonably priced. I stayed in one of the water-front rooms. It was relaxing and peaceful although pricey but totally worth it for 3 nights. Would recommend this place to friends.
