Don't go. give you playing card of local fisher who caught your meal then serve frozen fish. Eco friendly claim yet canal filled with wrappers from bread sticks they give you. Very over priced. Locals avoid it.

Rooms were decent. Beds could have been queen-size. Full size was too small. Loved the shuttle into town. The breakfast was better than nothing. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful place to stay on vacation. Rooms are cozy, with a nice view of the beach and you have a hammock right outside your room. I wouldn't recommend swimming there though. Lots of birds outside your door too. It was a very relaxing weekend. Oh and the shampoos and soap they give smelled great, lol. I didn't check it out, but in the evening you're able to feed and pet baby sharks and a few other animals.

WOW!! WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!! I was blown away with the staff from the first moment of check-in. We were upgraded to beach front (still don't know why??) The driver for the bus was very skilled and maneuvered with great care thru all the old town traffic. The dining staff were on point and always had cheerful expressions. Iguanas came out to feed 20 ft. From our beach door!! No staff was ever on a cellphone!! (Unheard of). Congratulations to all the members of this Ibis bay crew!!. Thanks for the WONDERFUL time.(The food was great as well)

I attended dinner with some associates from work the service was superb with waitress's that are as friendly as they are beautiful. The food was some of the best I've ever had the pleasure of eating. I had the black grouper basted in a almost sweet garlic sauce that was exquisite. The interior is calm and relaxing with a pleasant sense that I enjoyed not too lavish the way a lot of places are. Definitely what I'd call a 5 star on all scales.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around

My girlfriend had the most amazing time zooming around the island and we even fell off a few times but the water was warm and it was hot out so it was really just awesome. Thank you to Jeremy and the rest of the Jet Ski staff for making our trip to the keys worth every penny. I would suggest wearing snug sunglasses to help keep the salt water from splashing into your eyes. Got an hour and a half long tour and never felt rushed. 5 Stars all the way.

This is for a niche market. Do not expect plush or up market. This is a 1950's style resort that is quirky and some will find delightful. It has loads of character and we loved the colourful relaxed rooms. The night kayaking is also very peaceful.

Great location. Not all the way down the island and easy to get in and out off. Room was comfortable with a mini fridge. There was not a microwave so that was disappointing. Rooms kept clean. Not too much privacy for the patio behind your room as it is open air. The backdoor is sliding and has curtains to cover it. Really nice to have the pool attached to the stoned crab as you can eat and order drinks pool side. Scooter rentals are also available on site. Parking is a tidbit cramped but available.

My girlfriend and I went on a jet ski tour and had Jeremy as our guide. We had the most amazing time zooming around the island and we even fell off a few times but the water was warm and it was hot out so it was really just awesome. Thank you to Jeremy and the rest of the Jet Ski staff for making our trip to the keys worth every penny. I have not stayed in the hotel here because I live locally. However, the restaurant is terrific and the fresh seafood plentiful and deliciousas well as locally supplied from some fishermen I know!Some of my guests have rented jetskis or kayaks etc and all have had a good experience. The restaurant is literally at water's edge on one side, separating the dining area from North Roosevelt Blvd, so you can watch the weary commuters as they gaze longingly at you sipping your cocktails!. It is attractively lit up at night. Swimming pool to the other side. It really is a lovely place.

Grounds and room are very cleanPool is nice but you aren't far from the hwy so it's not the quietestThey do play great relaxing music in the background as well. Best part is the free shuttle around town on the hour til 10pm. Rooms with beach are small but very well taken care ofAnd remember you are in Key WestIt's expensive!

This was a fun place to stay. The employees were incredibly friendly and helpful. Luis and Dave were great bartenders who treated us like friends. The Life Is Too Short Shuttle Bus was awesome. The only downside was our room location. Right on the end where our patio bordered the cut through to the inner courtyard parking lot where the employees and workers parked. Everytime we opened the curtains there was someone right there. I would recommend this place. I would get a waterfront room next time.

We did a girls trip and loved the resort immensely. Wonderful, old (but well-maintained) property with tons of character! The rooms are exactly as promoted, super colorful without being cheesy and overdone. Awesome grounds with rescue animals, great pool and good breakfast at the restaurant. The rooms had hammocks right outside, with great views.

The staff was friendly, cheerful, helpful and generous. After we remembered we were on island time, and slowed down the pace of the resort and everyone running was perfect.

The bus ran every hour, and took you straight to the heart of Key West. We liked being out of the super business around Duval street. Ibis was quiet and comfortable and a great place to return after walking around all day.

While this is a beach resort, Key West is not a 'beach' town. So, if you are looking for a beach front resort you can swim from, try any other coastal city in Florida.

I heard people complain about the sand, but um, you are at the beach, duh. The resort is old and obviously built before we had such a huge need for zillions of plug ins. Our room did not have enough, but with creativity figured it out. If we return, will bring extension cords.
