Stayed at the Pier House last weekend. Arrived on the Key West Express on Sunday at noon and left Monday night. The hotel was awesome. The staff was great. They let us check into our room a little early which was great. The room was beautiful and clean. The next day they let us keep our bags with the bellmen so we could shop and enjoy Key West during the day. Cannot say enough good things about the place and highly recommend the Pier House. Can't wait to stay there again.

Just got back home from this place. This is thee only place to stay in KW if you’re looking for a full service resort style hotel. You’ll be right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Duval Street. The cool thing is, once you get back to the Pier House, you’ll never know it. Nice and quiet. I’ve been coming here for 30 plus years and it’s always a good time. Every time.

Very nice hotel on a nice but small beach. Nice beach bar for tastey refreshments and good food on the beach or poolside. This hotel is in a Great and veru convenient location, everything that you might need is within walking distance. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and extremely efficient!! The room was nice, clean and very comfortable but the air conditioner was unusually loud.. I will stay here again.

This place is great. Location, the staff are just top notch. I've been coming here for a few years and I'm never disappointed. Just an overall great experience and Well worth the money

Simply the best in town. Private beach, pool. Restaurants and bars next to the sea. At the start of Duval street - nightlife starts at the door.

Wedding planning disaster
My daughter was trying to book the Pier House for her wedding and didn't even get that far. Initially, the event planner never responded, because she was on vacation, which apparently the receptionist did not know. Finally, we did hear back from the Marketing Manager, who gave us a tour and brochure. Then we were back dealing with the event planner whose was totally unresponsive. We submitted the form looking to confirm the date and it took over a week and a call to the General Manager to get her to respond.
Apparently, they didn't appreciate that we took the issue up to senior management, although The Marketing manager did admit they had "internal communication issues" they were working on.
When you are planning to spend tens of thousands of dollars at a 4 star hotel on the most important event in your life you want and expect excellent service. Unfortunately, you won't get it at the Pier House!!!response / report this review -

The Pier House is location is perfect for discovering Key West. It has a complete spa, restaurant, and 2 bars. One of them being the Chart Room which is a little quirky but has a lot of history. The Pier House is one of the few places on the island to have a private beach. The staff are always trying to make sure that you are enjoying your stay and are a great source of information. We have been coming here for several years and have never been disappointed. It is a true vacation for those looking to relax but close enough to do all that the area has to offer.

Hotel location and amenity are very nice. Self parking for 21.50 which is decent. But we didn't get the room we booked (pool view) so not fully satisfactory.

Stayed in a suite, quick service throughout the stay, has a little bit for everyone. Liked the hole in the wall bar in the middle of the resort just as well as the fancy bar you can see the sunset from. The spa was quite pricey. we ended up going elsewhere in town for that but heard great things. Private beach had great accommodations and close to the heart of the city. No need to rent a car if you stay here, everything is within walking distance and there is a shuttle that goes throughout town. Would recommend staying here!

Tesla Charger, Wonderful location, & great staff. Often the qualify and integrity of a business can be found in the actions and training of their employees. To be honest, my stay had some issues which were not resolved during my stay. In the end, they were not huge, so I decided not to address them. A few days after returning, I received an email from Heather asking about my stay. I decided to let her know about the issues so that she could address them with the staff. I really did not expect a response, but this morning I received a reply letting me know the issue would be addressed and offering me a discount because of the issues I had experienced. I will be staying there again when in the Keys.

First time visit to the keys. Pier House provided a great jumping off point. It's located at the end of Duval but just far enough away if you want to get away from that craziness. Short walk to the harbor and some great restaurants. The beach on the property was nice, clean but small(but never got too crowded).

Had dinner with about 20 others on a Saturday night. Staff was great! They probably should have kicked us out but instead had fun right along with us. Things were a little slow as there were only maybe 2 other tables in 3 hours. Food was great; it was all cooked well. I'd definitely go back!

The key feature here is the tiny private beach where Key West really isn't a beach town. They made one by bringing in some sand from the Bahamas, putting it at the edge of the Harbor and surrounding it with a great restaurant, a fun beach bar, and a pool.
We had an ocean front room which is great simply because the view of sailboats coming and going all day is intoxicating. That being said if we go back, we might save some money and get a garden view because that garden looks like it's right out of Hawaii. It surrounds the pool. I'll miss walking by the turtle garden each day.
Go have a late night drink with Victor in the Chartroom Bar. He can talk about any subject you're up for. The whole staff at this place is laid back Key West style. It's probably the most relaxing vacation I've ever taken.
And the location is fantastic being at next to the pier and Mallory Square and most of the great restaurants and bars. The hotel offers a private shuttle, but we never used it - that would require forethought and within an hour of staying here, we were too relaxed to plan anything. We winged the entire vacation and it was great.
The only thing we planned the entire time was a private sailing cruise that the hotel arranged for us.response / report this review -

We had 3 wonderful nights at the Pier House! The Dockside Suite was incredible! The sunsets are unmatched and the infinity balcony makes you feel like you are living on the water. The service at the Pier House is impeccable and the private beach is perfect! The food is deliciousespecially the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict.we will definitely be back ! Kudos to the entire staff at the Pier House!
