Nice hotel, comfortable room and nice people
Once you find the hotel behind the gas stations, it's a great place. A smaller room, but nice and clean and fairly modern. Standard Fairfield breakfast and an above average exercise room. Probably the best freeway and fuel access for any hotel I've ever stayed at.
The facility was mostly well maintained and located right off of the major highway which made it very convenient. However, there were a couple of the issues that I should mention. I did have to switch to a different room because the entry key did not work which was a little inconvenient because I had to move to a different floor. The weekend that I was there, the Inn was 100% booked. As a result, the breakfast room was under-staffed and ran out of food frequently. Both mornings I never did have eggs, potatoes, and sausage on the plate at the same time. Regardless, I would still go back there.
I am not handicapped, but was given a handicap room. There's no way a wheelchair would fit between the tv and the bed. They don't have enough refrigerators or microwaves for all their rooms. There's no washer/dryer, but will gladly charge $8.50 to wash/dry a single pair of pants. I left my phone charger plugged into the outlet. They claim to not have found it. Way over priced!!
Better than expected breakfast selections (scrambled eggs, ,small cheese omelettes, hard-boiled eggs, turkey sausage, cereals, oats, waffles, a couple flavored yogurts (chobani and regular), breads and mini bagels.
Comfortable bed, good ac, and good staff. Would recommend. Fitness room had two treadmills, elliptical, and free weights, in pairs, up to 50lb. Better than I usually see.
Small unremarkable rooms. There aren't any free outlets to charge cell phones or computers. The A/C unit is old, loud and clunky.
There was a housekeeping cart outside of my room all week long.
The 6:00am complementary breakfast won't be served until 6:30 or later. The mornings I was down for breakfast, it was being set up by one person, while the manager on duty stood in the way making it difficult to get everything put out.
The soda vending machine was out of everything, but still charged my card. The manager wouldn't refund me my money.
Considering the other hotel options in the area, it surprises me that a Marriott property would be so incredibly sub par.
Clean room. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Easy check in. Good location and easy to find. Breakfast is acceptable for hotel food included with staymany choices. We will stay here again.
TV channels weren't working correctly and they knew it. Beds are hard as a rock. Had a do not disturb on door when we went to dinner, came back and there were fresh towels on the bed. What does Do Not Disturb Mean???
The rooms are small, I stayed on the 3rd floor in a King room. The hallway had an overpowering scent of air freshener. The room had a damp musty smell. The breakfast was good.
I really enjoyed my long-term stay here visiting my newest grand daughter. All of the staff were very professional & courteous. The room was clean, peaceful, and bright. A mini refrigerator was provided and the pool area stocked with towels,as well as my room. Front desk Always said Welcome Back each an every time I came back. The breakfast ladies worked very hard to ensure everyone's needs were met. Again, job well done I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.
Sincerely,
Connie
Breakfasts options were good. Place was clean pool was nice too. Surrounded by beauty of nature.
Room was clean. Common areas clean. Breakfast was nice. But the single breakfast staff was overwhelmed by the number of guests coming through the breakfast area. The lobby was easily 5-10 degrees colder than the rest of the downstairs. You cant check out over the phone.
