Really nice place for a good price, especially if you went through the Groupon. Good customer/front desk service. Next to good restaurants and cafes. Across the street from the beach. The only thing I had an issue with was that the room we were in was on the side of street and the traffic noises made it difficult for me to sleep because I am a light sleeper.

The hotel is ok for what it is. It's clean, staff is courteous. TV was on the fritz the whole time which isn't awful unless you like unwinding with it at night. For the first night only three channels worked, 2 were in English.

Great little hotel right across the street from the beach. We parked our car the whole time we were there because we could walk everywhere. The room was a nice size. I am told they have rooms with Jacuzzi tubs here. The halls are a little older, but the rooms seem to be updated.

Was nervous about the hotel after reading some of the reviews. But was greeted with respect, the staff was friendly. The room nice and quiet. The tub was great, bed firm and comfortable. Stayed on 3rd floor next to the pool. Nice restaurant nextdoor. Only complaint; the AC did not deliver the nesessary coolness. I will stay there again

It was a typical tourist hotel. It's tired. If you want to do work here be sure you get an upstairs room as there's virtually no signal downstairs. It is quiet down there. I will give it that. It's close to the beach but it's also right on Pacific Coast Highway so there's a lot of road noise if you're in one of the top or front units. The beds are decent as are the amenities.

Good area. Beautiful grounds. Needs a bit of updating and maintenance. Extremely nice staff. Nice pool. They do have a breakfast but have not tried yet.

We go to Laguna Beach every year. This year we decided to switch things up a bit and stay at a new hotel. That new hotel being "Laguna Brisas Hotel." Let's just say my whole family and I were not impressed. We went to check in and the guy at the front desk was VERY rude. EXTREMELY rude. Not just to us but other guests too. He made a huge fuss about the littlest things, he also kept hammering us about which room level we wanted but wouldn't show us the room options. The website advertises this hotel as a "beachfront hotel" with an "ocean-view terrance" which both of those statements are completely false. This hotel is across the busy street from the ocean-making it not beachfront and there is no ocean-view from anywhere. You practically have to stand on the roof to see event the tiniest of ocean blue. I would defiantly NOT recommend this hotel. We ended up leaving and finding another hotel.

Everything was fine until check out time. I reserved the room on line and they were very nice while I checked in. We had a large party so we also took a room across the street. They don't charge for parking there so we parked across the street. when it came time to check out they still charged for parking that we didn't use !! When we explained this to them they were very rude and said that we did use the parking. When we asked for receipt they would not give us one because we booked on line. The man was very rude and loud. We'll never stay there again. If they needed the money that bad they should have just added it on the original price!!!

Very beautiful hotel right on the water. Breakfast was very nice. I really thought everything was nice but I felt the price of everything was inflated. Especially since they nickel and dime you for things like parking and water. Great location.

I was expecting more, unfortunately the room was a little old feeling and the tub was large, but kinda dirty when I started the jets this nasty grey foamy stuff came out. Also the room was smaller than expected and not as close to the beach as described. 99 steps to the beach? More like 99 steps to the street corner you cross to go down the hill to a public access point. Rooms were overpriced for what you get. Stay at laguna riviera instead! Direct beach access, much nicer place!!!

Online reservation said no deposit required. My price breakdown including all taxes and fees said it was $180. I wasn't informed they place a $250 incidental hold at check in as well as charging $206. My account overdrew and I wasn't able to do things I had planned. I was expecting $180 out of my account not $450. Manager was out of town through the weekend and not coming back until Tuesday. We were displaced and our vacation spoiled and I got no resolution from the manager. Also the rooms are in need of refurbishment, badly! Staff was unpleasant and unhelpful.

Beautiful hotel. Definitely will want to stay here if we visit again. The pool and hot tub was salt water, so awesome! Very clean and upkept! I was bummed we had to pay $20 per night for parking in their garage, but they do provide chairs and umbrellas and towels if you're going to the beach, which is awesome!
