For the price, the bed and room are good. My room would benefit from a renovation. The shower head is at a pretty good height; I'm 6'2" and did not have the problems I usually have at hotels.

Fairly nice. Not a romantic getaway but ok spot for the working professional. Don't forget to ask for pots abd pans to do your own cooking.

Dirty carpets with holes. Bathroom sink was clogged. Sheets were stained with unmentionables & we didn't use the tub since it still had someone else's grime left behind. If you want any utensils for kitchenette ask at check-in or schlep back to desk later and wait for someone to help you. We had plastic spoons etc from restaurant. There was one plastic cup in bathroom but nothing else, not even ice cube trays in freezer.
There is just one very slow elevator & the door loudly scrapes upon opening/closing, we were sure it was going to trap us inside so we took to the stairs after & we're on the third floor.response / report this review -

Great, friendly service. This one still has smoking rooms and they are clean and tidy. The stale cigarette smell as wonderfully nostalgic as it is, is present, yet unlike other hotels, cleaned thoroughly and therefore masked with an appropriate smelling freshener for the job. Not chemical and cleaning supply smelling filth. Have a great stay! :)

Looks ok but everything felt 2nd rate at best. Staff discussing work issues at the front desk and seemed poorly trained. You have to bring your towels down to be changed. I've been to Motel 8s that had a better vibe. Not horrible but wouldn't recommend this place.

MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD! I was in a rush to book a hotel for a family emergency in town. I called the hotel before I booked a reservation to ask about their age required to check in. I was forwarded to their corporate call center where a lady checked and confirmed it was an 18+ Hotel. I booked the hotel knowing that information, but once I arrived to check in I was told I needed to be 21+. I explained the situation to the lady at the front desk that I had called their hotel AHEAD of time and BEFORE I booked it and was told it was an 18+ hotel. I don't mind the fact that hotels have rules for 21+ but this was ridiculous. On top of this there is nothing at the front desk or on the website saying it is a 21+ hotel. When I asked the lady where does it say 21+ she simply told me "It's a Lake Forest rule" and she made a quick 5 second phone call with her "manager" to confirm it was 21+. I would not recommend this hotel just based off their customer service.

While the ladies at the counter were very nice the hotel itself left a lot to be desired. The room didn't feel clean and they were out of just about everything like Keenex, etc. No extra pillows, had to search for just about everything we were short on. Frustrating! There was even a bunch of hair in our shower drain when we got there, obviously not ours!

It was just OK. Lobby not very clean. Room smelled like old cigarettes and food cooking. Stayed 2 nights. No maid service during stay. Lowest priced option, I guess I got what I paid for. Staff was friendly.

Seems to be can older building and certainly could use a facelift/remodel. But the staff is exceptionally friendly and the rooms are well maintained.

Nice location. Spacious rooms with all basic amenities like kitchen TV recliner Queen size bed. Very friendly staff. You get coffee and take away bite breakfast complimentary with your stay. Lot of parking space. Basic amenities and food joints nearby.

Good location, nice staff, rooms are okay. Rooms have full kitchens and some guests decided to cook while keeping their door open so the entire floor smelled like their food. Some undesirable people hanging around by side exits, not sure if they are guests. Some rooms under renovation and one person doing some of the renovation smokes right outside the back door so any room near the back door smells like cigarettes.
Staff was really nice and room/hotel was much better than Irvine location.response / report this review
