Great place. Super underrated. We always stay there before cruises. Great pool and walking area by the shore. Their rooms are also great.

The Hotel Maya is a very nice place with Quick Service, helpfulland friendly staff.Exteriors beautiful, it has a nice fire pit, excellent areas the sit and chat with family and friends, and a beautiful waterfall. Interior has very nice places to sit and chat with family and friends as well, and unique art on the walls. All together beautiful atmosphere. I couldn't get enough of it.

Nice location, but rooms are EXTREMELY NOISY. Can hear people walking above, door closing, walking down hallway, a/c in room is window unit and is very loud. Rooms have been remodeled nicely, but popcorn ceilings should have been removed and bathrooms enlarged. The feel of this hotel is more like a motel due to the fact that rooms are off an outside hallway. When we checked in it was about 9pm on Friday and the smell of smoke from the bar/dance club near the front desk was horrible.
All in all, I would not recommend this property. The area around the property is wonderful! We walked to Shoreline Village, which was a great excursion!! BTW, the cookies recieved at check-in were GREAT!

This is a really nice hotel, but need to have parking spots for gold members. They also charge $26 day parking for guests, which is BS. The rooms are already over $200 per night. It is however, a great hotel.

This hotel is a mixed bag. The restaurant and bar right on the water was excellent. The decor is fun. The front desk clerk that helped us was great. The rooms are just ok. The exterior of the buildings look nice from a distance until you get close and you can tell they "paint over the dirt" alot. The elevators are also very narrow and small.

This place was pretty sweet. Great views, staff and location. My room was well appointed, clean and fairly quiet. Parking was a little steep at $26/night, but I would recommend this place.

We, ROADS FOUNDATION had a board meeting from 9-4. We were served breakfast, lunch and a snack. The waitress was amazing. She was friendly, pleasant and very accommodating. She highly represented your hotel.

The food was perfection. We were there last year and hesitated on returning due to the food and atmosphere. Today was a pleasure being there; with the view of the ocean and less traffic from passerbys because we were on the second floor.

The bathrooms could have been cleaner seeing we were there all day and other rooms being used with more people. The trash baskets were full and toilet paper was not restocked.

Overall, I was impressed and looking forward to meeting there again next year. Thank you for your service and staff who catered our meeting.

The large open door to the lobby is the first thing you notice when pulling up to check in. Walking through the door takes you to a very laid back and inviting atmosphere! Staff are friendly and professional. Rooms are nice - mine had a patio with a view of the bay. Rooms are quiet - I've seen plenty of families with kids but haven't heard a single one while nestled away in my room. I haven't had dinner at Fuego yet, but may try it this evening! No other dining close by but getting around is not difficult.

This hotel is located on the water with relaxing views. A water taxi stop is just behind it too, rides for a dollar. The restaurant had great food and drink with wonderful service. Alfredo made us feel welcome and at home. I recommend staying here if you enjoy good service, decor and atmosphere. You can plan group events too!

The hotel was great. The digital key is a great idea. Loved the heated floors and the little back yard. The pool was fantastic. Down side was drink prices at the restaurant. However food was priced Right and has great taste

I was only there for drinks and hookah. I did not stay at the hotel. I first went to the bar. Since I saw a ton of copper mugs, I assumed that they would have a pretty decent mule. So, I ordered a Moscow Mule. It had way too much lime and not enough vodka. And I'm not sure of the brand of ginger beer that they used, but it didn't have the bite that I like for my Mules to have. So, it really just tasted like a sour with vodka. I also ordered a Jameson rocks. The pour was pretty decent. So, points for that. My friend said the vodka cranberry that she ordered was way too strong. Woman problems, right. We were meeting friends on the patio for hookah. When we asked the host the best way to get to the back patio, he seemed unsure and directed us back through the lobby. In other words, the long way. Found our friends by the fire pit. The ladies attending to the hookahs were attentive. So, overall, it was a good night. I'll give it another try soon before making a final judgement.

The service is prompt and courteous. The food is amazing and exotic. The theme of the hotel is outstandingly unique and memorable. It is literally a one of a kind experience that I highly recommend.

Went for Easter Brunch. $75 per person. Awesome brunch selection. Excellent seating and view of ocean and of the Queen Mary. Very good selection of food for brunch like salmon, jumbo shrimp, make to order omelettes, tacos, eggs Benedict, plus more. Looking forward to attending future events and a definite return area. Very close to downtown long beach also for those staying overnight. Decor is modern and everything is clean and neat.

Rooms are large and cute. The hotel is on the water so certain rooms give you a nice view. Didn't like the parking and one night of my stay I had to park a ways away from my building due to a private event being held next to my building. It was a neat place to experience but I wouldn't stay here again.
