Disappointed in my stay with this hotel (12/16/17). After taxes paid over $160 for one night. The bar is nice but i had to wait 30 mins for them to come tell me they were out of the calimari and if wanted to order something else. Their breakfast is very continental style where you serve yourself from a buffet line which is fine but then they stick you for $15! I paid 15 dollars for some oatmeal and toast. Thanks! If I would of known that I just would of skipped it. To top it off I asked if I could get a ride with their shuttle service back to my work location (1.5 miles) and they told me I'd have to wait over an hour I heard the guy over the radio say "he was busy dealing with the trash" or something like that thankd bud! So i called an uber instead.

I can say the staff are friendly and the hotel is clean.

Unfortunately, I have that feeling of "buyers remorse". All together between the room, dinner, and breakfastI paid over $200 for a disappointing stay.

Great hotel, wonderful rooms and bathrooms, keep in mind the local snack place is not owned by the hotel and only takes cash for the food. The breakfast is from 6-10 and is really good. If you get an omelet make sure to ask for a fresh egg it tastes much better.

Comfortable and clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. I appreciated that the lamps had electrical outlets so I could charge my cell phone on the night table. One suggestion would be that the hotel investigate more recycling opportunities. The trash and recycling sectioned containers were very small. Given it's California, recycling should be de rigeur. Small complaint, though. Also, I missed the included breakfast buffet that most of the DoubleTree properties offer.

Good location, just off freeway. Quality great for the price, and have two Tesla destination chargers and open air parking which is trailer friendly.

Nice hotel with comfortable rooms. It is too noisy some times. Decent bar/restaurant in the hotel and close to the mall, which offer more food options. Better than other hotels nearby.

I've stayed at this hotel many years ago and it was great. Comfy bed and clean lobby. There was a huge group of cheerleading competitors that also stayed and they were really loud in the hallways, but I didn't notice some in the room. So I guess the walls are very good with keeping in noise. Parking is plentiful. Then there's the Montebello mall right across the street.

Nice place. The foyer is very large. Staff a little slow. They reviewed my reservation 3 times verbally. Overkill

Rooms a little dated. The fan too noisy.

Free mini toiletries, just in case you forgot toothpaste, deodorant, etc. A nice touch.

This should be 3.5 stars not 3

This Double tree provides exceptional service. The staff is very helpful when needed. The rooms are amazing, they're cozy and comfortable. I have never had a problem with the rooms. The location is cool, there's a mall across the street street from the hotel, it's walking distance. This hotel is my first choice.

Great service from the front desk, took care of my every needs in a heartbeat. The bar had a pretty good IPA, and the food was surprisingly good, although the calamari could've been better. The rooms were nice with the mini fridge and microwave. Disney Jr. was part of the TV selection which was really nice for my kids. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is amazing, next to the freeway and has a mall and a couple of restaurants in walking distance. The staff was absolutely amazing, especially the director of sales, Ms. Lin, helped us even though she was not part of the lobby staff. The rooms were clean, modern, and had great amenities. 15/10 would stay again.
