    I should start this review by saying I have never actually stayed at this hotel, so my review is not based on any overnight visits, but my experiences with them in other ways.

    I work for a company that supports people with disabilities in their own homes and are constantly looking for new furnishings for people's houses etc..

    This hotel just recently went under renovation and decided to give away for free, thousands of pieces of furniture to nonprofits. The furniture is in great condition and it seems like it could have been auctioned or something, so I think it's nice they gave it away. We took several desks and chairs. We also just found out that they now have a bunch of tables they are giving away so we are very excited and pleased.

    Rooms and everything else is nice and standard. The stand out feature was definitely the snacks and breakfast. Free drinks and snacks were provided at night. Yummy Chex mix! Also, the breakfast is really thorough and good quality, with eggs, bacon, cereal, omelets made to order, fruits, pastries, and more. definitely a stand out feature of the hotel.

    My husband and I own a professional race team and were racing at Mazda Raceway this past weekend. I return to my room after a 15 hour day and 3 hours of sleep the previous night to find that we have no hot water. I call down and the maintenance man shows up about a half hour later. He explains that the valve is shot and he thinks he has the part. I ask if we can use another room to shower in tonight and if he can change the part the next day when we are out. He says possibly. Then begins a 2 1/2 hour wait where no one knows what is going on. Eventually, my husband speaks to the manager who tells him that I am refusing to switch rooms and they can't find the part. HUH??? Around 3 1/2 hour into this mess they offer us another room and we move. By this point I am not okay. I am filthy, starving and angry. I decide that I will speak to the manager the next night when we get back to the room. I didn't have to. Without asking, she comped the night for our troubles and sent us a basket of goodies. It was a total class move on her part. I am truly grateful . BTW, The breakfast is AMAZING!

    They are currently renovating, so there are a lot of halfway done projects in the lobby and construction sounds during the day, but once those are done, this should be an amazing place to stay. Decent breakfast and amenities, rooms are nice and staff is helpful and welcoming. Not far at all from Cannery Row (~10m drive, though no shuttle). We told them we were celebrating our anniversary, and they gave us a bottle of wine and chocolates! If there was a shuttle and parking was complimentary, this would be 5 stars.

    The rooms were very comfortable and furnished well. The suites had a little kitchenette that was comfortable too. Breakfast was included. There was an importer station too. The view from the upper floors was very good. About 10 minutes away from the Monterey bay aquarium.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in a corner room that adjoined with another room for my mother who celebrated her 92nd birthday. The service was excellent. The morning complimentary breakfast was the best we experienced in any Embassy Suites, and the happy hour was well-staffed with cheerful bartenders and waiters. At every turn we were made to feel special.

    Family weekend stay. 2 rooms. Lobby Remodelling still in progress but breakfast service was not interrupted. Very good service at lobby and all staff. Coordination is needed with housekeeping because the number of towels for our second day did not correspond the number of guests in one of the room. Also, as it was Labour Day long weekend, the hotel was full but also beaches and nearby attractions which made on site parking difficult. They should not charge the parking fee in these conditions. Parking space was a shared space with other businesses. We even saw people using the parking lot to sleep inside their cars. Not very secured as to ask for a fee.
    Whole experience was fine

    Great staff, lively atmosphere, open bar 😂what's not to love! Dispensary close by. Ocean view. Safe environment for children and elders. Gorgeous view "The view is better here than from the top of the Eiffel tower ", Paula said. And, she is always right!

    We used to frequent this property several times a year and loved it! The construction going on here right now makes it almost unbearable. The atrium is gone. The entire hotel is just hallways covered in plastic. Construction noise still happening on a Saturday evening. Check in staff was underwhelming in every way. Especially when my 5 year old asked what happened to the fish a turtles that used to be in the atrium river. The only thing going right is the indoor pool, but definitely NOT worth the price they are charging during their complete renovation! We won't be back until it's done!

    Amazing hotel like all the other embassy suites! Embassy suites is always the preferred hotel I stay at from the happy hour, breakfast, pool/spa, fitness room and big rooms. The hotel staff is always great, haven't been to one that was rude. The only downfall is the construction they are doing right now to the hotel but they made sure you were aware of it before booking the room. And it's only to make it better which after its done this will be an amazing hotel all around!

    Let me start off by saying that this hotel is awesome. We came with a party of 8 and booked two rooms. The rooms were great and served their purpose. Each room had 1 bed and 1 foldout couch. Also included was two tv's a bathroom and a kitchen sink with a microwave. Free breakfast was pretty great (they have omelets that they can prepare on demand, along with the normal buffet breakfast food. Just make sure you get to breakfast early, they stop serving at 8:30. In addition to serving breakfast they also have free snacks at dinner. I can rate the hotel highly enough! (My only complaint would be that the elevators are small. Otherwise this place is definitely 5 stars.

    This is the hotel that we usually go to when we visit Monterey for any reason!  The rooms are clean, roomy, and secure.  We love the Happy Hour here when we check in and the kids like to explore the lobby!

    Ya, the price is sometimes in the high end but the way I look at it is this;

    Room for four $150.00_wow

    Breakfast included, which is a full breakfast with cook to order could cost you elsewhere, $70.00-$100.00 depending on where you dine and what sides you order!

    With that being said, my room is know $50.00 to $80.00!  May sound kinda weird how I come with this conclusion to some but think about for a moment and I think you'll find it's actually a very good deal!
