An older hotel which has been kept up to date. Convenient for the beach, within walking distance. Beds comfortable but walls thin so you hear noisy neighbors. Very good breakfast, bacon & eggs plus usual stuff.

Over all our stay at this Best Western was fine. The one problem we had was the hair dryer did not work properly. Upon arrival in our room I observed a faint displeasant odor (maybe mold? Not sure what i was smelling, my boyfriend did not notice it). Did not mention anything to front desk as maybe my sense of smell was just off. Room was otherwise very clean and comfortable. I have always preferred staying at Best Western because the beds are so comfortable and the convenience of breakfast the next day is always great.

The Best Western Beach Dunes Inn, is a typical and affordable hotel. The prices are good and for me personally it's in a great location as I am working nearby. The hotel is relatively basic but appears to be pretty well maintained. The rooms are clean and functional although a little dated. Beds are comfy and the room is spacious. I can't endorse this hotel as a "great place to stay" but it is by no means bad. It is a no frills, inexpensive, room for the night. You will be comfortable and rested.

good value because i wasn't there to spend time in my room. it served the purpose as a safe acceptable place to sleep. there is a nice center courtyard that i saw but didn't have the time to enjoy. air conditioner was quieter than many i have experienced. Shower/hot water was good. Bed wasn't the worst nor was it the best, so i slept pretty good.

The room was clean and comfortable. Upon arrival the staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds were perfect for a glass of wine and some cheese if you so choose to sit by one of the outside sitting areas. The beach is close and an easy walk if you want a little exercise without getting sand in your car.

Very nice & clean Hotel. The employees go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Have stayed here for many years. We love that it's so close to the beach.

This hotel has a beautiful location near a beach. It is a little older, but the rooms were nice and clean. The staff are friendly. The breakfast was, to us, an average/fine morning buffet. The spa was small but kept very clean. I would return to this place.

Super clean, beds are comfy, breakfast lasts long enough to actually sleep in and there's still yummy food left - we got nice hot biscuits and gravy, along with your choice of waffles, cereal, oatmeal, pastries, yogurt, fresh melon one fruit, toast, coffee, juice. The hot tub was a perfect temperature for relaxing in without getting overheated. And the staff..they are awesome! Truly a great experience, especially after spending four days at a filthy, disgusting, money-sucking Days Inn in Anaheim. I will return to this Best Western for years to come.

Best price in the area. Everywhere else I checked was twice the price of these hotel rooms. For me the bed was way to hard. The place is a little old looking and funky but clean and nice enough to make the savings worth staying here. The lobby is very nice and the staff friendly and helpful. The free breakfast is pretty good, and there are lots of choices. I would stay here again, but next time I will bring my pad to put on the bed. Also, I asked for a handicap bathroom, so I got a bigger bathroom, but they still had a bathtub with a bar. I think they don't get the concept of handicap shower.

Hotel property is run down, littered with trash, and does not appear to be cleaned on a regular basis. Rooms - beds, carpets - are old and in need of replacement. The noise from the freeway was also a negative. A lower price hotel can still be nice although not extravagant - cleanliness of the room and attention to the cleanliness and neatness of the entire property is key. Unfortunately this BW did not meet the test.

The receptionist was very nice and kind.Hotel is in front of the beach. Apart from these 2 things there was nothing nice about this hotel.We were given a room just behind the freeway.It was so noisy.Thankfully they agreed to change our room and this one was supposedly a quiet one. When we reached our room,the bedsheets were on the floor and room was dirty.Arlene on the reception apologized for bad room service and showed us another room which was cleaner this time. But this one didn't have towels nor coffee mugs (although coffee machine was there). If you go out for dinner,its so dark out (no street lights) that you may end up taking 10 U turns to finally reach a restaurant. Next time,I would stay at a hotel inside the city for this price .

The service was great. The front desk person was patient and thorough in recommending restaurants. When I came back after dinner for a cup of coffee, she made sure that I had a fresh hot cup. Comfortable bed and pillows. A great choice for the price, when on a road trip. ADDED bonus; the Pacific Ocean and coffee in the morning.
