Happy surprise in great location in downtown Austin Good check-in experience; clean comfortable room with great bed, linens, pillows and a bonus nice view of the pool! Don't hesitate if you are looking for quality reasonably priced hotel downtown. If you are fairly fit and mobile, you can walk or roll to everywhere from here.
Love the look and location. Customer service is awesome in all arenas. Free breakfast is beyond what I expected. No at all your typical hotel free breakfast. This is real cooked hot foot, cook to order omlets, fresh fruit, many juice selections, great coffee selections. Suite are great. I'm in love with this home away from home
Comfortable room with a separate room with a pull out bed and desk. The rooms are separated by a door. Generous happy hour with tables and sitting area to linger and relax. Breakfast selection is huge. It includes eggs made the order. A few restaurants are with in walking distance and the hotel offers shuttle service. I enjoyed my stay and will consider it again in the future.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite; however the rooms were not connected! Good to know if traveling with small children that you will not be in the same room. Our doors were next to each other but no direct access. The room with the double bed was very small and only had 1 window, very poor lighting and poor air circulation. The room with 2 queen beds was nice and spacious. I found it strange that 1 room had the fridge and the other had the microwave. Nice lobby area with dining and a bar. The pool was small and crowded so we did not swim. Unfortunately we had to change hotels for a personal matter and management was kind and did not charge us for the additional 3 nights we had booked.

I'd like to especially thank the very kind employee named Jackie who works the buffet/breakfast at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Austin Downtown Town Lake location. I can't thank her enough for her excellent service and genuinely sincere care with which she does her job. She went above and beyond to meet the needs of the guests staying at this hotel. I've stayed at many Embassy Suites hotels before, and I've never met an employee who embodies such great character. I commend Jackie, and I ask that her great work please be recognized by her superiors.
The room was clean and up to date. The wifi works well. The breakfast is upscale and delicious. The pool was a huge hit with my 2 year old. The manager's reception from 5-7 offered free drinks. Overall it was a good experience.
Great hotel. Friendly staff. Parking kinda sucks. I refused to pay $30/day to self park in their garage. Had to keep paying for street parking. But besides that, had one maintenance issue that was immediately remedied. I would stay again since it's so close to downtown and right next to South Congress.
Very nice hotel! Happy 2 hrs of free drinks - nice!! And their FREE breakfast was very impressive - they had everything! The room - we reserved a room with 2 queen beds but they gave us a room with 1 queen. Felt like they gave us whatever they had at the time regardless of the reservation. We stayed in a suite that could sleep 4 people but we only had 3 bath towels, no place to hang them after we used them AND there was a huge water bug in the shower! IF we had been given the room - as resereved - they would have definitely received a 5 star rating!!
Location was fantastic. Right beside the largest urban bat colony in the world and across the street from the Yeti flagship store, this is an excellent spot. Parking is a pain, with an elevated garage and inconvenient hike to the hotel unless you choose the valet option. Staff was awesome, great flexibility and communication. Room has glorious view and was okay by Embassy Suite standards. Minor issues were addressed by staff immediately.
I loved the renovations in the hotel and the food was fantastic!! Stacey at the bar was extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations for dining in the area. I also really enjoyed the variety at the breakfast buffet.the Mexican scrambled eggs were fantastic and the fruit was fresh and flavorful. The parking is complimentary but kind of a hike if you need to get to your car. It's on the 3rd and higher levels of the parking structure next door. The one thing I'd like to see is updated televisions. Everything else is fantastic but the out dated TV's are an eye sore when everything else is so nice.

They offer a lot of things for the price! The room was very nice and spacious , the Hotel has a very nice Lobby and Restaurant/ Bar area to hang out, they offer free drinks & snacks every day from 5-7 (unlimited). There is a pool, gym and it's very close to the River and Congress street (Restaurants, live music, bars etc.). Excellent location, the only thing that was a little basic was the breakfast. Would've expected a little higher quality products and selection. Otherwise great Hotel! Would definitely stay there again.

Nice room with a beautiful view of the Congress Bridge and the State Capitol in the distance. Included breakfasts in the atrium were great! The custom omelets were done to perfection by Ronnie. The rest of the fare (bacon, sausage, juices, coffee, fruit, muffins, bread, etc.) was fresh and tasty. There was plenty of seating for a fairly robust morning crowdstaff bussed tables quickly as people finished.
The free happy hour was also a plus, but the snacks and dinner menu left me unimpressed.
We find Embassy Suites to be a good balance of price and quality and seek them out during our travels.
This hotel is within walking distance (not exceptionally close, but still not unbearably far kind of walking distance) of downtown, sixth street, etc. The rooms were spacious and had the expected essentials. Lobby was clean and comfortable. Staff was attentive and helpful. On-site parking was included, which was a nice bonus. Continental breakfast was great with a good amount of variety. Another perk was happy hour from 5-7 every night, which offered complimentary cocktails, draft beer, wine, and snacks at the bar.
