We had a conference at this location and the service was exceptional. The location is walking distance to local attractions, restaurants, so it was a good location. Enjoy Austin, music and BBQ. The city has plenty to offer and the hotel just made it easier to work and still had a little time to play. Do a little research ahead of time to make the best of it. I wish I had more time to spend, would like to go back to this location again!

The Hyatt is an Austin original. Great restaurant and bar and walking distance to almost everything Austin. Whether it's shopping at the Yeti store or watching the Congress Avenue bridge bats. Not to mention thread girls world headquarters restaurant is just across the way. The Hyatt also offers a great parking venue, in their garage, Another place with a great view, from the top floor.

I stayed overnight and attended a professional meeting. The room was very nice. It was clean and had no maintenance issues. Our meeting room and supporting a.v. equipment worked well for our meetings. The hotel is right on the river with scenic views of downtown Austin. I'd recommend the hotel for over night stays or meetings.

Great hotel. Nothing crazy to boast about as everything was as expected, nothing disappointed.
To get 5 stars I would've liked to see something more interesting in terms of the decorating, as it is advertised as a 'luxury' hotel.
Staff were helpful and friendly, the available amenities that could be ordered to the room was extremely extensive!
Cannot comment on the breakfast as I was not eating there.
All in all a nice stay, but nothing extraordinary. The glass elevator is a nice touch.response / report this review -

I really enjoy coming out here. Super family-friendly, with tons of activities for kids. The food in all of the restaurants is quite good. Call ahead for the food theme that night, and don't eat anything before you go - you want to have room for the dessert table. The upstairs restaurant is very nice, and makes a great date night. Give yourself time to stroll the grounds.

Very nice hotel. Only complaints was the after hour room service food was not great and to get the shower going you had to get blasted with cold water. Loved the bathroom mirror with the back lighting. Loved the inside glass elevators. Beautiful property that is located in a great area.

This is a great hotel for the price. It's on the river, a short walk over the bridge from downtown, and near South Congress what where there are many local restaurants and shops. The lobby is spacious and comfortable. The mezzanine includes fine rooms for small conferences.

I absolutely loved staying here. I was in town for a convention at the Palmer Event Center, and my mother and I stayed at this hotel for the duration.
The accommodations were very nice, and the room was made up every day. There is a coffee maker and a fridge in the room, but sadly, no microwave. All in all, not a big deal.
Lets get to the food in the hotel! The restaurant (both of them) were so delicious. If you stay here, I would recommend going to breakfast in the morning and getting an omelette. The cook is phenomenal!
I would highly recommend anyone stay here, and I will be back next year!response / report this review -

My husband and I made a reservation for A king balcony river view room. First, the view was amazing. However, when we arrived we had to wait almost an hour past check in time for our room to be ready. The room itself is nice. You are definitely paying for the beautiful view and balcony. Wish the balcony had lighting. It's a beautiful hotel overall.

The Hyatt Regency feels like a new hotel. However, it was revamped just a while ago. A few restaurants, including a sushi bar, in the lobby. Live music on and around the weekends. Friendly staff, and great views if you get a river view room. Parking is expensive, with it being $24 per night for self-parking and 35 for valet, but it's competitive for the area. Less than 5 minutes from the "bat bridge". Nice but small pool with drink and food service. Rooms are of similar size to other competing hotels in the area, but feel clean and updated. Large TV, fantastic bathroom amenities, and the best shower I've seen in Texas.response / report this review -

Enjoyed the stay therehotel backs up to the river and dinner on the patio was very nice. The three conference breakfasts and lunch were excellent! The building/room temperature got a little chilly particularly in the morning but overall it was very comfortable. For one who is usually very cold at conferences this was a very pleasant change!

Was just in for a drink at the bar. The service was pretty standard, but the atmosphere is amazing. What really stood out was the valets when we first got there. Top Notch service. I believe the young man we dealt with was named Brian. One of the best valet experiences I've ever had
