If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around
I had an amazing stay at the W Austin!
They really treat their preferred guests well! I am only Gold, but got an upgrade to a suite + 15% off room service, etc. Folks there are super nice and considerate.
In addition, they really went beyond the call of duty - my only dress shirt lost a button and they helped me sew it back late at night in just an hour. I was giving a speech the next morning, so they really saved me!

Booked a cool corner suite with a balcony for our wedding night 3 months ago requesting early check in- they could not provide that (not their fault, if people are still in their rooms) so we checked in at the end of our night (around 1:30am) they said they upgraded our suite, which turned out to be a suite with 2 bedrooms and no balcony. Wanted the balcony, not the second bedroom. Called down and asked to be downgraded so we could have the balcony we wanted, but it wasn’t available. Was told we should be happy about the upgrade. I asked to speak the manager, but apparently, I already was speaking to her. boo. Not cool.

Nice modern classy hotel. Came here for a wedding and had a blast. Drinks were solid and not too weak. The food is okay but imo that's not what you're really paying for here. You're paying for an awesome room in the heart of Austin freaking Texas! But seriously step up the quality of the food W. Still had a delightful time.

Nice Hotel. Big rooms. I really like it. I think of jumping into the pool from my balcony. Really appreciate this place.
Also the view is great.
As not have a booking with breakfast I can't tell about that.
The bathroom and bath has reasonable sizes. Not the all available American big bowls. :-)

Love the location, service, and views from the room. The rooms are also funky (in a cool way) and very modern. Only reason for 4* over 5* is that I wish they had more lounge areas that weren't a hardcore night club. I fully understand the W's core market and what they go for, but it would be nice to have some chilled out area as well. Overall, really like the property and its location overall.

I had a great rate and was upgraded, probably because I'm a gold SPG member. The room I ended up in was the cool corner suite, which was amazing, especially for what I paid. I looked at the full rate and I cannot say I would pay it, even though I loved the room.
All the couches were really comfortable, as was the bed. Some nice little touches, like sticky tape, stapler, needle and thread, just in case. The minimalistic style was refreshing. I never thought minimalist and luxury would go so well together.
Gym is huge, but does not have a regular elliptical machine, which is the one I usual use. Alternatives were nothing to complain about though.response / report this review -

My home away from home. I adore boutique type hotels like this. Front desk staff are always so accommodating to my every need. The bathrooms are great too. I secretly wish I could live here. Thank you W!

The staff makes you feel welcome and honestly the valet are the best! I felt incredibly taken care of by the valet. They went out of their way to accommodate me. (Love my car so I'm extremely thankful).

The hotel is really nice. The pool is chill, a great spot to hang out. Our room was very clean and stylish, with a surprisingly large bathroom. The bed was comfortable, but I do wish the pillows were firmer, that is the only thing I'd change. The staff is very friendly and helpful, room service food was delicious.

I always stay here when I can. The staff are very friendly and helpful and it's usually quiet here. Great views and the rooms are super clean. I absolutely love staying here! Photos are for the cozy room.

Attended a wedding last night. Beautiful Decor, the BEST WEDDING FOOD EVER! If you are considering this as an option, HUGE HIT!!! Tenderloin, Salmon, amazing. Thank for nice valets too, Young Arab man always so professional (sorry, forgot his name). Dr. K

When I'm in Austin I normally like to stay here. I used 21,500 points to stay here using my Star Wood Points. This time round i had such an awful stay. I don't know what happened but I must of had the party floor. All night people were slamming their doors and loud as heck outside. When i finally did get some sleep, room service kept waking me up every 30 minutes. Though i had a do not disturb sign on my door. Just an awful experience. i am in the process of contacting the BBB about this matter.

Spa/Pool day. The massage was great and it was nice to be able to sit in a cabana and enjoy the rest of the day afterwards. If you want a cabana, there is a food/drink minimum of $500. Our server Robert went above and beyond - he was the BEST! Food selection is much better in the bar or restaurant downstairs. Get a bottle of bubbly (or two) and enjoy.

You pay for the name if you stay here I think. The rooms are pretty small, although clean. The beds were comfortable and we had a decent view but I'm not sure I would spend the money to stay here a second time so overpriced. But the restaurant on the first floor is remarkable!
