Rebecca, Emily, and Ben helped my family a great deal during a very difficult time. They were very accommodating and offered to help us in any way. I will never forget their hospitality. In the future there is no guessing where I will stay when I'm in town.

The experience was overall pleasant. Although the room wasn't very big, it absolutely gets the job done. Other than some very minor cosmetic issues, that I'm sure were specific to only my room, and the eyesore of a view due to construction, the entire time spent was amazing. Helpful and accommodating staff as well as a variety of food options a block away. Never had to drive, everything you would need in walking distance.

Checked me in early and checked me out late. The treated me like family and I loved it here. Head hit the pillow at 10pm and I slept like the dead not hearing another person all night. Just a great experience.

Nice hotel. The rooms are a bit old but in well repair. The walk in closet is awesome.
It is more "run down" than I am use to seeing.

Great stay!!! Benjamin (supervisor) at the front desk provided the best experience for a diamond member possible!!! Alexis at the lounge was great! Very talkative and great at her job!! Both made a diamond member feel welcome!! This is not what I normally experience as a diamond!!!! Kudos to both team members of the DoubleTree hotel!!!

We have stayed at this hotel many times and each time leave saying the same thing, "we are never staying here again", but yet here we are again. The only reason we return is their location for all that we are in town for. You can't beat the metro access which is why it gets 2 stars.. The restaurants around the corner are family friendly and their suites accommodate our family of 5. However the hotel itself is garbage. Elevators are broken and have been for months. The rooms are worn with filthy furniture, rock hard mattresses, and sub par bathrooms. The front desk staff is not welcoming and slow to correct issues. In the future we will look for 2 rooms at a competing hotel rather than the suite. It just isn't worth it anymore.

Rooms are great! The 2-room king suite we got has two full bathrooms. That is really nice! I will recommend this place to anyone for business or pleasure. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because it has no self parking, and no buffet breakfast

Room smell bad, no towels at the pool had to go up to my room to get towels. It smelled moist in the room which gave me a headache. No heat in the summer the room was freezing. The air was on its was storming outside so we turn the air off and it was still cold. No microwave or refrigerator. You have to pay for one which didn't work took forever to get cold. Bathroom was old and out dated th
Rusted and tube peeling. Ice only two floors. The air quality horrible we call got little gold. When u walk on the floors you g to your room the carpet STINKS it smell like the have never empty the vacuum bag. It smelled dirty and old.

Not the best location if you are driving and need to park without valet parking or understating local parking rules. Even visiting local municipality parking rules were not clear. Lack of a refrigerator in my room lost a star. Otherwise, my accommodation was good.

For the price paid I've stayed in much better places. Due to the location the price I guess is justified. There was paint missing in the room, rust spots on the door in the bathroom, and wallpaper beginning to peal back in a few locations. The service however was great and the lobby clean.

Upon my arrival i had went to check the sights surrounding the hotel with my wife and 2 daughters, i had had begun to enter my room and on top of the queen sized bed where 2 homeless people scavenging for supplies and i had ran my family out of the room and the homeless men ran out of the room screaming "no one will tickle my toes!" as he was removing his pants and flashing my kids with his genitals.Truly a terrible and unacceptable experience. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Check in went great, then after I returned from shopping , I turned on the lights to find blood stains on the sheets of the bed. TOTALLY DISGUSTING AND UNACCEPTABLE. I immediately called for the manager to come look at it. They assured they would send someone up with keys to another room, but I insisted the manager come see with their own eyes. We were moved to a different room where the manager waited to see if the room was up to standard, and would you know, MORE STAINS ON THE BEDDING!!!! I was so angry I started shaking. She took the bedding with her this time and promised to replace it. Also offered a refund.
How sloppy and DISGUSTING of the staff to allow such a thing in multiple room. I will never stay at a double tree again.
