Nice hotel, nice room, comfy bed, great staff, & convenient to bars, restaurants, & stores. Not only would I stay again and again but I would recommend to EVERYONE
Great stay. Comfortable bed. Hospitable staff. Short walk from the metro. Plenty of places to stop for food. I look forward to staying there every time I venture down to Bethesda
It was small and quiet which was definitely a plus. The room looked a bit dated. Some renovations would benefit this hotel. Overall good experience though.
Hotel is clean, quiet and has very friendly staff. Excellent choice in a area filled with overpriced options. Worth every penny.
Our AC in the first room didn't work. They did put us in a new room, but much smaller. We put the do not disturb sign up the next day and they still cleaned the room. The breakfast area is laughably small and can only seat about 6 people "uncomfortably." parking costs extra. I will say that staff are very courteous and friendly, which was more than I can say for most hotels.
Sadly, I wish I can comment on the hotel's cleanliness and things of that nature, but I didn't even get to stay at the hotel. I booked through a third-party website and cancelled through them within the appropriate time slot. Somehow the cancellation did not go through because of a system glitch. So, I was charged $223 dollars by the hotel for not showing up to my reservation. The third-party website got in touch with the hotel explaining the situation and the hotel manager, Brandon, refused to refund me or find a just solution. I spoke to the staff on the phone and they seemed to be understanding of my situation, but they were so limited with what they could do. Sadly, only the hotel manager was capable of issuing a refund, but he did not care about my circumstances. Never will I encourage my friends and family who decide to visit me in DC to stay here. The worst service I've encountered in a while.
Quaint and the price was right (prepay online). Certainly not a Hilton or a Hyatt, but not a Motel 6, either perhaps more like a Best Western. Free bottled water and chocolate on check-in. Helpful friendly staff. Would stay again.
Very nice rooms and customer service. Breakfast and hotel lobby area could be better but otherwise, nice hotel.
Always a pleasure staying here. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and ideal location for downtown Bethesda and Metro station.
Clean and functional. Undergoing a renovation process to modernize the look and feel. Renovations over 90% finished. Building construction limits additional changes. If you'd like a bit more room, call and ask for it during reservation. 1/2 of the rooms are a bit bigger, including a tub in the bathroom. The other half only have a shower. The entire block in Bethesda will soon be demolished, so there's not incentive to continue modernizing.
Love this hotel. The staff is the best I stay there once a year and when I walk in they remember me as I walk in the door. If I was the personal mgr for my company there I would snatch them up in a 💓.
The rooms here are standard rooms, nothing special but perfectly adequate. Parking is $15 per night which I think is too much. They have a laundry room but it smells horrible. Considering the location, it is a decent choice, but that's about it.
