A really nice quiet place to stay. Everyone is friendly, the service is great. Everything you need, only issue is TGIFridays is attached, but nevertheless there are some good to great restaurants nearby!
Nice place with a welcoming staff. Good rooms. Mine had an awesome shower! Wish the pillows we're better than the typical stuffed with feathers style.
Warm, tasty cookies as always. Friendly staff and good amenities. Good location near Biltmore Village. Room wasn't perfectly clean, but acceptable.
Stayed there a bunch. They are one of the best hotels in Asheville from a chain perspective. Only small complaint is they have a small workout facility for the size of their hotel. Otherwise it is greatfood is good, location is close to downtown Asheville. Employees are very nice and accommodating.
Small room, no fridge. Friendly staff until we checked out, and discovered that we had been given incorrect info from the moment we made our reservations. On top of that, the person who checked us out said she was a manager and would fix our complaint. Doubletree's response is that there is no female manager, so it seems that all of them are less than honest. They respond to bad reviews, but it's just an online post to make it appear that they care. They don't follow up and they don't care. Too bad there is no option for no stars. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Great location! Clean, good amenities, and friendly staff. They even bake fresh cookies every day!!
Very friendly. Offered travel tips. Grounds were lovely. However, house keeping was sloppy. Beds were made sloppy. Spilled coffee on the wall when we got there and was there when we left. Towels were scratchy and thin. Coffee provided in room. Never enough for us asked and they brought extra packs. No free continental breakfast like other chains. Breakfast buffet $12 was very good. The gimmick free warm cookies on arrival. Ask for a cookies for the ride home. Shuttle service nice amenity however Biltmore will not let them on premises. Plan accordingly.
Another great Hilton property! We only stayed overnight, but it was a good stay. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The property is nice and right off the highway. The building has awesome artwork and and displays. There is a beautiful garden in the center of the property, we had a 2nd floor room so not much of a view, but it was very pleasant to walk through. The rooms were standard and clean. I would stay here again.
Had reservation for two nights with king.
After checking in, room had two double beds.
Went back to front desk to question this.
My conformation was for king bed. Clerk checked and said yes it was but the king room had a plumbing problem. I really feel they sold my room to someone else for more money because I had a cheaper rate. Really disappointed with this Hilton hotel.
Staff is very hospitable, rooms are well appointed. Nice exercise room (including some free weights). Hot tub is large, but not very comfortableno way to get your upper back into the water comfortably (I'm 6ft). Hotel layout is a bit weird, and I never found a hotel property map anywhere in my room, so we had to wander a little to find some amenities. Bottom line: I WOULD stay here again.
We stayed here for three nights, using points. Staff at front desk was excellent - professional, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was delicious - buffet scrambled eggs were real scrambled eggs, bacon thick, maple sausage, good grits, and yummy danish area. Omelette to order was also great. The view was advertised as having a view of Biltmore Forest, which is technically true. More truthful was view of parking lot and the trees that surround it, technically of Biltmore Forest. Also I think we have different understanding of what a "suite" is. Room was spacious, but not a suite, as advertised. Not in description was the food delivery truck around 6:00 on Fri and the garbage truck at same time on Sat. Also, not able to get a glass of wine to have in room with our supper without doing it via room service, which would have put a $20 price tag for two glasses. We probably will stay here again but without extra pay-out for upgraded room.
Nice hotel, but found it lacking on the little things for a place that charges so much per night. Had to ask for blankets and a mini fridge, though they did bring them. Conference halls were very nice and the staff was exceptionally friendly. Food provided for the seminar was good, can't recommend the coffee though. Lots of other places in town, would stay at another place on next visit.
Have been here 3 out of the past 4 years for a convention bringing 8 -12 people. We get 2-3 rooms and the staff always seems to be able to keep us close. Service is typically fast and courteous. I typically have had no issues and the couple of issues this year are not related to the room or service. This year there were some issues with the men's room in the conference areas. Running out of supplies was the chief issue. Parking was another. However, I still highly recommend this location.
