Hot breakfast good, attentive staff, clean facilities, great office area. Outdoor pool too cold in Dec; but hey it's December. Popcorn in room, free reindeer water, all very nice touches. 5/5 Would stay again.

We were there for the Rock 'n Roll race weekend. Lindsey at front desk was awesome. She helped us check in earlier and provided information for the race. Room was clean. (They forgot to put toiletries but brought those in as soon as we mentioned). Breakfast was open early for the runners and well stock and staffed. Bananas were filled right away when the basket seemed low. Staff cleaned up the tables constantly. Location is close enough to the start and finish line and not too far from Alamo and Riverwalk. All in all, we loved our stay there and will definitely go back again if we run next year. Recommend to everyone (even if you're not running for the race)!

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff was the best trained and most friendly hotel staff I've experienced. They were always kind and quick to respond to your presence. Rooms were clean and well taken care of. The free breakfast buffet was very good and had many options. Free coffee, tea and hot chocolate 24/7 in the restaurant area. We'll be staying Residence Inns much more frequently now

Location is perfect. Right in downtown San Antonio near the river walk and the Alamo. Even the convention center is in walking distance. The service was great but the bed was a bit too soft for my taste. All in all a great experience.

This is a fantastic Hotel! Easily within walking distance of anything in downtown and more affordable than the hotels that are just two or three blocks away. The staff here is also incredibly courteous and eager to make your experience great!

Quick walk past The Alamo to Riverwalk. Nice rooms and friendly staff. Plan to stay here again.

Hotel staff went above and beyond! I informed the front desk that we were celebrating our sons birthday. I mentioned to them that he specifically asked for this hotel so he could see the horse carriages. They accommodated us with the perfect view. Plus, as soon as we checked in our room surprised us with a gift and balloons for our son. Seeing the smile on his face was priceless.

Very nice option for business travelers or families who want more room to spread out. My room was a large one bedroom, with a spacious living room, kitchen, and bathroom. The staff was great and the hotel seems fresh and up to date. Conviently located a block from the Alamo and a few blocks from the convention center. Parking is $24 a day (self park and valet are the same price), but that's probably similar for most downtown hotels.

The location is an easy walk to the river and the Alamo. Check in was fast , thanks to the Marriott app. Our room was upgraded to a two bedroom and bathroom suite for free. Free breakfast and wifi are nice perks that made for a nice visit. I was happy with everything about the stay.

The staff were always polite, welcoming, and helpful!
The rooms were perfect for my family and I! Plenty of space and we loved how it felt more like a home than a hotel!
The complimentary breakfast was wonderful, with plenty of options for every type of eater!
The hotel was close to everything we wanted to do in San Antonio, TX! It was within walking distance of The Alamo, The River Walk (which had hundreds of shops, restaurants, and entertainment!), Movie Theaters, and much, much more!!

Had a great stay at the Residence Inn over Memorial Day weekend. Despite a full house the staff were on top of things and very helpful. Rooms were clean, comfortable and modern. Would gladly stay there again.

We arrived after check out time to be told that our room was not ready. We informed the person at the desk that we had an event that we needed to get ready to attend. I understand that at times rooms aren't ready; however, the clerk did not seem too concerned that we were in a time crunch. We eventually took a room other than what had been requested so that we could arrive at our event in a timely fashion. On a positive note, the bed was comfy and the breakfast staff was delightful.

Friendly, knowledgable staff. Rooms are nicely sized and the kitchenette includes a small fridge with freezer (not a bar fridge), stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and a sink. Bathrooms featured a lovely vanity separate from the bathtub/shower and toilet (which are in a small room). Free breakfast is provided every morning in the lobby complete with a make-your-own waffle station.

Short walk to several attractions such as the mall, River Walk, Alamo, and Ripley's. Decent walk to the Henry B Gonzalez convention centre. Immediate area is a little sketchy with a Christian Outreach Ministry nearby (across the adjacent Church Parking lot). This is more noticeable at night and you should watch out for panhandlers near the mall.

Overall we enjoy staying at this hotel and would recommend it.

Very spacious, clean, and a great value if traveling with kids and want some semi privacy (we had the 1 bedroom suite with the privacy double doors, kid slept on the pull out couch). Came with two stove top burners (no oven thought), microwave, and full size fridge, and all the cookware you need for 4 guest. The valet parking cost the exact same as self parking ($24 a night) and the drive up is very small (fits a max of three cars at a time). Which makes checking in a slow process on a busy street. Customer service could be friendlier, less rude, and racial profiling for the night shift (morning staff was humorous, friendly, and very accommodating). Night shift staff barely looked up to greet anyone nor attempt to be helpful. I noticed that Caucasian customers were immediately assisted while all others were rudely skipped and harshly greeted. Weird and vastly uncommon behavior for San Antonio. The breakfast buffet was kept well stocked (even close to closing time, very impressive) and offered a pleasing variety with impeccable cleanliness.
