The hotel is obviously older but it appears the employees care about the building and updates are in progress. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was so convenient. All day coffee. The view and beach access were incredible!!!

Everything we needed for a low budget getaway. $80 a night for free parking, wifi in room and at the beach, breakfast, fridge and microwave. Not the fanciest but it was great walking right out to the beach and being able to make lunch and put our kid to nap seamlessly without having to mess with the car at all. Love it- we extended our stay an extra night and plan to come again with whole family

Overall we had a great stay. Our only complaints were all very minor. The whole place could really use a makeover, especially the rooms. They did do some painting outside and in the lobby while we were there. Our door out to the balcony was a little wonky. The lock got stuck once but fortunately we brought pliers. Be specific when you make your reservations as all the rooms are not the same. Ours only had a coffee pot, full sized fridge, and microwave scattered around the room in the way of a "kitchen" but the room next door had an actual small kitchen (same 2 queen beds). We also had asked for a walk in shower for my mother but they only have them on the ground floor. Then we were told our room has one but it just doesn't have bars. It has a bar but it's a tub/shower. Fortunately it was low enough for her to step over. We didn't have housekeeping come but we did run into one woman who was on our floor. She offered to take our trash and give us sheets and towels. The pool was nice and has 2 waterfalls and a hot tub. The hot tub wasn't very hot but the whole area has a beautiful view. There is a bar by the pool but the hours aren't posted and when we were there around 1-3pm it wasn't open. The breakfast is free but not spectacular. Toast, oatmeal, "eggs" with the choice of adding salsa, cheese, and bacon bits, yogurt, bananas, coffee, biscuits and ok gravy, light and fit yogurt, milk, cereal, juice, and water with orange slices. There are many shops, restaurants, and attractions all close by. We had a great time at Zoo World with Chase and Lynn the giraffes. I will definitely be back in the future!

We stayed 4 nights here in Oct. Due to hurricane we cancelled in orange beach and changed to PCB days inn. Nothing modern about this place. We tried to make the best of the trip. Worst place ever! Parking was horrible, one of the elevators was out, problems with air, sink was very slow draining, mold in bathroom, there were pets and smokers even saying no pets , no smokers. But the worst was no hot water. Only lukewarm or cold shower for 4 days. Getting clean linens was unbelievable! The only good thing was the view from balcony . Never stay here again and probably never a Days Inn again!

A great place to stay. I would recommend this place to everyone. My husband had a hard time breathing I called front desk and ask them to call 911. They sent their security team and called for me. They took care of everything. I want to thank them very much. I was their on September 18 2017.

Nice place for something right at the beach under 100 bucks. (Off season) Not an upscale place but a decent 3 star hotel.
Very decent rooms, very nice pool area, i had no issue as far as clean rooms and stuff working properly. I was very satisfied.response / report this review -

Great place for the price! Loved the 6 story waterfall spilling into the saltwater pool. The grotto was perfect for getting out of the sun yet still letting the little ones enjoy the pool. Breakfast is complementary but with all good things there was a line. They had a movie with free pizza, popcorn, cookies and juice for the little ones by the pool at night. The mermaids and pirate were magical and my 5 year old granddaughter was in her own fairytale . We go to the beach often and this place is where she wants to live! It is a very busy place and they do a good job of trying to keep up with all of the many guests with their different agendas.

This place has decent accommodations at an okay price. They sometimes jack up the rates so it can be a little pricey. Overall, it has great views. Since the design of the hotel is curved, ask for a room on the eastern end of the hotel if you want good sunset views. If you prefer sunrises, ask for a room on the western end which is closer to the pool. The parking is horrible. That's my only complaint. It is usually full so you have to park across the street in the overflow parking lot. It's not glamorous and the free breakfast sucks in terms of taste and quality but it's a beachfront room without all the extra parking or cleaning fees the condos charge.

Great Views, a good bit of parking, there is parking below the street parking lot. The pool is very nice- surprisingly nice actually. A good value, the room we stayed in on the 3rd floor had tile floors. The 1st floor does not have private balconies. The beach walkway has a shower pad to wash after you get back off the beach. It's close to everything as well. Check online prices, and their Sunday night rate is good too. Family friendly pool, they pack a lot into this small property!

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE. Me and my family were only there for three day during spring break. The first day I saw a roach in the room. The beach view, was a big pipe in front of us, which we had to climb over to get to the ocean. On the beach was dirty beer cans, cups and other items. I had my two grandchildren and did not want them on the beach. Also, there was chemical smell in the air. Second day we were tired when we came back to the room. Our room was half cleaned, beds half made, floor dirty and towels not picked up. Third night we decided to go to the pool, when all this styrofoam came down like snow all over the place, in the pool, floor, hot tub and all over us, pool was dirty. I called the front desk, she said she was not aware of it and she would call back. She said it was coming from the construction next door. I was not aware of any construction when I book the hotel. I spoke to the general manager and he said he would find out about it the next day, but some of the styrofoam was in the pool the day before. We spoke awhile about the situation, and I explained that the foam was all over my grandchildren. He started to get very rude, and said, what do you want me to do bathe your kids. This manager really does not show that he cares about his guests or the hotel. We paid $189 a night to stay in the dump. We did not even get a chance to check out, this is another story.

Absolutely disgusting hotel! I wish I could get a refund. Rooms appeared to be nice until we turned the sheets down and noticed blood stains not on just one of the beds but both! Pillows had sweat stains on them too. There was also a cockroach in our room! Walk outside to enjoy the ocean view and all you smell is weed! Not something I want my child around. The pool was freezing cold, not heated as advertised and the hot tub was so full of people you couldn't even get in. You can't bring your cooler to the pool area because they require you to buy their crappy drinks from the bar. The breakfast was crap too! Same thing every day."cheese omlet," biscuits and gravy, cereal and watered down juice. I have never complained about a hotel in my life but this place was HORRIBLE!!!

Was a great place! Beach front but the beach was closed the weekend we was there and they still charged us beach front price . Wasn't worth the noise or not being able to walk out the hotel to the beach. Had to walk to public beach or up to almost 2 miles just to get to a spot to sit ! They worked all through the night so it was very loud and not what a beach experience is supposed to be like. Normally I can stay beach front with window or doors open to sleep to the sounds of the waves. Not this weekend and I'm very disappointed

Absolutely horrible. I will never stay at a days inn because of this one again. We have stayed at days inn for years. What we expected from the amazing comercial and videos online compared to construction, nasty men smoking walking down the halls working and staring at her, Minimal parking from the construction material, and loud pressure washing on the building in the morning. If I knew or had a warning that all of this would have been going on we would have gladly canceled. In our room half of it was painted HALF OF THE ROOM!!!! The table top was cut too short also so it looked absolutely horrible. The pool was closed for half of our trip also. I wish I could give this a zero because I was absolutely amazed at how crummy the "hotel of the year" actually is.

Best value on beach. Came down for long weekend in January. Was warm enough to swim.74°. came back again Superbowl weekend before off season prices ended. Great stay despite construction. Heated pool, super hot jacuzzi. Great view, great staff. Gave us late check-out and we're very helpful. We will be back soon
