My flight, along with many others out of Atlanta, was cancelled due to weather. While waiting in line to reschedule my flight, I reserved a room for this Days Inn. I had already tapped on reserve, and had just finished filling out my info, when I was notified that the price had just gone from &116, to $134. A little price gouging, perhaps? Being unfamiliar with the area, I called the motel to find out about an airport shuttle. The call went directly to a recording that instructed you to go to zone 1 pick up area, and dial zero for pick up. I called 4 times, and pressed zero. No one ever answered the phone. I finally took a cab, which cost me $20 for a 2 mile trip. Really? Turns out they have a shuttle, but it doesn’t say that on the recording, and no one answered the phone to tell me that! The flight was cancelled due to a winter storm, so you can imagine what the weather was like. The guy at the desk gave me 3 key cards to 3 different rooms, none of which had sheets on the beds. The rooms are outside. I had to drag my heavy suitcase back and forth each time to say that yet again, a room was not ready. The 4th one finally had beds that were made up. One of the worst experiences ever.
This was the worst experience ever. Rude staff and false add to get you in. Came in after a 9 hour drive 30 minutes early was told when booked that wasnt an issue got there and had to wait till exactly 3 to check in. When booked I was told it was 2 queen bed in room but to my surprise there was 2 smaller than normal full size bed. The rooms look nothing like the ones on the pictures. There was writing all on the walls and doors as if a child was just free to doodle. Called front desk and they did nothing but said they would note my account. There were roaches and hair left in the bath room. Very poorly cleaned. Asked for another room was told they were booked. asked for a refund was told it was after my cancellation time. I had to go buy bud spray cleaning supplies and clean myself. i asked for more sheets because hair was in the bed. The planes are so loud and comes in every 10 to 20 minutes non stop. I wish I knew about this place before time because I would've not waste my time! DONT WASTE ANY MONEY WITH THIS LOCATION. Never ever again
Rooms were clean but stains on carpet. Little outdated but I'm only there to sleep so not an issue. Location was little iffy with the unlit side road it was on and the airplanes taking off right over the hotel. They offer free shuttle to the Airport. Didn't have time for breakfast sadly but smelled good.
Decent, affordable, clean rooms. No frills. All the basics are there. 6-9 Meatless Continental Breakfast Is better than nothing. They don't pretend to be anything other than a decent and safe place to crash.
I wish I was able to post pictures, but I have bed bug bites all over my body! Legs, arms, elbows, wrist, back! EVERYWHERE! I was in Atlanta for pride and Labor Day this weekend and this was the only hotel available. Me and two other friends shared a room and were all bitten. Its ridiculous! PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!
I like the king size room only thing I wish the bed was a little bit comfortable it's kind of stiff but it's ok. My wife and I have stay there and I haven't really had no problems since the last time I came here. I wish they would have some real hot water and not that I'm warm now then hot later it's kind of crazy. Everything is up to date and u do get room service here. I would recommend this place to anybody who wants to stay here especially if u need to get to the airport because they have a shuttle that will take you there
Friendly Staff, Clean Room, Yummy Breakfast. No complaints whatsoever. Yeah you can hear airplanes, but hardly so and it didn't even bother me that much considering they're so conveniently close to the airport allowing for a free shuttle!! Will stay again!!
Clean rooms and bathrooms.
Free complimentary breakfast in morning.
Raided by airplanes above. If you are like me you wont mind.
Near to airport. That's why I chose it.
Staff was good.
Loved the stay.
Rude staff in the office and lazy room cleaning. Isolated location is over a mile from most everything. I'm a home renovator and the room reminded me of section 8 housing. Standard breakfast hours. Always low on (or out of) coffee, whole milk, and waffle batter. Vending machines weren't very well stocked. Parking was so bad on the weekend that I had to park in handicap spots quite a distance from my room. Cheaper than the other places nearby; I guess I got what I paid for
1.5*/5*
Planes flyoverhead frequently and are very loud. However it is very close to the airport (less than 5 minutes). Also has an airport shuttle which is nice. Rooms are about what youd expect from a days inn.
Quick and easy. Needed room for the night and parking for the weekend. Great shuttle service as well
Great location for airport. Room had nice paint, bedspread, TV, microwave, mini fridge. Breakfast had a few choices and good. When pulled in was a little worried about location but turned out just fine. Yes planes fly right over and was cool to see so close.
This Days Inn is very decent, clean and accommodating. 10 min to ATL. Airport.. if you need to visit restaurants or whatever, have a good GPS. There are a few hot pocket areas that you wouldn't want to be lost in. The hotel it self is budget friendly and staff is great. If the noise of over flying planes bothers you, then get further away from airport. Otherwise, it's great.
