The rates are low and you get what you pay for. The rooms (furniture and electronics) haven't been updated since '93, the walls are in dire need of repair with peeling paint and wallpaper, the bathroom could use the same attention. Breakfast is free but very limited to mostly carbs and coffee (bread, donuts, cereal, oatmeal) no fruit or meat. Not a good place if you're a light sleeper. There is ZERO noise barrier between the rooms (the guy next door snores) and the outside world (the military folks across the street shoot blanks really early in the morning). Also, no A/C - it's constant heat - so the bathroom window stays open to cool the room off. The location is great and very close to everything within a few miles.

"Free wifi" is horribly slow (0.36mbps download). Amazing shower pressure though! *Rooms have NO A/C* You have to use the bathroom window for cool air and hope a bird doesn't fly in.. Breakfast consists of bagels, oatmeal, cereal, coffee, milk, etc. (No waffle maker). Nice breakfast seating though. Location is close to lots of places, but the downside is heavy (and loud) traffic. Light sleepers avoid. TV is straight out of the 90s (no flat screen), but it works with good channel selection. Beds were clean.

Positive - they accommodated me at last minute, breakfast is ok, nice staff, great water pressure in shower.
Negative - my room did not have air, heat, microwave, fridge nothing. I had nothing to drown out the noise.
The partiers next door woke me at 2:30 a.m. Fighting about why they got kicked out of the club. I had to call front desk at 3:05 a.m. to make it stop.
Horrible. Horrible experience. I was a single woman traveling alone. I did not feel safe. Worst hotel stay for me, ever.response / report this review -

The hotel was very outdated. The television was still an old tube style. Haven't seen them in years. The bathroom was really old, however the water pressure I the shower was fantastic

We made a last minute trip to surprise my grandfather who was getting honored. We were pleasantly surprised to find a hotel so close and reasonably priced at last minute. The staff is very friendly and accomadating and the room wasn't anything to brag about, but it was clean, there's a tv, mini fridge and microwave. Iron/ironing board, and hair dryer. There is great water pressure for the shower. There is not a safe in the room but there are lock boxes available at the front desk. There is an outdoor pool in the summer (so closed now) and there is a nice complimentary morning breakfast cafe available. There is a few tour buses that stop at the hotel and the staff at the hotel reccomended one after hearing where all we wanted to visit. My only complaint about the hotel is the wifi. You need a password to get on and after you get off for a minute, it makes you log back on, so it doesn't stay connected. I find that a bit annoying as I do most of my Internet browsing on my phone. Other than that our stay was great!

Unfortunately We stayed for 6 nights in this place. The bathtub was clogged, I reported 3 times but who cares. Night shift receptionist was very rude. I asked him for a microwave but he said we don't provide a microwave in this place. He lied, because I checked some other rooms and they had a microwave.
The Internet was very very VERY slow. They gave me a number for technical support but It didn't work and I never had a good connection during my staying.
They said, the shuttle driver will pick you up at 3 but me and my 2 kids ( 3 and 2 years old) had to wait in rain for half an hour. After 2 phone calls he finally showed up, however I was about to take a taxi.
One star just for location, other than that I don't recommend it at all.response / report this review -

It's an old-time Hotel from the seventies. However I am very happy with the maid service. And there continental breakfast is good. No real weight room to speak of, and you have to be out of the pool by 8

This place was okay. If you're looking for somewhere cheap to stay it's not bad for the price. The breakfast is decent with bread, donuts, cereal, and oatmeal. The rooms are clean but only half the plugs work. The AC stopped working after 3 days but they gave us a new room. If you're looking for somewhere to just spend the night then this place is perfect. If you're looking to spend time in the room or want a nice luxury hotel stay away.

Management/owner could use some freshening up on his people skills and friendliness , and the only plus is the convenient location , otherwise, let this be your last resort for a place to stay because it is just not to standards of a Days Inn in 2017 within minutes of the capital. Terrible presentation. The outlets are all garbage , everything outdated , breakfast is better at a gas station . oh , and the picture of the pool is very deceiving , it actually is tiny compared to the representative picture , and almost forgot, lock everything and no personal belongings to be left in cars, 5 minutes into checking in, there was police activity

Came for the Victoria day weekend (Canadian holiday) and was hoping for a decent stay considering it was 200+/night between the 4 of us. I'm a pretty easygoing traveler but there were some glaring issues. Firstly, many of the outlets were burnt out and unusable which made phone charging an issue. Second, the breakfast was very underwhelming. I know it's free, but it was much less value than I've gotten at several other Days Inns in other parts of the country. The staff were friendly which was the main redeeming quality.

I understand this hotel is on the lower end of the scale. But it looks like a straight up motel. Carpet stained, tub did not look right. My partner said I am not taking a shower in here. I echoed his sentiments. Bathroom was not up to par. Everything just looked dirty and unkept. I can deal with a place being old but at least look decent. This place is trash. I would not let my pet walk on that carpet.

Older hotel but quiet, secure & clean. Very helpful and friendly staff, we were going to take the hotel shuttle but front desk told us about the tour bus & they even held the bus while my husband got cash for the deposit. (Tour bus is the way to see where everything is then go back and hop off). Not a good breakfast, what little they had was empty. Most everyone in this hotel was tourist like us. We had a good experience here

If you are going to the Washington DC area, this is an okay place to stay in.
Great location. It is a 5-minute drive to the Rosslyn Metro station. And they provide an hourly shuttle. There are a few choices for food in the area. And it is right across Fort Myers.
Great price. The price is difficult to beat. And there is free parking, too.
Not too great rooms. The rooms are old, the sheets are dated and even the carpet is almost screaming to be replaced. The plugs are also old and a bit scary. The heater/AC is not too great either. We stayed on a winter and we decided not to use the heater. We were fine. But I don't know what this would be like in the summer. Though they are old, the rooms are clean.
Free (simple) breakfast. They provide bread, donuts, boiled eggs, cereals, coffee, juices , and oat meal. Simple but free.
This hotel is not for everyone. If you are trying to save some money and don't mind staying at an inexpensive place, this is good enough.response / report this review
