This is a fantastic place to stay. Rocking an international flair, it is located about 10 min walk from Rosslyn metro stop. It is situated in a quiet part of Arlington with lots of historic landmarks. The Marine Corps memorial, Arlington Cemetery and Fort Myer are some of the local attractions that are within walking distance. There is a shuttle that operates between the hotel and metro on weekdays from 6:30 am to 9:30 pm with a small break from 2-4pm. The shuttle service also makes special trips to the local grocery stores during the week. The staff is courteous and attentive to guests needs. The rooms are spacous and comfortable. Amenities include free coffee, infused water and a seasonal beverage (right now it's hot apple cider). A gym and sauna are available for patrons who like to work out, and during the summer months you can take a dip in the pool. They have a daily buffet for $6, plus tax. It is wheelchair accessible and has on-site parking. The only down side is the price for self-service laundry, nearly $5 each load to wash and dry (for a rather small load). All in all, a wonderful home away from home. Enjoy!

Very clean, organized and helpful staff. Suites are so comfortable. Love the kitchen fully equipped cookware, dinnerware, flatware, glassware with all you need to cook meals and make yourself like home. Definitely, recommend the Virginian Suites to everyone.

Although this was an older hotel I actually enjoyed my stay here. It had a sauna which I liked and its much like having your own old apartment in the city close to the metro. It's like a studio apartment with stove , fridge and microwave. The water pressure was rather low for my taste, but the shower water was hot and stayed hot.

This place looks nothing like the pictures. The lobby is nice, hallways rundown. They make up for it in rooms which are spacious with kitchen and lots of room. Free cookie and a warm welcome by hotel staff made me bump up the stars.

Nice size room for the price, perfect for 1-2 people. Extremely close to USMC War Memorial & Metro. Older building, slower elevators and showing signs of age. In the process of being painted white, I was unaware of that and looking for a brown brick building but still found it easily enough. Bathroom is small and can be a little awkward. Pool hours 10-8. Condition of bathroom & provided dishes 3/5. Rest of the stay 5/5 for what I needed. I will stay again

Great for the price! Awesome sized room in a great location. Hallways smelt a little funny but thankfully did not carry into the room. Room was cleaned and stocked with anything we could need. Front desk was helpful and provided us with maps of rosslyn and DC. Small thingthe complimentary shampoos and soap smell amazing! I rarely use these and or even look at them but these just smelled so good!!

Converted from a apartment building. Excellent accommodation for the price. Large rooms, though dated. Very clean, very comfortable. Competent staff. Would definitely stay again. Walking distance to plenty, short Uber ride to DC attractions. No frills, okay view.

The rooms need updating. Hallways, elevators, carpet and furniture are old, and overall look of the suites is dated. The sink and certain parts of the walls were "spot-painted" but whoever painted them did a terrible job. Sheets didn't look freshly laundered or replaced. There is no coin machine in the laundry room which was frustrating for a family wanting to do a load of laundry after being out all day. Breakfast for $6 is nothing to be desired for. Make sure you skip the breakfast, wake up earlier and head out for breakfast. Friendly staff and inviting lobby are the only redeeming qualities of this hotel. Priced at $180/night in July, you're better off staying elsewhere.

Very nice hotel, it is near a lot Arlington, George town, DC. The room was cute, but you can really hear when someone slams doors or even slightly. Also it felt like the A.C. didn't work I had blown out 90% cold air but after a couple of hours it didn't seem like me turning the A.C. on did anything, the room was still way too warm. There is no free Breakfast and you have to pay for parking which isn't too bad since I only had to pay 14.

Hotel was clean and quiet. Breakfast was a big rip off so I would save your money and grab something elsewhere.

This place is pretty nice. $16 parking per day and $6 for breakfast per day for adults. But its close to DC and the rooms are old but nice.

The room was great. It was spacious and comfortable. Came with a full kitchen and a changing/dressing room. The bathroom remodel was a but shaky. The toilet ran. Tried to fix it without any luck. I was able to close the dressing room door and the bathroom door to muffle the sound. The tub had a remodel cover over it. The installers left space in between the cover and tub. So when you walk on it it makes you wobble a bit. Other than that, service was good. Breakfast was sufficient. I'd come back.
