Good location, close to whole foods store and metro station. Huge dining area and good variety of breakfast options. And we were pretty satisfied with the check in /check out process, the spacious suite, and cleanness of the room.
Overall I thought this place was great for a weekend. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the HVAC but with a call to the front desk, they got it working in 30 min. We enjoyed the quietness even near the airport and city. They have a shuttle to take you to a metro station and airport so it is easy to get around.
The stay started off a little rocky. My initial room keys did not work so I carried my luggage all the way up to my room and had to bring it all back down. The second round of keys work fine the room is nice. The bathroom was clean but the hair dryer was pretty nasty. The hair dryer was full of dust and it covered in old Hairspray residue. Otherwise the facilities seemed . The sheets work clean and the bed comfortable. My TV in the front room didn't initially work, but they send up maintenance and he fixed the issue pretty quickly. The happy hour is nice and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is also relatively well serviced and the cooked-to-order omelets are amazing. I would definitely stay here again, I'm a fan of Embassy Suites, especially when traveling with family and having a little bit of extra room. It is a great value!
Easy to find location and it seemed like there were a lot if things to do around there. Friendly staff. Great job guys
The service staff was professional, but the rooms are old and worn out. The air conditioning struggled, the hot water was warm, and room was not cleaned very well. Could have just been a bad day.
Ok. The above review was a month ago. I have since come back. And the staff is still very professional. The room was spotless, the food excellent, and A/C kicked ass. Changing my review to 4 stars
Embassy Suites in Crystal City is a perfect location to stay. Nice and friendly staff, perfect two room suites and an outstanding breakfast buffet with cooked to order. Hotel is situated close to the Pentagon City Mall and a lot of restaurants at 23rd Street!!
Great two room space, breakfast and happy hour. Friendly staff and great service. Shuttle from the airport and "as needed" shuttle to nearby shopping and restaurants although not really needed because there are SO many restaurants within walking distance. Whole food basically across the street with better prices than you expect!!
Rooms are spacious and very clean. Nice staff. Very good breakfast buffet selections. Hotel is right alongside the interstate, so we hear highway noise, but it's not bad. Excellent visit. Would definitely stay here again.
Our stay was pleasant. They offered complimentary drinks and snacks in the evening and breakfast in the morning. The room had all the pleasures you would come to expect from a hotel (tv, coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, etc.). Our shower was stuck in the hot position, but after a call to the front desk and about 15 minutes everything was fixed. We didn't use the pool (it was on the smaller side and a little crowded). Exercise equipment was also available, but we didn't use that either. The hotel is located within walking distance to a number of shops and restaurants. It is also within walking distance of the metro which we used to visit D.C. Overall we had a good experience and would visit here again.
Staff really make you fell welcome. Breakfast is the best. I would say you are getting a $15 breakfast. That was a $45 for us. Also, they had evening reception with nice snacks and such.
Good location, reliable shuttles to both Reagan National and the nearby Pentagon City Station. Beds are nice & comfy, rooms seem up to date. Evening reception is predictably crowded, and the bar seems to be understaffed for the number of people every night. But the light appetizers change every evening, and we saw managers on the floor keeping an eye on staff every night. Lobby is also up-to-date and appealing. WiFi is fast. Breakfast food serving area is small for an Embassy Suites, making a crowded area seem extra packed. Tables for 4 or more can also be hard to snag, but being patient usually turns one up. Breakfast food is good. Staff again works hard to keep up with the demand, restocking clean plates, etc constantly.
This is my 4th stay here over the last 10 years. This is my go to Hotel when I travel to D.C. I'm happy to report that you get what you pay for. Staff is always accommodating. Food is tasty. Rooms are impeccable.
Room was great. Bed was very comfortable. Shower had great pressure. Bar/restaurant took some time to get service or having to go up to counter to get service. Breakfast had quite a few options. Enjoyable stay.
Comfortable and close by. Excellent service with friendly staff. I've stayed here dozens of times; from a single night, to a month at a time. For work or vacation, I prefer to stay here. WiFi is good throughout the building, workout facilities are solid, and the food is excellent. Manager's reception is a popular event with light snacks and a friendly bar. Parking can get expensive, but more affordable street parking can be found within a short walking distance. Location is near amenities and popular destinations.
