Desperately in need of upgrade to hvac, and/or new window seals. You are not going to get a warm room here on a windy night in the winter. Heater output is dismal (large-building, plumbed hot water system) and the rooms are ridiculously drafty. Spent two nights here and tried four rooms altogether. Finally settled on one that would stay at about 65 degrees, and that was after I stuffed towels under the door and all around the widow. Sheets are thin-- Bring something warm to sleep in.
Needs renovations overall. Rooms are getting a little dingy and rough around the edges.response / report this review -

So close to being nice. If you look closely pretty much everywhere it makes you wonder if theyve ever done any maintenance to the hotel. But they do have a hot tub

Hotel is not well maintained. Room needs deep cleaning, fixing and hotel overall needs a serious renovation. If could I would stay somewhere else. Now I need to drive a distance to have a decent place to workout too.

The merits of this hotel all fall on the staff. They are friendly, accommodating, and keep the rooms clean. However I would not suggest this hotel, despite the excellent staff. Anything relying on upper management or corporate decisions is severely lacking. The rooms are out of date and falling apart; the shower heads don't put out when pressure, the faucets leak, and paint/wall paper spots are bubbling off the wall in several areas of the room. The food at the restaurant is cooked well but the quality is still poor thanks to what management stocks the kitchen with. Overall a crummy hotel with a good staff that works miracles with the cards dealt by upper management.

Dated over priced roomswill not stay here again. When I arrived I could tell the rooms where outdated just by looking at the windows. The lobby is really nice the pool is to the right of the door as soon as you walk in which is awkward and weird.
Get in my room it's old ugly headboards for the beds are like 8 year old wooden 1970s headboards, Dresser is old dated, cracked peeling wood looks like someone took a chunk out of the feet of it.
The curtains are blackout curtains, but that's all you have you don't have a sheer curtain behind it, so it's either really dark or really bright.
Called the front desk to inquire about the pictures on the web vs the actual room and was told they have to do some updating soon.
Asked about the price that I am paying and was told that I am paying between $136 and $236 a night. Clearly these rooms are not worth that.
I currently have my heat on 90 but I'm freezing, waiting for someone to come and check on that. I am also supposed to have a discount wondering if that is a discount for this night or all the nights I'm here?
I have a reservation starting on October 8th for 2 weeks for work that I will be cancelling there's so many nicer hotels that I could stay at that will be closer to my job site.response / report this review -

Room was very clean. The staff was very accomadating to my disability and needs. Our conference ran very smooth and all of the staff worked well with us and took care of all of our needs and made sure we were comfortable throughout the duration. The location was excellent being right across from East town mall with plenty of places to go visit on our down time and other places to dine out at as well.

I like the hotel. It's a good location convenient to airport with many shopping and food options near.
I'm not usually a swimmer, but the location of their pool is perhaps awkward unless you're an exhibitionist. It's indoor with high, glass walls right between the entry and the front desk.response / report this review -

If you can avoid staying here, absolutely do NOT stay here. The first room had a smell coming out of the bathroom like a port-a-potty except without the air flow so it was just a constant flow of diarrhea through the room, so naturally, we got moved to another room. The second room had a dirty sock in the middle of the floor, no biggie, just threw the sock away. And then we noticed blood stains on the pillow and sheet. The room was definitely not cleaned, you can tell by the dust on the nightstand. Now we have been waiting for clean sheets, and the tv remote doesn't work, AND we're stuck here for two more nights since I already paid for the whole stay, over a grand, might I add. Fantastic, never coming back again.

Large hotel with conference facilities on the east side of Madison. Just off highway 94 and with easy commuting distance from the airport and downtown Madison. Facilities and decor are slightly dated, but not bad. Staff are friendly and helpful. Nice-sized swimming pool with hot tub. Adjacent game area has a couple of arcade games, air hockey and a pool table. Workout area overlooks pool and is fairly small with some dumbbells, and one treadmill, one elliptical machine, and one stationary bike. Handicap accessible with ample parking.

There's a lot to like about this hotel. I like the layout and the amenities especially. They have restaurants and cafes inside the hotel, not all hotels in the area do. And as a huge bonus, their WiFi is actually very good. I've been able to stream video flawlessly every time I've tried. That being said, the downsides are mainly how outdated most of the decor is. Most walls and furniture show years of wear. Also, most purchases in the hotel are marked up significantly and there is no free breakfast or coffee outside of the room coffeemaker. So would I stay here again? Yes. But it wouldn't be my first choice.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The keys cards are defective and locked my parents and I out of our rooms. We called the front desk, but they failed to even pick up. The pool is mediocre at best.The elevators are very slow; it's much faster to take the stairs. The microwaves are public and in order to use it you must share with everyone else on your floor. The ice machines only work on some floors. The bedrooms are fine I guess and the employees are nice.

I felt this was a good value for the money, and although the hotel isn't the newest, I slept well and the bed was comfy. Wifi was actually a reasonable speed, not usually the case at most hotels. Room was adequate and in line with the price. Parking was easy. My only issue was that my first room didn't seem to have working AC, and smelled a little off. I went back to the front desk and they immediately switched my room, and the new one was perfectly fine. I'd stay again.

3.5, the hotel needs to be updated. The room was clean but the tile and grout in the shower was coming up in a couple places. The beds were only okay. The staff was nice and friendly and helpful. Great location though, plenty of places to eat. Overall decent hotel just needs refurbishing.

Nice hotel. Clean rooms nice extras. Pool area very nice. Has bar area. Breakfast area (not included in rate). Within walking distance to many restaurants. Right across the street from mall. Shuttle to local restaurants. Would stay again.
