I loved this hotel! We were fortunate enough to stay in a room on one of the upper Governor's Floor, and get a room facing the the beautiful State Capitol building. The Governor's Club Bar are is nice and cozy, and spending the extra money to stay on the upper floors was well worth it. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, and the pool/ hot tub/ sauna/ workout facility is open until 11pm and in excellent condition. The location is also walking distance from the Capitol, lot's of restaurants, bars, breweries, and shops. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. Top notch!

    Rooms Clean.
    Modern and Cozy design.
    Great fitness center and pool.
    Good Customer Service.

I really could not find anything to complain about. The only problem I had was getting stranded at the airport due to their lack of proactively coordinating transportation, but they made up for this with their service skills. There are a couple who are most unhelpful, but I've generally have had a consistently enjoyable experience.

Amazing salad bar. We were hosted there for our organization's board meeting. Everything was perfect. Great service staff. I would definitely come here again!

We checked in about 10:30pm. When I went to use the bathroom, I saw what appeared to be bodily fluid on the floor in front of toilet and also in the sink.

I explained this to the receptionist and they offered a room change and I agreed. They also informed the manager, John who accompanied me to the room to inspect it.

He apologized and advise me that housekeeping would clean the bathroom for us if we wanted. I outlined to him that we already got a room change, we would prefer to change rooms as we wanted to go to bed. At this point it was about 11pm.

Upon arrival to our new room we realized that it did not have any pillows, towels, soap etc.

I informed the receptionist and she asked the security guard in the lobby to go for pillows for us.

I asked to speak to the manager. I explained to him what happened. I also stated that I was disappointed with this type of service, as we payed almost $400 a night for our room. He then advised me that if I had stayed in the first room, I would not be in this situation. He also stated that I can either pay $400 a night or $0 by leaving.

    We immediately checked out.

I've been staying at this hotel for more than 25 years. I have never seen it look better. The latest remodel is fantastic. The lobby feels open and bright. The room was like brand new. I stayed on a football weekend. The hotel was sold out but didn't feel crowded and there was no issue waiting for check-in or check-out.

Hotel is conveniently located 1 block from state Capitol building. Near many restaurants, bars, and shops. Fitness center also has free weights. Great breakfast buffet and lunch buffet in restaurant. Decent prices in hotel bar. Starbucks on site. Pool and sauna available. Shuttle to and from airport.

Everything was perfect! When we got there they upgraded our room, let is checkout late, answered all of our questions (directions) and gave us some good local tips. Like I said, perfect.

I've been here before, and it still remains of the better hotels in town. Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The tv channels are limited, but I'm not much for that anyway so it's less of an issue. There's a good restaurant and bar in building, and a Starbucks too boot. Valet service is available, and while a bit cramped, underground parking is complimentary with the room. Strongly recommend you stay here if you've got anything going on in the downtown area, as it's within walking distance of just about everything.

Comfy beds. Nice pool. There is a sauna which I was unable to use. Parking is not free ($10 a night) and the parking garage ceilings have a 6' 6" clearance. Nice front desk. Nice bellhops and front desk employees. Breakfast is not free; you have to order from the restaurant. Will update if I think of anything.

Location is great. Near the down town life but out of the direct light of the night life. Receptionist was great, parking is plentiful and very clean. There are many accommodations for your enjoyment including a gym, pool, sauna, and many more. Friendly staff and a comfy bed wrapped in luxary. Can't ask for more.

I loved my stay at the concourse! My room qualified for the Governors room where there was a complimentary breakfast and happy hour daily. My room had all the accommodations and the customer service was great. The only drawback was parking was an additional $10 a day

Great stay, great value, great location and room views, attentive, very friendly staff from manager to cleaning crew. Loved the stay and will be back if in the area.

So, why only four stars? $10 a day to park in a very tight, low, sorta creepy ramp, and shower heads with limited pressure and placed for people that are like 4' 6"major downers. Still, one of the better hotels I've stayed in.

We got a governor suite with jacuzzi. It was an overall great stay. Pleasant staff. Clean and spacious room. The view from our room was great (overlooking the bay). Three TVs!?! One 42" in front of a love seat, one smaller one in front of the bed, and one above the jacuzzi. They had a decent selection of channels. The bed was firm, but comfy. The pillows were some of the best I've slept on.

Only complaints are the parking garage was almost always full and the ceiling is incredibly low. My truck would only fit in a couple areas and we met another guy who scrapped his SUV's roof rack one one of the pillars. The other is that the Jacuzzi was just barely one. Two people fit, but there's not much room once in.

We stayed at the Concourse in the Governor's Club for our anniversary and it was wonderful! The staff is so friendly and even sent us complimentary champagne for the occasion. The room was beautiful and the view was spectacular. We'll definitely be staying here every time we come to Madison!

We stayed here while in town for a football game. The hotel is beautiful and modern and the service was great. It was a busy weekend for the hotel with the football game and some weddings but you couldn't tell.

The bar was nice, great service on multiple occasions when we stopped in. They had some local beers on tap which was nice and they did their best to expedite service even when it was crowded.

We enjoyed our stay and the proximity to everything in Madison. Highly recommend!
