Location convenient to several restaurants within walking distance (1 mile). Rooms of varying quality, sometimes with nice sitting room sometimes with a narrow hallway. Staff is always courteous and friendly.

Great place. Great for kids, really clean, but when the website said free breakfast, i was asked to pay. It was also hard to find. Others than that though, great place!

Awesome little indoor water park. If you were thinking of going all the way to Wisconsin dells with a toddler skip the crazy lines and crowded pools and come here instead! My daughter had a wonderful time here!

The room was very clean, incredibly comfortable beds and pillows. Microwave, mini fridge and kuerig in the room. The restaurant downstairs had delicious food, lots of options. I had the Italian nachos and cheese curds. The breakfast was also great. Large variety of fresh food, not just the usual bagels and cereal. Wisconsin cheese samples at the front desk. Friendly staff, very helpful and had suggestions for places to eat and drink in the area. I'd definitely recommend this hotel!

Very nice place. Vaulted ceilings, nice Jacuzzi in room, full bar and awesome Italian restaurant, great breakfast, modern clean and quiet, comfortable bed and friendly staff. 5 out of 5 stars.

Room was clean and had an open feeling from the eighteen foot ceilings. Service was good, internet decent, restaurant had good food. Indoor pool had a nice play area for the kids and a larger pool for adults with separate whirlpool spa. All in all a winning package at a good price.

If I could give this hotel -5 I would. The front desk person at check in was rude. After discovering we were placed in a room different than what we booked online they refused to switch rooms stating the hotel was booked. My husband attempted to reason with a different individual at the front desk who was willing move us to an ADA room to accommodate our family's needs however the other person jumped in said no. We ended up cancelling the reservation and switching to the Marriott down the road who were more than accommodating to our family. I filed a complaint with Holiday Inn and still have yet to hear back from someone.

Our stay really didn't meet our expectations. I was really surprised that they don't offer continental breakfast. Even Holiday Inn Express gives you something. Instead they want you to pay for a buffet in the adjoining restaurant. The rooms are seriously outdated and some of the features are falling apart (like our TV remote). There's a large water park here so it's good for families. However, we heard children running and jumping through the halls and the room above late into the night. If you're looking for peace and quiet go elsewhere. The hospitality wasn't great either, the front desk staff were aloof at best.

Easy access from highway and easy commute to downtown Madison and UW campus. Decor is a little bit outdated, but the rooms are generally spacious and comfortable. Staff are friendly and courteous. Ample parking and handicap accessible. A number of good restaurant choices within a short distance of the hotel. Pool/water park is fun and good for younger families and younger kids.

Nice hotel. I'm staying for a conference that's just out of town from here but the hotel is decent. The rooms are large and the complementary breakfast is nice. I'd stay again if I'm back here on business. If I'm here for pleasure I'll probably stay downtown.

Stayed overnight and enjoyed my stay immensely. The pool area was great, large, and not overcrowded. Great waterslide so kids will love it. My room had a large Jacuzzi tub and was a nice size. I also ate at the Italian restaurant which did not disappoint. Very friendly staff as well!

My kids and I stayed at the hotel for a overnight trip during spring break. We enjoyed every minute of it. They loved the pool area. We stayed in a pool side room and I loved the fact that I could just walk out and watch my children play. I was very happy with the price of the room also. We will definitely be coming back.

This was a good family hotel. The water park is just the right size for kids 10 and under (it does get a little crowded). The hotel is very dark. Not a lot of natural light or lamps. The restaurant is good, but breakfast is a little confusing. We read that it was a $10 breakfast buffet, but when we went down it was just eggs, sausage, cereal and toast. I couldn't tell if they were charging or not. We ended up skipping it. Because it is kid friendly you also have to deal with the footsteps echoing from the floor above. Luckily parents put an end to it by 9:30. I overall it was fine, the kids had fun which is the most important part.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn for a short winter weekend getaway. My 4 year old daughter said it was "the best vacation ever". The pool area is great for ages 0-10 and has slides for the little ones and the big ones. It was nice that the pool opened nice and early, 8 am.

We would stay here again. The only negative is that we were in a first floor room and we heard the people above us at all hours of the night. I called the front desk and they did call up to them. I really wish we wouldn't have hear them. Ask to stay at a room not on the ground level if you are a light sleeper like me.
