The hotel is convenient to Dallas Love Field airport (DAL) and relatively close to the downtown area. It is a decent hotel for the price 3 stars at best. The front desk staff was very pleasant during check in/out. The rooms are clean and comfortable but not as updated as other hotels in the category. The one minor complaint was the bathroom. There was some mildew between the shower tiles, which could easily be removed with some detailed cleaning by the housekeeping staff.

I honestly feel this should be a 2.5 star review. We needed a little staycation so we thought we would find a deal. We paid $57 a night before taxes and if we had paid any more I would have been upset. The headboard fell off of the wall and apparently it was hanging on by a thread anyway due to all the holes in the wall. I could have been badly hurt, but it did not seem that the customer service was up to par enough to address the mishap in a way I feel a higher end establishment would have. We were given another room and I suppose that was all they had. It was not a terrible place but it was not the greatest place to stay either. If I had a choice again I would choose elsewhere. It was clean and comfortable, but it was not to the standards of what a Crowne Plaza usually is or should be. The pics speak for themselves

This hotel was close to where I was attending a function. Check in was quick and easy. I was only staying one night so I didn't require anything other than a decent bed, a hot shower and a good nights sleep. Had the shower and decent bed requirement, so no complaints there. What I am extremely pissed about is that at 7:30am the cleaning ladies decided it would be a great time to clean the room next to me. Allowing the door to slam closed every time they opened it, vacuuming and hitting the wall with the vacuum and talking very loudly AT 7:30am! Took me a while to get back to sleep and then at 10:30am, they decided to do a fire alarm test so everyone in the entire hotel had to listen to that for about 10 minutes. At check out, the lady at the front desk did even ask how our stay was. She just took the key cards and said nothing. I didn't bother to complain to her as she didn't care. I will not stay here again

One of my worst stays in 20 years of traveling. Got here and were offed a king suite with a roll away. Get the keys to walk into someone else room! Back to the desk. All that is available is 2 FULL bed rooms (all they have in this hotel beside single king). A king would be open soon and they would call us to exchange rooms. We called 3 time to check on our room and each time I was told don’t have anything yet soon and they would check with the manager and call right back. Never received any calls. So my self (6’6”)and 2 teen age children (one 6’ and one 5’6) stayed in 2 FULL beds. With the name you expect a certain level of quality. This hotel misses it by far. Fans don’t work in the bath room. Shower curtains are the wrong size. No mini fridge. Pool too cold for kids to swim in. and on and on.

Definitely a 1 star experience. Giving it two stars for the price. Disastrous from check in until almost check out. I was checked into a room that wasn’t completely clean and hadn’t been inspected. The housekeepers were actually cleaning the room as I got off the elevator. After finally getting into the room and relaxed for a quick nap after driving 7 hours I was awaken by who turned out to be the housekeeping manager who walked in with his card without knocking on the door. He questioned why I was in the room and had an attitude . I called down to the front desk who told me that he was the manager and checking rooms. They informed me that the agent who checked me in gave me the wrong room but they would change it in the system. The next day I left out around noon to enjoy my day in the city only to return to a room that wasn’t cleaned. Apparently the housekeeping came into my room and placed the do not disturb sign on my door because she didn’t want to clean my room. As I was planning on hosting a small cocktail business meeting in my room this was embarrassing to say the least. Lastly the breakfast buffet was pretty simple and basic. Nothing special .. My server was great and attentive though which I appreciated. Just disappointed

We stayed in this hotel thinking it would be an upscale neat hotel for our kids. We were wrong. The rooms were small, the beds were tiny and uncomfortable, there was no fridge or microwave and the TV barely worked. The hotel was very outdated and not a very relaxing place to come to for the night. We typically book places like Holiday Inn Express and learned now that we will continue to stay at places like that. Nicer newer rooms, more amenities, and free breakfast in the morning. I was shocked this place seemed so behind the times. Not to mention the location seemed like a rundown part of town. We will definitely not be staying here again. Did not have any interaction with the staff because unless you are wanting to spend more money on overpriced food you won't need them.

First I want to say the staff here is incredibly nice. The property itself is disgusting. I had no other choice than to stay at this location as the other nearby IHG properties were booked.
To say this hotel is run down is an understatement. Every other guest I encountered had similar concerns. Jokes were made in the elevators (especially #2) that we may very well die during the ride. One guest I encountered said she believed a prostitution ring was being run from this property, while doubtful, the condition of this property lends credence to her statement. It is not clean, it is in a state of disrepair, I wouldn’t suggest this place to my enemy. Pretty sure this location was used during the filming of American Horror Story: Hotel.

It has one star because I cannot zero star review. It is worth driving farther and battling traffic than to book this property.

Mid June for 2 nights. OK experience considering Dallas prices in this area.

    Cons. No refrigerator or microwave.
Odd small vertical window behind the whole wall of curtains with blotchy dirty window. Overall room size is on small side. Difficult to contain water from ending up in bathroom floor during shower. Hairdryer hidden in black bag shoved back too far to be seen on low vanity shelf. Asked for one, one was brought after much ado by housekeeping not fluent in English. It didn't work. When I was sopping up water so I didn't fall down in wet bath, I finally saw hairdryer bag. Pool is pretty small and cloudy water and kids enjoying steered me from it.

Pros. Pricing for the area is good. Endless free parking in very large lot including for buses, RV size large vehicles. Complementary bottled water in fridge near front desk. Breakfast buffet was fine, lots of options. Food quality was not bad, unlimited food and beverage plan with gracious offering of to go cup. A real lobby and various cozy seating on 1st and second floors for out of room relaxing. Small service bar adjoined to restaurant. No bug, mold, stain or anything egregious seen in room or common areas. Bath products provided were good quality, shower head and water pressure was extraordinary. Overall, I would stay here again and eat breakfast here even if they have raised that price since my stay.

Black mold everywhere. See the pictures.

This is definitely one of the lowest end Crowne Plaza's I've ever stayed at. The building is old and in dire need of repair. Rooms are relatively well kept, but they are painting over old run-down structure. I was in town for government business, so we were paying the full Government rate. Five star hotels downtown we're charging the same Government rate.

Location of this hotel is terrible. The neighborhood is dangerous and there is nothing nearby. They do provide a shovel, but you'll probably spend a lot of time waiting for it.

If this is the last hotel in all of Dallas with rooms, consider staying here. Otherwise, there are plenty of much better choices.

My husband and I used the crown plaza for parking and shuttle to the airport, it's what we usually do. We have not yet stayed at a Crowne Plaza yet.Not sure what his name is who drives the shuttle (bald African American guy who looks like comedian J.B. Smooth) He was absolutely professional, great guest service. When we arrived at Love Field he gave us the business card to call when we return so we can be picked up, In the 24 years that we have been traveling that has never happened ,we always have to wait forever on someone to come get us from airport even after we call. If you guys curb side is that great we can only imagine what the service is inside. Crowne Plaza keep doing that great guest service.

Well first the vending machine was broken, the dumbbells didn't have their weight listed on them (broken), the water cooler in the "gym", broken, the place is a dirty broken dump, and don't try to reach the front desk.20 rings later. The guy that delivered room service was nice. That's was the best thing about my stay there. I will not return. Don't expect a 3 star hotel. I would rate it a 1.5 tops. They add a gratuity of 18% to room service, no need to tip. I didn't see that listed on my bill. This hotel is a scam, don't stay here.

The hotel staff was very attentive, but the hotel it self was a disappointment. it was old, the rooms were small, on top of all that the A/C didn't work. Even after I put the A/C down to 60, my family and I were sweating. When we checked in we quickly came to the room and change to go to an event. After coming back from the event the room was still HOT. That's when I called down stairs, they did have a maintenance guy come quickly and adjust it manually. It was 80 degrees outside (Texas heat by the way), its absurd and makes me believe they are cutting corners to save money on their electric bill.

This experience has been absolutely HORRIBLE! Our air conditioner did not work properly in our room, the whole 11th floor smelt like pot! Even one of the employees was joking with us saying they smoked too much and then wanted to change his story when we informed him that we did not like it. The reviews I read and the photos made this place seem much better than it is. We have never had an experience like this any where and we will NEVER come back! I have asthma (hence why we stay in non-smoking places). We were given the options to check out another room to switch and it was hotter in there than it was in our room but the air conditioner in the hallway worked better than the rooms. I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE!!
