I expected a lot more out of the rooms. The king bedroom was small with an expensive price tag. $30 for overnight parking & valet seems a bit ridiculous. The only reason I gave them 3 stars because I enjoyed the bed a lot! My slumber was disturbed by yelling cleaning staff at 9am. This hotel is in a great location for shopping.

So very disappointed in this place. Parking way overpriced. Very loud housekeeping in the early early morning. When you order room service everything is priced individually, chicken and french fries $50.00. The front desk staff (Savanna) very rude and talk to me like I was a child. I left items in the room and called the next day, I got Savanna again on the phone, she put me on hold for 10 minutes, came back and said there was noting left in the room. The bag with medications, maybe thrown away, but a scanner? I don't think so. I will never stay here again and will discourage everyone that will listen not to be fooled by the beautiful looks of the place, customer service was awful!!!

This is a great hotel! It's like the "Cheers Bar" of hotels--a place where everybody knows your name. From the valet parking attendant to the front desk to the restaurant to the bar to the great room service guy, everyone addresses you by name and provides OUTSTANDING service.

The place is right next to Central Expressway but don't let that deter you. The room was so quiet that all I heard was the A/C and my wife breathing.

We will most definitely stay here again on our next trip to Dallas. Top notch!

I enjoyed my stay very much. I wish it had been more than an overnight stay. The public rooms are just gorgeous. The modern hotel room (king bed) was a good size. The bathroom was modern and sleek. One thing I didn't like was that the room window was frosted to about two-thirds of the way up. Light came through, but not a great deal. The pool area (I didn't use it) looked lovely. Valet parking was typical for a higher-end hotel ($27), but still annoying.

I attended a large event for well over 100 people. The large conference room was clean, service was fast and very professional, and the food was quite tasty. Went to the bar downstairs afterward which had great service, as well. All in all a great night.

Beautiful, modern upscale hotel and residences in a great location with easy access to freeways and DART train station across the street. Luxury bar and steakhouse, plus a full spa and impeccably maintained throughout. Cocktail bar and large outside patio is very popular with guests and locals. Great atmosphere. Staff is excellent, rooms are immaculately clean and food is great. Price is reasonable, and the clientele is very stylish and chic. No riff raff wandering in here. Highly recommended.

Booked this hotel for my parents when they came to Dallas for their anniversary and they loved it! They were in a lovely corner room that was very clean with a very comfortable bed. The view of the Dallas skyline was incredible! The room was very quiet and the hotel accommodated a late check-out at no cost for my parents. The staff was very friendly and the pool area was also very nice. My parents are already looking forward to their next visit to Dallas to stay at The Highland Hotel. Certainly recommend to others!

Located smack in town, this place oozes old style Texan charm with its grand entrance. It's undergoing huge renovations as we arrived but what we can see in the renovations so far is impressive. We were given an upgrade to a suite on arrival and the rooms are just gorgeous with comfy beds (really appreciated after a 17 hr flight!). The service so far has been outstanding.

I stayed with these fine folks last week for my first work trip away from my one year old twins. In my haste to get home I left a few items behind in the closet. Not only did I get quick, friendly replies to my request for their retrieval - they were returned to me within 72 hours. They definitely made my first trip easier with the great food, beautiful rooms with Texas pride, and true hospitality!
