I stayed here while attending a training session in the ballrooms. One of the best parts is that it was relatively close to the airport, and they have a shuttle that runs every half hour. It was a breeze for us to get from the airport to the hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were great. They were just enough space for one and possibly two people, and they had everything one would need, including a nicely designed bathroom, and a comfy bed with soft linens. While I liked the entire room, the bed was so comfortable, I could have stayed in there for days. The bar in the hotel was quite nice, and the ballrooms had everything that we needed. The food that was provided, which for us was breakfast and lunch, was okay. It was a bit bland, but I think that was more what our organizers chose. Again, the serving staff was pleasant and helpful. We ate lunch and breakfast in our training rooms, and they made a big effort to take our dirty dishes away ( as opposed to our doing it ourselves). While it's not close to a downtown area, there is a mall within walking distance, and that has good stores and a small food court. There is also another complex that has several restaurants, and I enjoyed checking those out, especially King's and the Hofbrauhus. I would definitely recommend this Hotel and Conference Center for other groups planning training sessions.

The Crowne Plaza Ohare hotel was the location for a large work conference for approximately 350 people. We used the ballrooms, hotel rooms, and their food service catered our breakfast and lunch. The service provided was excellent and the staff was very accommodating. There was some miscommunication about the set-up and we arrived to find our 16 training rooms separated by curtains which was unacceptable. The staff transformed the 16 rooms into 5 for us the following day which was a lot of work. The food and beverage service was excellent and food went over well with the attendees. I took off one star because the hotel rooms are showing age and th level TVs are very small.

Great service and clean for being an "airport hotel." I hosted a corporate event here and the staff was phenomenal! The AV team went above and beyond and the banquet staff was helpful to any request! The facilities were also a perfect layout for our event!

Stayed here for a convention - nice hotel, excellent meeting space and accommodations. The rooms are comfortable, modern and well appointed. My non-smoking room smelled strongly of smoke and had cigarette burns on the upholstery of one of the chairs. In addition, very loud protesters outside of the main wall of windows to the rooms could be heard well into the night - they are apparently protesting the hotel’s cooperation in the investigation of a 19 year old girl that was found dead in a walk- in freezer on the property after attending a party here. The protesters carry bullhorns, whistles, sirens and drums - so they can make quite a lot of noise. The front desk when asked could make no accommodations and did not have any ear plugs. Would stay at one of the many other hotels in the area if I knew what I know now.

Super fancy and elegant looking, marble everything. All of the workers were friendly and nice. Stayed here before going to MEPS to swear in the Army the next day and with how awesome everything was it calmed the nerves the night before. Food from the hotel restaurant was amazing. Had the burger and homemade chips which were phenomenal. Mall just across the street made it fun to have something to do so close.

The hotel is nice, it's a clean place and very big. The restaurants are nice and the food is ok but a little on expensive side. There are better options near by. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. The staff is polite and they try hard to please. The only negative comment I can say about them, it is they are inconsistent with what they say. It seems the management didn't trained them well. Overall the hotel is nice.

Had my car parked here for 5days. Had a discount on the price, so I was glad of that. The only down side was, there where a lot of people waiting for their shuttle bus to take them back to the hotel, there weren't enough buses. Luckily my wife and I, we're able to get on the 1st one. The driver was courteous and kind, helping with the luggage and passengers.

I went to Flashback Weekend. It was great. The staff at the front counter was friendly and very polite with answering questions about parking and bathrooms. The dining area was beautiful and comfortable. Everyone who worked there checked on us and made the visit grand. We didn't stay over night, but we would, considering the service and friendlinss we got just by being there for an event.

Here for a yearly convention that I usually attend and never disappointed by my stay. The staff is great, friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and in very good condition. The hotel is near the airport and I never hear the airplane noise while inside the hotel. Parking lot is small, but when they're busy they sometimes open up parking in the adjacent parking garage. It's location for accessing the downtown of Chicago is pretty good as the Blue Line is close by. The Donald E Stephens Convention Center is across the road. Plenty of places to go and eat are in the area and within easy walking distance.

Loved this place! Stayed here for Comic con. The whole hotel was really nice, the only complaint I would have is that we had to park in the overflow lot, which they told us was $15 each day except they didn't mention that it was every time you LEAVE. Not each day.

Friendly counter staff. Very clean and comfortable room. Great convenient location. One complaint would be the absolute lack of customer service from the woman at the little gift shop. No greeting. No nothing. She never spoke to me. Instead of telling me how much my purchase was, she just pointed to the cash register display. Weird experience. Did not seem like she wanted to be at work that evening.

I have mixed feelings about this one. The place is huge which is good if you are having a meeting. But as a guest that's not so important. The rooms were clean and nice. But they did not have microwaves or refrigerators. The bed was soft but to Springy and it squeaked a lot when I moved. I kind of liked it. I don't know why.

I rated this a three because it was a mix between a two and a four.

On the four side: my room was well appointed and clean. The complimentary water on the floor was a very nice touch. I was traveling alone and, when the restaurant was full, I was directed to the bar that had a full menu. The seared salmon sandwich wasn't all that seared, but the salmon was cooked through, yet very moist and delicious.

On the two side: the airport shuttle was slow. One passenger said he had been waiting for 45 minutes for a shuttle that is supposed to run every 30. I didn't time my wait, but I noticed that each of the other hotel shuttles came by twice before the Crowne Plaza shuttle came around. I had a great deal of difficulty getting the treadmills to run in the gym. (When I selected a routine, it would ask for my weight, and the screen would accept no more input. After asking another guest, I learned that the quick start would work.). I bumped the thermostat up in the room by four degrees, and it never got warm the first night. When I mentioned the problem to the front desk the next morning, they sent an engineer who simply bumped it up another four degrees. The room safe didn't work. I let the front desk know, they sent the engineer who replaced the battery. I asked to check my laptop into a hotel safe while I was waiting for the safe to be fixed, and they simply held it at the front desk (literally sitting on top of the desk, not even on a shelf below). When I discovered that the lever for the stopper on the bathroom sink had been removed, I used a hook from the shower curtain for sufficient leverage to close the stopper so I could wash my workout clothes. Any one of these items was excusable, but they really stacked up over a 24 hour period.
