Rooms are clean and confy. But beware, if you take a shower be ready to yell when the water suddenly becomes scorching hot; like when someone flushes the toilet but in this case no one flushed. Halls are clean but the cold scheme of the carpet makes it look dirty. We arrived late from the airport so the restaurant was closed. The reception staff was efficient but with a cold demeanor. In summary, if you are in need of a quick stay, this is a good option.

Wow, I am impressed. This place is definitely a must every year when I come into town. Right location, beautiful setting. Southern hospitality staff. Hotel decor and amenities are a great. If you are always on the road this is a hotel to enjoy and relax 1 night or few days. If you are on vacation or a couple weekend getaway. This is the Place as well..!! The bedsheets are so soft. Thanks the whole staff awesome. I am happy.

This place is awful online they said they have family rooms. When we get there we find out that family rooms just consist of two double beds. After we checked in within hours all four of us were sick. We were there for 10 days and sick the entire time. I'm pretty sure it was from all the mold on our floor. Not to mention even though everything was paid up front we had to put a deposit down. And it never got returned to us they claim that they will release it back to you when you checkout but your bank won't release it for 10 days. When I contacted the bank they state that the hotel never released it.

Slightly better than average. I would summarize it in one word: inconsistent. I experienced 2 different extremes each day. Excellent restaurant/room service and staff. But, then cold, distant staff members at times. The hotel was immaculate at full occupancy. But, I came back to my room at 5:30 pm and it wasn't cleaned yet. I think it comes down to training and managing. It has all the potential to be a 4-5 star. Great Chef though!

I stayed here for work. Room was nice, clean. Although every purchase I made here was charged 3 times at 3 completely different prices. When mentioned to the front desk they claim they did no wrong and will not refund. Will have to contact bank to dispute.

The staff is very friendly and always happy to help in any way. I have dietary issues and they catered to that with no hesitation, which is rare to find no matter where I go. Rooms are great with nice showers and large tv's. Beds are comfy and rooms are fully equipped. Within walking distance of restaurants and conveinent stores.

Hotel is located right off of Interstate 77, roughly ten minutes from Uptown, South Park, Carowinds, etc. In other words it's in a great location. The hotel was very clean and has a nice bar area as soon as you walk in. The room was very clean and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it had a balcony. Staff was inviting and responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

I was here for a week . I was renting one of the Meeting rooms. The customer service was impeccable. They always refreshed coffee and water and asked how I was doing. The hotel was very clean included the bathroom. I cannot give this hotel 5 star because I didn't see the rooms and it wouldn't be a fair assessment.

Didn't know we were staying here. American Sidelines Airlines cancelled our flight with no warning. We had to find our own accommodations last minute. We landed up here. Front desk was great. When I told him that the first flight we could get out on was 8:20PM the next day he gave us the latest check out that he could. The bar area was open for food until midnight so we were able to grab a delicious pizza. Room was really nice and at a reasonable price. Coffee maker in the room for three morning.

Room is great and front desk is fantastic but do not have the breakfast buffet. They rarely replenish the food and the food was not even that good. For $15 there are much better places close by

Love live this hotel, the staff are wonderful the rooms are always clean. Bed comfortable. I really hate they did away with the hot tub. But everything else was AWESOME. I LOST my phone and the staff at the front desk did not stop until they helped me locate it. Thanks to everyone for your help.

I'll start off by saying the majority of the staff are courteous and helpful. There are a few that come off as cold and unapproachable. For the age of the hotel, the rooms were updated nicely. You can still tell that the rooms are dated but this location has done a better job of disguising that fact than other Crowne Plazas and Holiday Inns I have stayed at. During my stay though, the hotel had a problem with the fire alarm system. The first instance happened on a Saturday afternoon. The fire alarm went off and the whole building had to evacuate and wait for the fire department to investigate. It turns out that it was a false alarm and the alarm system was to blame. That's fine, technical problems happen. Then this happened a second time on Sunday night. The alarm went off about 2 A.M. I believe. Again, the whole building had to evacuate and wait for the fire department. Once everything was clear and we returned to our rooms, I noticed my strobe light is still flashing. This continued for 15 minutes until the fire alarm went off a second time. This time I did not evacuate. I was staying on the 16 floor and I was not about to walk down 13 flights of stairs again just for a faulty alarm system. I waited for the alarm to clear. When the alarm was silenced, I waited 30 minutes for the strobe light to go off but it never did. That's when I decided to go to the front desk to drop off my laundry and let them know about the alarm in my room. When I got there, they immediately asked if I was checking out. I'm assuming that other guests got fed up with the constant alarms and left. I told them no and that I only wanted to drop off laundry and let them know the strobe light was still on in my room. When I did this, the only resolution they could provide was to offer me another room because the facility maintenance team would not be there until early in the morning. I was originally staying for 2 weeks, so I had quite a bit of stuff to pack up if I was leaving the room. At this point, it was also 4 A.M. by now and I had to be a job site in 3 hours and I still haven't slept. If I was going to have to pack up, then I might as well go to another hotel at that point. I ended up just staying in my room and the strobe light was eventually turned off by 5:30-6:00 A.M. No type of compensation was offered or even a real apology for the first, second, or third alarm by management. The front staff that was there for the night apologized for my inconvenience when I went to tell her about my strobe light but I'm sure she would say sorry to anyone that came up and I'm sure there wasn't much she could do. She had a rough night as well I'm sure. But the management never said or did anything. My only other complaint would be how the staff informs their guests of the arrival of packages or laundry. In short, they don't. I had packages that were delivered the day before I arrived. I was not informed about them but I didn't mind because I wasn't there at the time of arrival so they could have forgotten. But during my stay, I had a second package arrive that I was not told about. If I had not known about the package or had a tracking number on it, I would not have known it was there. As a matter of fact, they didn't know it was there for awhile. As for my laundry that I dropped off during the night of the fire alarms, the staff never called to let me know my laundry had arrived nor did they drop it off. I had to call and ask about it at 7 P.M.

It is a very nice hotel. The interior was very pretty and the serving staff were very helpful. I would have given 5 stars, but the front desk staff did not greet me on my way in or wish me well on my way out of the building.

The staff were excellent and very accommodating. The hotel was very close to shopping and restaurants in the area (within walking distance). The TV in the mirror in the vanity near the bathroom was very cool and impressed my kids. The bed and sofabed were comfortable with lots of pillows. Very nice room. We stayed here with a group for a sporting event and it was great.
