I personally loved this hotel until 2 employees lied and said another employee wasn't doing her job and got her fired. She was the most hard working employee this hotel had . I have been staying at this hotel for over a year now I travel for work a lot . One thing I enjoyed the most was the amazing bistro service definitely 5 stars but now I give it a 0-1 star . I will be booking somewhere else for now on . Don't even feel comfortable putting my real name on this post so I'm using a fake name.. The way employees are treated here is unbelievable .! A employee lies and makes a complaint saying another employee left the hotel to run somewhere and was gone 45 minutes this women stood near me and told a young man she was filing a complaint against another employee I know very unprofessional right . The women she was filing the complaint against was serving me that night she was doing her work unlike theses other employees gossiping . Yet the hard working lady gets fired and the liars keeps her job . This women claims this young women left around 7:30 maybe a little earlier I can't remember but if I ordered my drink at 7:38 and the young women served me my drink if she "Left" like the lady said how could she have served my drink to me ?? . It upsets me did anyone bother to check the cameras or look up receipts from orders that night anything? Any proof? Instead of investigating the situation I guess its easier to just fire a employee. What a shame !!

The showers were so nice. Also the rooms has a nice amount of space and it was used well with the swiveling tv and the comfortable chair.

Here for a conference. Space is clean. Staff and service at the food counter is exceptional - attentive, polite, friendly. All around great experience. But no recycling available - grr!

Very modern, beds are comfortable (soft), very clean and well appointed rooms. Close to a variety of stores and restaurants. Only 30 minutes outside of Cleveland.

Rooms appeared to be newly renovated. Updated furnishings, glass showers, friendly employee at desk. Bed was very comfortable. My only real complaint was parking. We were in town for a concert. Got back to the hotel just before midnight on a weeknight. Had to go to the very far back corner of the lot and park near very tall bushes and trees on the perimeter of the property. I'm a bit paranoid, but I do not like parking near growth like that. Especially in the dark. I feel like a person or animal could be hiding and I'd not see them. I prefer clean landscaping around parking lots where I can be better aware of my surroundings

One night for business. Rooms, Lobby, Exercise room all consistent to Courtyards. You are tucked back from the entrance road so it was quite. Staff was pleasant. Hotel is clean and comfortable. If you are a Marriott person this will do the job

Get anything on the menu. It's all good. Don't forget to add a bowl of soup. I have yet to have a bad sandwich or bowl of soup. Great group of guys working the pl ace too. All around good place to eat.

The hotel was clearly renovated recently. The room looked modern and the bed was quite comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was superb! Unfortunately, the devil is in the details. The iron was shoddy and there were no temperature markings on the dial. Also, the coffee maker stopped working after brewing one cup. Both of these problems l, I'm certain, would have been remedied if I had called the front desk. The staff was very friendly and they seemed like they'd accommodate their guests well.

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean, everything worked. Bed was comfortable. Only complaint was the breakfast. I got a fruit cup which was okay, not great, some of the grapes were soft and the melon was a little smushy. I also got some toast which came out cold with two slabs of rock hard, almost frozen butter. I'd stay here again and pick something else for breakfast. They also have a decent selection of snacks and beer available by the front desk.

Courtyard Akron Fairlawn is definitely high on my list of places to recommend. The staff was very friendly and attentive during our stay and made sure that everything meet our exceeded our expectations. Our initial room had a minor a.c. problem and we were quickly shifted to a larger room. The property was finishing renovations while we were there and the renovated rooms are very nice with comfortable beds, a spacious shower and nice furnishings. The pillows were a bit lacking and were much thicker and harder than I like. My only real complaint was the paltry and overpriced selections at the bistro. Much better and cheaper food can be found a few minutes from the property.
