I stayed at the Glidden House with my wife for a night. The room was very clean and comfortable with a nice modern look. All of the Christmas decorations throughout the building were very nice and gave the hotel a cozy charm. The bartender was very knowledgeable and made delicious mixed drinks. The foods available for the breakfast buffet were very delicious. A very nice variety which includes oatmeal with many toppings, pastries, fried eggs, and small sweet potato pancakes in a personal sized cast iron skillet. The Glidden House is in a great location with many fun places nearby such as the Cleveland Botanical Garden and the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. My wife and I had a wonderful stay and will definitely be recommending the Glidden House to our friends and family.

Everything about this place was amazing. From the moment we stepped foot into the former Glidden family mansion to the comfort of the rooms and the amazing breakfast the next day, we were wowed. It's centrally located to practically everything University Circle had to offer and all within walking distance. Their suites are spacious and comfortable (loved the heater bathroom floors). The staff goes out of their way to help guests. The most romantic times we've had together since our wedding. We will be back, that's for sure

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around

A great place for a wedding. Banquet hall, and other rooms made for a wonderful reception. Staff was courteous and inviting. Overnight room Rates were not unreasonable. We attended for a friend's wedding, who reserved a block of rooms. I had to call to book the room (as the online system showed them as all booked). The rooms themselves were very nice. Bed was comfortable. Only issue, was that the walls were not well insulated, so sound carries reasonably well (overheard the next room discussing breakfast plans in the morning). As a guest, it was a perfect place to host an event.

We stayed here many years ago when my sons were young. Staff was very hospitable. They allowed my young son to play the piano. The architecture in the house was beautifully maintained after all of these years. Easy walk to other museums. Highly recommend.

This charming small hotel feels like you are in Europe. Ample breakfast with a lovely sunroom for dining as well as an outdoor patio. They even have an espresso machine for guests to make their own espresso at breakfast. The hotel staff is always very pleasant. One block to the Case Western Reserve University dorms. It has been perfect for visiting our daughter at CWRU.

A beautiful historic hotel that is priced very reasonably for the level of service and class. Located right next to Case Western, so a short walk to lots of delicious dining and good shopping. Also only a mile from Cleveland Clinic.

The staff is caring and attentive to their guests, the services are remarkable and the atmosphere is truely a unique experience. From the outdoor seating, where one could relax with a fine cigar or loung comfortably in the gazebo. Knowing a friendly face and endless comfort awaits with a moments notice.

I thought staying here was going to be stiff and very self important, but I was SO wrong. The staff is incredibly friendly, kind, and funny. The food and bar are great and the rooms are beautiful. You can also walk to many museums and gardens that are very close by. I would love to stay here again!

It's a beautiful boutique hotel conveniently located on campus. The woman at the front desk was helpful with campus maps and very friendly. It was a nice surprise to discover that breakfast was included with my rate and the breakfast was very nice. I definitely would stay here again!

I stayed at the Glidden House for 3 nights in September 2016. Everything was wonderful. Clean rooms, helpful and courteous staff, lovely surroundings, delicious breakfast. This staff IS interested in you having a perfect stay and I found out they go out of their way to make you comfortable. I left another hotel in the area after one night (nightmare) and thought I was in heaven when I checked into the Glidden House. Job well done!
