One of the best hotels Iāve stayed at, everyone was very friendly and accommodating! This was a hotel close to Disney and had a shuttle that I used, which was one of many of the amenities the hotel had to offer! The breakfast at the Letterpress was outstanding, again great service and hospitality! The rooms were comfortable with great views of the Disney Magic Kingdom fireworks. The pool was a great area for families and was very clean. Overall a great experience, very pleased with this hotel and I will be back!
Definitely not up to Hilton standards. Grounds were nice, pool area was beautiful. Staff did a great job hosting the company dinner of 1000+ people. A lot of mold smell in the buildings, very noisy guests left to roam about unchecked through the night. Seemed like paper-thin walls between the guest rooms too. Just about everything in the room was damaged, even the artwork on the wall had lipstick drawn on it. Bell staff didn't bring bags to room until we called to question where they were, then were told it s because they lost our room number. Shuttle bus to and from Disney parks was unreliable, late and the return trip driver drove so fast that we were all frightened and i hurt my wrist holding on to the seat. Hilton needs to step up on this place.
Resort was sufficient for the purpose of my stay. Room was comfortable but I must say it did have a musty mold type aroma to it for the duration of the stay. Was pleased with the comfort of the bed but the shower was smaller than I would prefer due to my broad shoulders and above average stomach area. I would love to stay at the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace to enjoy and utilize the resort portion of this hotel but unfortunately I was in town for business and just enjoyed the standard amenities this hotel had to offer.
Clean, spacious and the room has a wonderful balcony, and large television. Food was delicious, which was a wonderful treat, since often the restaurants around Disney are not. The only problem I have is that the room temp is set to 74 f, and the maintenance man has to come up, to switch it for you. This is not convinent when you are traveling with 3 girls, who are already in bed 1/2 naked and in pajamas. I really wish we could have changed the thermostat ourselves. Other than the temperature issue all is wonderful! Ob, and the have Peter Thomas Roth shampoos and conditioners! šš½
Great hotel and staff. We really enjoyed amenities on site and shades was great outdoor restaurant. Hotel is walking distance to Disney Springs and the views from high floor is wonderful. You can tell rooms are older but are renovated well. Pool and lazy river are fun!
It was my husband's birthday so I thought I would plan a nice, romantic, fun weekend.
First off, parking is a half mile away and if your disabled you have to walk up the steepest hill to even get to the front door and only 7 handicap parking spaces, at the bottom of allot of steps, for the whole hotel. Unless, you want valet parking at $20 a day. Valet had all the close parking.
Second, the room was so damp, and musty, I could barely breathe. We would get up in the morning and put our clothes on and they were actually wet, COLD AND WET! I let Customer Service/ Front Desk know and not even an offer to give us a different room. Although, they did offer to send someone to look at the A/C but we had reservations and needed to leave right away. And anyways, the A/C was not the problem, the A/C was working fine, it was freezing. The problem was the wetness, You could feel the cold and wetness on everything. All the bedsheets, towels, even the clothes in the drawers and closets. All my clothes that I packed to come home were soggy and wrinkled when I got home.
Third, I had made one little request, to get a room facing the parks so I could see the fireworks, which, they had a ton of those, except they put us in a small group of rooms way in the back of the hotel over a swamp and the back roof. Thanks for that.
Forth, We get back to the hotel late, everything is closed, my husband leaves to go get some ice and something to drink. Simple, right? The little room that had the sign saying "vending and ice" was empty, just a hole in the floor. So, he had to go searching. Finally found ice and a snack machine on another floor but no vending machines for soda or water.
Didn't even offer a discount. Extremely disappointed, we are hard working people and don't get to go off on a vacation too often, I just wanted it to be special. So, don't bother going here, find another place.
The room was not serviced efficiently before my stay (lack of appropriate amount of towels and tge latch on the balcony door was not locked), and the room service had a missing item that management had an issue delivering. However, they were quick to apologize once the order had been fixed. The atmosphere is nice. And the pool is fun.
Very good location that is close to the Disney downtown area. It has very large conferences rooms enough to fit over 2000 people. It is an okay hotel in terms of luxury. The pool has a lazy river and a bar. The house keeping is pretty good. The people are very nice and friendly.
The inside decor of the rooms was updated and clean but the walls were paper thin. All of the doors are close to each other so every time someone opens their door it slams inside the hallway. All you hear are doors all night. The interior hallways were a bit run down. The pool was nice and on sight dining was very good. This isn't a place that I'd put on my list of "must go back again".
Rooms were very nice! Hotel convenience store (including some basic breakfast/lunch/dinner food options) was surprisingly good quality, but still resort (expensive) prices. Hotel gym was very good. Enough weight machines for each muscle group, dumbbells up to 50lbs, several types of tredmills, stationary bikes, and elliptical machines. 24-hour access. I have only had minimal interactions with the hotel staff so far.
I was here a few years back prior to renovation and let me tell you Totally different hotel. The renovations are remarkable from the lobby to the pool to the restaurants to the rooms. This is now the best hotel in the Disney Springs resort area. We will definitely be staying here again!
I gave this stay a 4 star rating because the linens on the bed were not clean when we checked into the room. Pulling the covers back, there were many hairs on the sheet. We quickly called the front desk and they sent housekeeping to the room right away to change the bedding. Our check in process went well and the hotel is nice and well maintained. Staff is friendly and courteous. The restaurants are nice and serve a good variety of food. The pool area is a kids dream. They have a large lazy river along with a few pools. They run shuttles every thirty minutes to the area attractions and parks which is a nice perk. I would consider staying at this hotel again in the future.
Room was clean and adequate. Pool looked nice but we didn't have time to check it out. The biggest disappointment was the shuttles to the parks. Our first ride there wasn't terrible but the pickup was a 40 min ride with all the stops. Our second day we waited 50 minutes for a bus that went to Hollywood studios. In that time two separate busses arrived at the hotel that were going to animal kingdom instead. In contrast, universal studios hotels offer shuttles every 15 minutes and I've never had a problem.
Staff is very helpful. Our room (king bed suite) is nice but facing a back alley. Staff tried to find a better view but we would have needed to switch to a queen regular room. We passed, but they did offer it at a discount. So they did try and were very nice about it. If you want a suite with a view get the tower suite. The hotel restaurant is nice and the snack shop is open late so it is very convenient! They have good sandwiches too for breakfast and lunch.
