I would not recommend. The location and the size of the pool are about the only positive feedback I have. The checkin process was time consuming. Never seen so much paper and pens being used at checkin anywhere. Once finally done with that, I was told to go retrieve my parking pass from another spot. Why couldn't the same person give me one? Ended up being sent to the salespeople, gathering all this information about my family. I'm on vacation, I don't need pitched a timeshare. Took me 10 minutes to get him to understand I am not sitting through anything. I assume all rooms are similar in materials, but all but the bedroom floor was tile. Very loud within the room and it seemed to help sound travel from the rooms beside us and above us, especially with hard sole shoes. The bathroom was large, but it was right off the kitchen and provided little privacy. Our room was on the backside and the sound from the pool and fire pits was loud until midnight sometimes.
The room I am in in the 12 bldg is not as nice as I recall yrs ago. I’ve been staying at Westgate town center and summer bay Resort last few years I think they are a better choice. I believe the newer building are nicer but haven’t seen them
Overall I had a good time staying here. The game room was pretty badass. Their pool was cool. And the room was nice. However three things do stand out for the negative. 1) The previous occupants shampoos and conditioners were still in the shower when I arrived. Which lead me to believe that perhaps the shower wasn't cleaned from the previous occupant. 2) On the underside of my comforter there was a large makeup stain. 3) They use really cheap paper towels in the kitchen. The kind that are barley one ply and disintegrate with any water contact.
First of all, I would like to say that the front desk agent 'Chrissy' was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, these building are in desperate need of renovation. The ceilings are very low, the rooms are outdated with obvious signs of age and very small, sugar ants, thin walls, they do not provide shampoo and conditioner (I asked), and an overwhelming constant smell of various cleaning products that they use throughout the entire course of the day. I can appreciate the gesture of cleaning, but it was like walking into a room of bleach and etc. You can tell they use the cheapest labor they could find, and I have a sense that they are doing as little as possible to maintain the buildings to their top efficiency to save cost. It's bare minimum. I will agree that it was a place to stay and it did the job, but it just didn't feel comfortable, and I would not recommend anyone to stay there. I would, however, recommend any of the Disney Resorts if you can afford it, or the Wyndham Resort. It's definitely worth the price, time, and effort. 2 stars for the buildings, 4 stars for the staff.
This is not a four star resort!!! The rooms could use a major upgrade. The staff was very nice, I believe the person that checked us in was Malcolm Moon. He explained everything thing about the resort and even gave helpful information about the local restaurants. The housekeeping staff are very friendly, I passed by a few in the hallway and asked for clean towels and they delivered them right away. We had a room in Bldg 1 on the third floor over looking the pool. Overall this resort was not my taste and I would label it for 3 stars at the most.
They let us do the presentation and bought us lunch like they said but we were invited to come back tomorrow. They said that our debit card would work but when we got to the welcome center, they cancelled our invitation for tomorrow. The reason they did that is we don't have a major credit card. That wasn't right. Do not buy timeshare from them. Go to Disney or blue green instead.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms were very clean kept well. Beds were comfy with excellent TV's and cable service (high definition) Kitchens were equipped with just enough to make simple meals if needed. We stayed on the top floor of building #5 so the water pressure was lacking a little but by no means a problem. Staff was excellent and check in was a breeze. The multiple pools and hot tubs was neat. I highly recommend it.
This place is amazing. My only complaint is that they need more sound proofing. Can hear children running around all night on the floor above me. Can hear chairs being dragged around.
Enclosed balcony has a great view.
We have the A and C room combination. A has a full kitchen and C has a hot plate instead of an oven. Rooms are same size and different colors.
Stayed at Building 12, Elevator broken during my 1 week stay. Housekeeping never show up on the day were supposed to. No WiFi signal. Front desk did not answer when calling from my room. Rooms need remodeling. Sofa bed very uncomfortable. Not enough parking spaces. If you go to Disney, there is no parking when you come back.
Resort is located in Good Location.
We stayed here back around June 26, 2015. We had to have one large room and then we had a room with a full size bed, small kitchen and living room while our room had a great bathroom with walk in shower plus a tub off from the bedroom. The kitchen was great so we all come over to our room and cooked our breakfast. It was large enough for every one to sit down and eat and get everything cleaned up. My only problem is in this day of having steam cleaners and great sweepers they need to sweep and steam mopped the floor, steam the drapes, furniture, bathroom floors could stand some to real good cleaning. Even though the cleaning could be better the place was very nice, employees were friendly and helpful. Would I come back or tell my friends about it YES!!!!! PLUS IT'S CLOSE TO ALL THE PARKS.
Loved it! If for what ever reason someone has a problem with this place they simply need to have their head examined.. It's quite simply beautiful inside the rooms and on the grounds. The staff are so nice and very helpful. The rooms are kept clean and up to date. We can't wait to go back and this time we're bringing family!!!
Amazing vacation spot with everything you could ever need! The rooms are spacious, luxurious, and clean. The staff is helpful, friendly, and considerate. The location has several pools and daily activities to keep you entertained. There is also a liquor store and restaurants within walking distance, and a Publix grocery store right across the street. Very convenient and 5-10 minute drive to Disney. Our favorite place to stay in Kissimmee!
Vacation Village at Parkway is a great place to stay for a summer vacation for families or larger groups. The suites are divided into two rooms: Room A and Room B. On the lower floors, one room is drastically larger than the other and the furniture is older. On the upper floors, there are newly renovated rooms with equally spacious and large rooms -- these are better furnished and less used.
