I guess you get what you pay for! We expected a $40 room to be old and dirty, but within a couple of hours, a strong smell of paint thinner or similar toxic chemicals took over our room. We thought it would go away, but it only got stronger to the point of getting nauseous and bringing on headaches. Turns out, they were resurfacing the bathtubs, which if you research involves some seriously toxic chemicals. The entire building should have been blocked off and unavailable to bookings. The manager up front said a refund was not an option (which we we're going to dispute at a higher level), but she offered us to switch to their (nicer) tower rooms for free. We inspected then before agreeing and most importantly, they had not been resurfacing the bathtubs so no chance of getting poisoned. This upgrade is the only reason we accepted our continued stay here and I didn't leave this as a 1 star review. Management should really protect the customers from toxic chemicals affecting their health.

Not real sure how to rate at moment. I reserved, and paid for in full, my room online. Drove all night across 3 states arrive at hotel a little after 7am, and have no room to check in too. Check in time is not until 4pm. Asked the person at the front desk if they can call me if something becomes available earlier, and was looked at as if I was crazy. I was told that they can not do that. So I get to sit outside in my car until they can get a room cleaned and ready sometime around 4pm. If i had realized checknin time was so late i would have gone to a different hotel. I did go into the lobby to use the restroom. The facilities were not the cleanest at that time and had a musty with a hint of waste smell in the air.

It's a basic hotel, but clean and beds are comfortable. We stayed in the older section. There is no safe in the rooms there but there is at the reception if needed. Very convenient location for Disney parks. Basic but more than sufficient. We'll be coming back in 5-6 months time.

There is definitely a moisture issue at this hotel. You can smell the mildew and mustiness. We were initially in the back part of the hotel (the motel part) and on that first night my son's asthma kicked into overtime. We asked to be moved so our son could breathe, and they were going to give us a room 1 floor above us in the same building. They then reluctantly told me that we could move to the tower but that it would be an upgrade fee. We did move to the "tower" and it was an improvement, but there are still moisture and mildew issues. The upgrade fee was nominal, but really? They should have apologized and upgraded out of common decency.
On the upside, the heated pool is great and the proximity to various attractions was very nice.response / report this review -

So this is just our Second night on the property and so far everything has been wonderful! We're just a young couple taking our two little ones to Disney for the first time. I don't really understand any of the bad reviews because they don't seem very fair. And I hope people read my review that will be staying here because I was nervous after reading some reviews and I have completely disagree with them. Everyone seems so friendly! House keeping did an awesome job! And the best part is we can see the fire works from Disney in our Hotel room! I was even able to check in early! So with that being said please give this hotel a shot you don't be disappointed and thank you to the receptionist who put us in such a great room with a magical view my kiddos have been so excited!

Hotel is fine. The outside doesn't look too appealing but the rooms inside are actually nice. Two large beds, and other basics. They had a small fridge which I really appreciated. Parking was easy to find and never an issue. The only thing I didn't like was the bath tub drain that you had to manually hold down to drain the water. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like that or not. I didn't check out the pool or anything myself, but it seemed like people enjoyed going there.

The staff was great! Our room's air conditioning wasn't working so they quickly moved us to a different room. The shuttle was nice but only ran a couple times a day so it wasn't very flexible. Overall we had a good stay.

We are local and stayed here during Hurricane Irma, the staff was very friendly and attentive to all of our needs, they understood our fear. The price was excellent, it's pet friendly and they have two restaurants and a bar. I loved the covered outdoor area! The room was a bit dated but clean. They were able to serve us a buffet breakfast the morning after while running on a generator. They kept us well informed on what to expect during and after the storm. We were super pleased with the place and will go again anytime we need a local place !! Great job to all the staff !!

Dirty, smelled weird in the rooms and bathroom smelled of mildewed clothes. The echo is awful if you find yourself on one of the outside rooms on the inside of the area with the pool. People are always smoking and being loud even at 3am. Beds are super lumpy and uncomfortable. The upside is a mini fridge in room, there is a small diner inside that serves buffet style for breakfast and lunch and sit down style restaurant for dinner. The pool was decent enough. No elevators in the big part(middle of building inside on second floor) so hauling your luggage up and down is a nightmare. Construction going on right across from the parking lot. You would want to look into other places before choosing this one. Not worth the price they charged. Won't be staying again unless it were a lot more reasonable for price and what you get.

This hotel doesn't care its customers, and what's even worse is that the manager is super aggressive, and he shows no respects for his customers. I was staying in Room 237, but it was totally a mess, horrible experience that I never experienced(I have been traveling across the country). There are cobweb on the ceiling, which are right above the bead head. Dusts all over the lamp that's near the TV. The entry door can be closed, but it cannot be closed completely. Faucet tap is not functioning well. The worst part is I saw an insect that looks like a cockroach on the bedside table. I was trying to catch it, but it went away quickly. It was at 12:45am on June 1st. It's just horrible and horrible, I really can't stand it.

Friendly staff and spacious rooms. We only slept here really so wasn't in most of the time.
The pool is lovely and clear (not heated) shuts at 10pm and no lifeguard on duty.
Staff are lovely and the cleaners are brilliant.
My son was ill during our stay and nothing was to much for them. A great help thank you to all the staff.
Safes are located in reception an seperate room which was fantastic.response / report this review -

This is definitely a cheap and dated motel. The carpet was filthy as only a carpet that's 20 years old can be. The counters weren't wiped down either and there's a musty smell. We got the room free with points and were only there for a night so it was fine. I would not recommend spending your vacation here. Front desk staff was fabulous though.

I stayed in room 230 and I have to say this was the worst place i have ever stayed in in my life.
Start off with the fridge raider froze everything that you put in a solid. Maintenance came and supposedly fixed it only made it worse.
Toilet was clogged when we entered the room and had not been cleaned.
There was a used condom wrapped up in a tissue on the floor behind the nightstand.
The towels provided had holes in them.
Room in general was not very clean.
I would not recommend staying here yes the price was extremely affordable for six days in Florida. Just would've been nice to have a clean room with working equipment would never stay in a Ramada ever again and don't let their pictures for you the restaurants food was not all that great either.
The salmon was overcooked in the noodles and the shrimp scampi were undercooked the rest of the food we did have was goodresponse / report this review
