The hotel is very nice and the pool is awesome at the resort. I was there with a large loud work function and the upstairs is tough to hold a couple hundred people since it gets very loud. The food that was catered was also very good. I think if you had a function around 100 people it would be great.

The location was great. It was near many restaurants and close to stores. The rooms were very clean and extremely comfortable. The pool and hot tub had a great atmosphere and was landscaped very nicely. The service was pretty good overall. Staff generally always said hello when passed and were generally friendly.

This hotel has very nice and clean rooms. They have all amenities and a snack bar for your convenience. Continental breakfast is not included but it is offered by when you book your room at additional cost. The staff was all very helpful and friendly. I had a great experience at this hotel and would visit again!

My first night so far is good. The front desk staff provided excellent service. The furniture is out dated and needs to be upgraded. The online pictures of this suite are a bit deceiving. Holiday Inn & The Doubletree suites have way better furniturešŸ‘€. However the suite has nice space and the outside area is nice. This will not be my 1st choice of booking in the future visits.

Perfect place for family vacation. Giant pool in the center of a circle shaped suite hotel. I had the 2 bedroom suite with kitchenette. This is a modern hotel next to Celebration. The famous golf course is just a minute drive away. Bars and restaurants very close. Grocery store close. The rooms with balcony. Great hangout location for 3 or 4 days Orlando craziness.

Was this helpful? Or even funny? GivešŸ‘

2 adults and 2 children in room had asked for bed to be made up for arrival. Not done but ok. Problem was no pillows for sofa bed and no blanket and only 2 towels for 4 people. Called for them 90 minutes later not arrived call again and 20 minutes later gut arrives with only 2 towels. He dies get the rest of the stuff in about another 5 minutes. Next day cleaners take away the extra towels leaving just 2 again. Pool area block paving loose trip hazard and easy to catch toes. All white decoration needs to be kept cleaner and continually refreshed if you go with white.just looks a bit grubby. Hard to see the sign for the hotel at the end or the road at night.

We had requested 2 beds but got a room with one bed and a pull out couch. This might have been acceptable if not for the fact that the pullout couch looked like it had been attacked by a pack of wild animals before we pulled it out. The bed part wasn't in great shape either. They brought up a rollaway bed but it didn't really pass muster either. So the three of us got cozy in the one bed. Not great but also not the worst thing ever. Also, the hot tub wasn't working, which was really disappointing - I'd been looking forward to a soak after traveling all day.

This review is actually a little different than what I intended. In a world of hidden fees, it was refreshing to find a resort that stated clearly no surprises or hidden fees as you're booking your room. It was a nice place and intake was very nice. The property was hit by hurricane Irma but was still in decent shape. I was happy to find a nice place near Orlando that I could bring my family. All of that changed at check out. I noticed that there was, in fact, hidden fees. Another almost $50 where there were supposed to be none. When I questioned the person at the desk that I was directed to, she got quite rude telling me that "it is what it is, should have read the fine print, have a nice day". When I mentioned again that the website clearly stated that there were no surprises she held up her hand and said "sorry, have a nice day" and dismissed me. At that point I realized that I wasn't going to get anywhere with this and left. Just a guy tired from hurricane stuff that wanted a good place to take my family. Sad.

Clean and comfortable. The one restaurant is good. But limited. Other food choices are within walking distance. Did not rent a car as there are shuttles and public transportation to every where you want to go

In the process of booking our reception here, and oh my gosh! AMAZING. Most gorgeous reception area, and the cleanest, roomiest rooms!!! Crystal has been the absolute sweetest, most helpful person! She has made sure this entire process has been so stress-free and luxurious. I will be booking all future events here! Thank you Crystal for doing such an amazing job!

I have been coming to this wonderful place every year for almost 3 years. This is such a special place, it feels just like visiting family. The service could not be better. The garden and pool are wonderful. I will be visiting again this March. can't wait!

I will describe my experience by listing facts:

    1. We arrived 2 hours after check in and sat for another 30 while we waited for our room to be finished.

    2. Once in the room we waited another hour for our luggage to be brought to the room, after being told three times the bellhop was on his way, before my girlfriend got tired of waiting and got it from the lobby herself where she saw him chilling outside.

    3. We got the cheapest room they offered. It has no fridge or microwave, it was one dresser, two night stands, desk, 1 chair, a tv and a bed.

4a. The bathroom is nice. Though the shower has poor water pressure.

4b. Room service didn't give us fresh towels outback second day here.

    5. The pool and pool deck are beautiful, 100% my favorite thing about this place.

    6. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Both from the hotel and the bistro (which has great food)

    7. All in all the outside of this place looks like a 4-star hotel but the room feels empty, cheap, and basic and we were severely underwhelmed.

Every experience is unique, this was just ours.

The hotel is so nice and very low key. It has a nice room. A lot of amenities, a beautiful pool and great location. I enjoy the tranquil nature of it as it is in a city with so many hotels and tourism

Great hotel with great staff in a superb location. We've stayed there twice, most recently in March 2017. Very clean, large suites and great facilities. The pool area is one of the best of any hotel I've stayed at and there's a bar service which isn't at all pushy (unlike some hotels). Food is also great. There's a shuttle to the major theme parks and they'll also drop and pickup if you want to venture into Celebration (which you definitely should). We'll definitely return to the Melia next time we visit Orlando.

This hotel is a Disney Good Neighbor, and it clearly is set up to cater to families visiting the nearby theme parks. It has an abundance of suites. Apparently so abundant that they put me in a two-bedroom suite even though I was traveling by myself for business. The hotel feels old. The carpets are worn and stained. In my room, there were rips. The paint needed touch ups. The furniture had stains. In short, if it were refurbished and repaired, it would be a really nice hotel, but those factors made it less than ideal. I can't recommend it.
