CMV UPDATE: All main roads to the resort are currently open. Please use the main entrance off of Coon Bluff Road to enter property. The back gate entrance off of Lyndon Road will be closed for an indefinite amount of time.

Many roads around Christmas Mountain are flooded or impassible. If you need to get to the resort, County Hwy P is open from the Lake Delton side (Near Walmart). Take CoHwy P to Coon Bluff Road to the main resort entrance.

I am an owner and traded time to spend with family at the resort. There wasn't enough parking at the cottages for more than a single vehicle and had to walk quite a ways to find some. Also the golf course, which is said to be a championship course, although pretty, the greens were a mess not to mention the majority of the red tee boxes were atrocious! Wasn't worth the $35/person special pricing for staying on property. Disappointed and probably will just stay some place else next time.

This was our second time staying in the townhouses. The property is great, with many fun amenities, and the flowers are stunning! However, I can’t highly rate it due to the lack of housekeeping standards. We were there for a family reunion and so had 5 units— 2 entire buildings and one half. All the ceiling fans were filthy, and in ours we found dirty dishes in the cupboard, the bathroom smelled musty even when running the vent fan continuously, and don’t move any furniture (even the ottoman) unless you want to find surprises—sunglasses under a couch and a charger piece under the ottoman along with dust and debris.) Our front steps could really use a power wash, also.It’s really too bad the standards aren’t higher—this resort is so nice otherwise.

Played in an annual tournament yesterday and The Oaks course was in the worst condition I've ever seen it in. Very disappointing. Tee boxes were nothing but sand and weeds, fairways patchy and brown, greens were patchy and some were chopped up with sod in place that was dead. Played with a group of guys that this was their home course and they were embarrassed. Apparently they acquired a new Groundskeeper last season, but it doesn't seem like anyone really checked his resume before hiring him. If our Groundskeeper at my home course had done a shotty job like thishe'd be gone. At my home course, Koshkonong Mounds C.C. (just outside of Fort Atkinson, WI), we strive for the "Wow" factor. We have brand new carts with GPS and have made tons of upgrades to our facility and the course. If you want a great course to play, I highly recommend Koshkonong Mounds C.C. Until Christmas Mountain Village can get their act together, don't waste your money.

So just because they are not “bed bugs” per se, does not mean I want to share my bed and shower with bloody critters. I won’t rant in detail about all the issues. But suffice it to say we didn’t get settled into a semi-bug free room until 4 a.m.

Maybe skip #ChristmasMountainResort unless you want bed buggies. Luckily we had fun going out before the infestation! They never said sorry, or seemed to care. The security guy at 4 a.m. was nice. But we were exhausted from carrying our wet clothes (they gave us a room to wash but it was infested so we carried those around all night) and there were no sorries.

Soooo disappointed.

The accomodations were fine (Deluxe Timbers), but other problems caused us to not enjoy the vacations as we had intended. First, buying tickets for Mt. Olympis through them was a real rip off. They (Blue Green) own Mt.Olympis and what they fail to tell you is that parking is $20 per car (we had two), a locker at the indoor waterpark is $10, the directions for parking are terrible, and the majority of the park personnel are clueless!

At Christmas Mt itself, we wanted to take the grandkids fishing at their lake. NO BAIT, on a Friday morning! Grandkids were crying! Paddleboats--- forget it, they either were nonfunctional or were full of water from rain two days earlier. When I advised the individual in charge of the boats that they were full of water, her snotty response was "there is such a thing as rain!" Very inappropriate for a young girl to talk to a 71 year old paying guest like that!

Our experience with timeshares (we are currently paying over $5,000 to get out of ours) is that they talk a great game, but once they have your money, good luck with trying to get a specific property when you want, and if you are successful, be prepared to be disappointed in many other ways. Why do you think there are so many businesses that do nothing but facilitate getting rid of them???

We were here for the week with a group of 32 total people. We had four of the deluxe timbers and we loved everything about it. The location was perfect, there were 17 kids and 15 adults and we all had a wonderful time. The woman who checked us in (Katie) was wonderful in getting our units as close as possible and with a family that large, she was super accommodating. We have been Bluegreen silver owners for almost 20 years and have been to many of the resorts, and come to Christmas Mountian a few times a year. Looking forward to the next visit!

People were nice. cottages not so much!

Rugs not cleaned/vacuumed.

Bed broken down, sheets/bedding stained - 2nd set was ripped, didn’t try our luck with 3rd set

Dirty/clogged showers and curtains, air vents filthy, dishes dirty and kitchen floors sticky. Cob webs in the corners and paint peeling on deck. Just didn’t have a clean feel to the place.

This was our check this place out visit and if that’s how upkeep is done I would spend my money elsewhere.

We've stayed this time in the Villas in the Oaks, after moving from the pines. There were several issues at the Pines Villas so requested the move. The Oaks are more secluded and less crowded. The villa was OK, nothing to get excited about and the area is nice. We went to Kalahari water park, less crowded and seemed to be less "hood" like environment the Mount Olympus is, not sure about Noahs ark but have been told the same. This will be the last time going to Bluegreen locations in the Dells. To see family we'll get a motel near Madison.

Despite the rains we were able to play the Oaks front nine and the Pines. The Osks were in great shape. The Pines were in someone rough shape from the winter but certainly did not deter from our golf. The experience from check in on the club house to our cart being wiped down from the moisture and to the final putt was great. Highly recommend the Course as this was our first time on the Oaks. Cannot wait to play the back at the Oaks.

Here now and it's been about three years since I last been, it was a decent place put not 4hrs in and the Wi-Fi don't connect, the living room tv shuts off randomly and the air conditioning has barely brought the temp down 4°. Maintenance came to check the tv and so fare it's been 2 hours and I'm suppose to get a t.v. from a different unit, can't wait to see how this goes!!! UPDATE.. Maintenance came to "fix" it again and not a hour later it started shutting off again so now I try to call and the cottage phone don't work either so no front room tv, no phone and the WiFi network can't get connection even though I have full bars. Call the front desk just to get a attitude!!!! This place went down hill quick.

If there ever is a problem (need more coffee, loud neighbors, or a slow drain), just call the front desk and it's taken care of. My parent brought me when I was little, and I grew up with summers here. Now my son is, and it's awesome.

I have been a Bluegreen owner now for 2 years. We have stayed at several resorts but always come to Christmas Mountain for kids spring break and we always bring a very large group. We have had our share of small issues but nothing compared to renting hotel rooms. The staff has always been so friendly and treat us like family. I have recommended bluegreen to many friends and to show them how lovely it is I bring them on vacation to prove it.

our deluxe cottage was dirty when we got in it. The bedding was dirty, the kitchen and bathroom. Also nothing was stocked in kitchen or bathroom. Dirty sheets on the bed , dirty towels folded in the bathroom, and the shower wasn't cleaned. Complained to multiple people and no one cared they just said sorry and brought us new sheets I had to go get my own cleaning supplies to clean the cottage. Very disappointed!

Soooooo let me get this straightthis weekend the locals get to partake in free lift tickets or half price tubing but we are Bluegreen silver members and we were charged full price for tubing , lift tickets and skiing? And there was only half the hills open?! What the heck are we paying for? I wish someone would have advised me of this when I booked the vacation. Also, the bathrooms were a disappointment to say the least. I mean no shower for two adjoining rooms? That was weird. I had to go downstairs to use my guests shower if I wanted to take one (which by the way, was the size of a postcard stamp). We had several footprints in the snow by our cabin and people constantly walking by and trying to look in. That was weird. I couldn’t understand what most of the staff at the ski slopes was saying because of thick and heavy accents. The couches and chairs were stained. However, we enjoyed the fireplace (which we had to buy wood for). The grill was unusable. The prices to ski were steep in comparison. Nothing was in walking distance from our villa. It wasn’t the best place I’ve stayed with Bluegreen to say the least.

We are Bluegreen Silver members and I can say that if I was looking at Bluegreen ownership, after our stay here, we would NOT purchase.

We had multiple issues upon check-in: dirty kitchen (that I cleaned), stained furniture, dirty/stained bed linens, a piece falling off the front of the fireplace, dirty windows with cobwebs in them, a tub that wouldn’t drain, and a dryer that takes HOURS to dry clothes. Also, there were parking issues, flooded sidewalks that the grounds crew didn’t address after reporting them, and lots of footprints around and behind our cabin.

Also, we attempted to use the indoor pool area THREE times during our stay. Each time the water was freezing and dirty. And, the restrooms in the pool area were filthy.

Three times we dressed in snow gear to go tubing before finally hitting the hill. The hills were not open at the times provided by the front desk.

We have stayed at no less than 10 other Bluegreen resorts and this particular one is sub-par.

This stay was a HUGE disappointment and we won’t return.

Modern/rustic. Log cabins in the woods. Jennair BBQ on covered and screened rear deck. If you need a crockpot, call the deskLargest “WaterPark/Slide” area in the world. Very commercial, however, there is so much else to discover. There are Wisconsin wines, beer, cheeses, scenic views, hospitality and plain friendliness. Love it.

I like this resort, but the area is mostly outdoor activities and for families with kids. The staff were very accommodating as they first put us in a cabin that was supposed to be for handicapped, after one night there, we were moved to a much larger and more handicapped accessible cabin. They did charge us for cleaning the first cabin though. Be sure you are getting what you ask for before you spend the first night.

We had won a package deal from Christmas mountain. It was won in Janesville at the mall. They called us to make an appointment for us to come and take a tour. When we arrived they had us register.. to take a 2 hour showing.. we had an emergency phone call and had to leave.. they made us give back the package deal we had won!! We do not believe that was right!! We had already won the package deal. So another words, if you do not take there 2 hour tour.. they make you return anything you won!! Bad business!! �

Always a great time at Christmas Mountain! Came up for the Winter Carnival this year and they didn't disappoint. A great time was had by all and you can't beat sitting in the hot tub with snow falling and watching fireworks. We have been coming up here for 20+ Years and have watched our children grow up here and have had so many memories with family. It is my "Happy Place" for a reason!
