When we arrived we were amazed at the place. It looks awesome. The check-in process was lengthy, especially since we have a 13-month-old who was cooped up in the car for 2 hours. The wrist bands have the room keys in them, so no worrying about losing your key, which I loved. I have enough to worry about. We arrived at check-in time and had, upon booking the room, requested a pack 'n play with a diaper genie. When we got to our room, there was no pack 'n play or diaper genie. I called the front desk and they said they would send one down. I also requested an additional chair for our daughter's booster seat. They came and brought the pack 'n play with trundle bed sheets and the chair, but not diaper genie. I called again thinking it was a mistake with the sheets. They came back with the diaper genie and full size sheets. I was irritated at this point so my husband went to the front desk and they informed him that they do not have pack 'n play sheets, which when I booked our room I specifically asked if they did as I had some at home I was willing to bring with. So please bring your own sheets if you have an infant or toddler.
The water park kids area water was freezing cold. Our daughter was shivering within the first 5 minutes and it was her first water park experience so I was unhappy at first. We ended up going into the indoor wave pool, which was very nice and warm. She really enjoyed that. The lazy river is extremely small and freezing cold. There is an "activity pool" with two lily pads the kids can play on and two basket ball hoops. That was nice. Also there is a "hot springs" which is not hot enough to be called a hot tub and you can bring your kids into. There is a separate one for the adults which is hot.
The arcade is amazing! If you go here you must try the arcade. We had a blast, and we helped our daughter play the piano. Ended up winning 1000 tickets on accident.
The restaurants are good, pricey, but good. The hotel staff is more worried about themselves and their own duties than the customers at times.

This is our second time at great Wolf! The first time, two years ago, we need a new room because it smelled like smoke. This time, we needed a new room because it smelled musty. They were quick to get us a new room both times. We wish the water park opened earlier than 10 as our kids are up at the crack of dawn and are ready for naps by noon. The water park is clean with lots of stuff for kids of all ages. We stayed two nights and still felt like there was enough to do for a day or two more without getting bored. We wish the kids pools were as warm as the wave pool. My boys were shivering. The food and drinks are great and the lifeguards do an amazing job being on alert to make sure everyone is safe! We'll be coming back year after year.

The pool area was great. We stayed in a condo, was told we had to wait until 4 because they were cleaning, okay I can take that. But our room really was not clean. Leftover slippers, leftover ball. in areas that really should have been cleaned. They do have activities for the kids, which is nice. Oh and if you like coffee in the morning bring your own coffee maker, for the condo we stayed in, there was only enough for maybe two people.

Location was easy to access from the interstate. We stayed 4 nights and never had to go beyond line of sight from the resort. Our day was basically swim all day, and do the arcade in the evening. It was a lot of fun for my 2 and 4 year old. My main complaint would be that the shower/tub water flow was very low. I highly recommend getting the souvenir drink cup for the free refills throughout your stay.

I have a soon-to-be 3 year old and an almost 7 year old. We have been to other water parks in the Dells, but this one is, in my opinion, the best for the age group we have. My almost 3 year old could go down all but one slide BY HERSELF, as long as i was waiting at the bottom. The life guards are ON POINT, constantly moving, checking, and having routine drills that ensure they are doing the superb job they are supposed to do. The amenities are alright for what we paid. I mean, the room is decent. Has what we need. There are some other rooms though, with bunk beds, that look amazing! Next time, for sure!

We will definitely be going back there.

Did an early check in the day of. When we arrived, the room wasn't ready and had no choice but to wait an additional 1.5 hours. When we got the room, there were a few candy wrappers around the room and a tacky/sticky kids toy stuck to the floor. There was also left over food in the mini fridge. And hour and a half to wait for them to have the room ready and it wasn't completely cleaned.
The staff were wonderful. Indoor pool area was greatcould've been staffed a bit better so all the water rides could function at the same time. Overall, it was decent.but, I guess I expected better from a hotel costing close to $300 a night.
Update: the next morning my son's shoes and shirt were STOLEN from the pool area. No help from staff regarding security cameras. This place is something elsesmh
Spend your money on one of the other resorts in Wisconsin Dells.

I thought the room was too cold because I was dressed business casual with a sweater and still needed a jacket. The room is okay but the toilet didn't like the flush. It would take the second flush in order for it to work. The water park was fun however it closed at 8 p.m.. I don't know if this was because of construction or why it closed so early. I thought it was supposed to stay open until 10. The hotel staff in the water park staff for super nice.

We went for an overnight with our 8 and 10 year old children. The indoor water park is small, and two of the larger slides were closed. The other tube/racing mat slides alternated being open. This left very little for kids my age to do. The lazy river is a joke it's so tiny. The Halloween trick or treat trail was sad. Four little games that we waited 30 minutes to play for a Tootsie roll and gummy bears. The water park closed at 8:00 pm which is ridiculous. The only reason I gave it a few stars is the prices at the restaurants were reasonable and the room seemed clean, however we won't be back.

Our children have loved every aspect of the trip to the great Wolf Lodge. We visited at the end of summer so some of the facilities are showing the wear of the busy season. A few suggestions if you're thinking about visiting: Bring a drying rack, one of those multi-clip things that hang from a curtain rod. The swimsuit spinners around the pools we're in various states of disrepair and there isn't too much room to hang up wet swim wear for a family with kids. If eating breakfast at the lodge grill get there early. It means the food gets to you much quicker and is overall higher quality than if you go later in the morning. The ambassadors of fun are great. Our kids loved the shows and activities each morning and evening. There's no need to bring your own life jackets for the kids, plenty available by the pool area. But we did and it makes things a little easier. The pizza place is a good option for dinner but gets busy and had about a 30 minute wait time for one pizza. Plan accordingly. Overall a great stay with a few inconveniences.

Great family friendly resort. It's not as big a Kalahari but it's a great place to go if you have smaller kids or just to change it up. The rooms are fantastic and clean as well as the bathrooms in the water park. Great outside bar in the outside water park with healthy food options (you can still get all the first stuff in the inside food stand in the indoor water park if that's your thing). We love it and plan to come back. Only grip is they never give enough coffee or refilled the coffee bar area in the room.

We booked a condominium and had an amazing time! The booking process took a little long but after that the service was great! We could check in online to have our room ready! Check out was also online. Love the wave pool there! The slides are fine but the best one is the tornado! Overall great experience!

Fun and family friendly! It's nice to be able to go from the water park straight to your room to clean up. Lots of other activities to do besides playing in the water park. Good location that is near other attractions and restaurants. On site restaurants are decent if you want to stay on site

Came for a couple nights, and enjoyed all of it. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool and other activities were great for my kids (under 4). Can't wait to come back.

The size of the room and the amenities were excellent. Usually hotel rooms are a tight fit but we had plenty of room to walk around, had a king size bed that was VERY comfortable and a pullout couch and large, spacious bathroom. Checkout was simple. They sent me an email in which I clicked "Check Out" and then put in our room number and we were done. The key cards for the room were pretty awesome. It's built into your waterproof wristband, so we never had to worry about losing cards. It was always on our wrist. Super easy and very convenient!

Great family water park! It has something for all ages. To many different water slides to count (the Tornado is unbelievable!!), wave pool, lazy river, huge tree house, toddler pools and play areas, adult and children's hot tubs, all of this is in just the inside part of the park. Then you go outside and start all over again. Plus there are other things to do like the arcade, kids yoga, adult and children's spas, and more. Multiple restaurants to choose from. The place is very clean and well maintained. The staff is attentive and available if you need them. Our hotel room slept 5 people comfortably. The food is above average. Overall a very good experience. Everything you need is all in one location. We are planning on visiting some of their other Lodges.
