Receptionist welcomed my as a gold member and I received 2 drink coupons at the bar. When I checked into my room they had left a nice bottle of wine as a thank you for being a rewards member. Really nice touch. Breakfast was quite good in the club level as well as the ground floor restaurant. Slightly older hotel but very nice and comfortable.

Positive: This is a nice place to stay. Staff is nice and helpful. Came in from a long drive with 2 kids(18,13), found it easy to make ourselves at home. Room was clean!!!, but had musty smell from filter being to dirty, told staff and within minutes they had it fixed. I'm so picky because family was in this line of work.
Negative: Parking cost (no matter what Priceline says), coffee filters do not fit coffee pots in room witch resulted in a small burn, common areas needed more attention, the hot tub could of been a little cleaner, and honestly/maybe harshly room shouldn't of smelt that way.

There is a swimming pool with tables that you can order food from the restaurant. The shop is good for snacks and drinks like beers and wines. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is not the best as there is not much to do within walking distance. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Housekeeping barged into our room when it was clearly occupied an hour after we checked in they did not knock or announce their presence. When we complained all we got was free breakfast.

Due to this, we lost all trust in the housekeeping staff so we put a valuable item and one of the dresser drawers to keep it out of their sight. When we checked out we left it behind. We paid the hotel to overnight it back to us and it took two days to get it. Overall, we were highly dissatisfied with our experience at this hotel. Only two stars because they appeared to be apologetic.

For the price, it's a great hotel. Clean rooms and facilities. Club lounge is acceptable but can get noisy if there are hordes of children running. Pool area is quite spacious and drinks at the bar are reasonably priced. Bathrooms are dated but well maintained. Consistent experience as compared with other Sheraton's

Worst hotel experience. Don't stay here! Our car along with other vehicles were broken into. My back glass was smashed and items were stolen from my vehicle in their so cslled secured lot that they charge $18 a night to park in because you have no other option. They were horrible. Would not give us police or incident report. Wouldn't even offer to refund our parking fee. One week after we returned home we received a letter from their management company claiming no responsibility and that they werent even sure if it happened there. Well it did and all the broken glass all over your parking lot might be a clue. Besides the front desk attendant told us their so called security guard reported it. Now they have just pissed me off. If you value customer service and your personal belongings stay somewhere else. Best believe after this letter they sent to me, I will make sure to tell everyone not to stay here.

Clean room and comfortable bed. Down side was our room was facing the I8 highway and the noise was constant. Good food at the hotel restaurant with outstanding service. Snack bar had a malfunctioning Starbucks coffee machine.

No major complaints or wows. Location is good and staff was friendly. I had a room at the end of a hall by a laundry machine which seemed like a nice offering. My two minor gripes was the laundry machine running throughout the night (slept at midnight and it was still going) and the toilet also making noise every 15 minutes or so Nothing major just a little weird and mildy annoying. If I stay here again I'll ask for a room in the middle of the hall. (NOTE: parking is $18)

**** Update -- I've been meaning to update my review. I've stayed here a few more times (my company likes to book me here), and haven't had any issues since. Staff is still friendly and the rooms are still nice and clean.

Hotel was decent and clean, no major complaints, short drive to major attractions, across freeway from major dining and shopping. I didn't use the bar or restaurant, but another guest told me he thought I'd was pretty good. Nice pool area to relax with shaded tables even if you don't want to swim (good for families). Front desk staff were very courteous. The Go Green program is a nice way to earn points if you don't need constant room service (sheets, towels, etc.).

The location is excellent. We are staying in a junior suite. The staff has been extremely helpful. I ask to move to another room because the AC wasn't working. The remote for the TV needed batteries and they replaced those immediately. The aesthetics of the rooms have been updated nicely but HVAC system clearly needs updated. The executive lounge provided a nice breakfast and free drinks and bottled water anytime. I enjoyed the service but would probably stay at the Hilton next door on my next visit.

The staff is very friendly. I feel that is the only positive. The beds are the main complaint, they are rock hard. The staff mentioned they are recently new, but I find that hard to believe. The pillows are super soft which gives you no neck support. They did offer firmer pillow which was nice, but sleeping on a mattress of rocks offers no true rest. The AC system in the room is weak, the room itself needs a remodeling and the bathroom is a little small / out dated. This is not the quality I expect out of a Sheraton. It's rated 4 stars, but I think it's barely touching 3 stars. When I'm on vacation my ability to get a good night's rest is most important to me and this hotel does not offer that. I've been at a motel 6 due to traveling emergencies, the bed reminded me of that. The hot bar and food was okay too.

First off, my check-in experience was horrible. I had requested an early check-in of 10am, which is of course best effort. When I arrived at the hotel, the clerk at the front desk didn't ask for my name or my reservation number, but simply said in an oddly unwelcoming tone "It's a little early for us, try after 1." After (very politely) pressing a bit, she took the name on our reservation and found out that we were in fact 100 night platinum guests, and suddenly she did have a room available, albiet on a low floor facing the freeway. I opted to wait for a nicer room at 1pm. I came back at 1pm to check in, and there was still no room. At this point I was "checked in" but was asked to come back in an hour to get my keys as my room had not been cleaned yet. I came back again at 3:00 (normal check in) and was asked to take a seat. At 4:00 someone came and re checked me in to a different room, as they still hadn't managed to clean mine. This was a surreal experience as someone who is very loyal to the Sheraton brand. There were a number of other odd experiences as well - I inquired at one point if we could be moved to a room with a single bed, and the clerk at that time told me that it was not possible because the hotel was fully booked. I checked online and saw plenty of availability in every class of room. Lying to my face leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Overall, the hotel is nice. Just don't expect a 'Sheraton' level of customer service. Next time I'll be trying the Four Points!

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the cheapest rates around

This hotel is top to bottom 5 STAR. Their motto should just be, your wish is our command. From the minute you turn onto the drive up to the hotel, you can feel that it is one special place. The grounds are gorgeous, the rooms are huge and incredibly comfortable and the staff are the best in the hospitality industry. From the front desk to housekeeping-amazing. Attention to detail is spot on. The beds are so comfortable and THOSE ROBES make you wish you could lounge in them all day, super soft and cozy.
I would tell anyone, especially those of you out there that just love a GREAT hotel, this is the perfect place to spend some time. There is so much good to say, I could go on and on but I'll end with this. I'm a corporate travel agent that books high end hotels around the world, daily. This hotel meets every criteria my clients look for and expect.

I spent 6 nights. Good room, breakfast and evening complimentary snacks saved me from spending $ for several meals. Nearby mall within a 10 minute walk offering quality shopping and good but chain type restaurants. Nice pool and hut tub. Would be very good in summer. Within a 15 minute drive from Ocean and Mission beach.
