It's cool. It's right next to the airport and they have a free shuttle. Staff was nice, house keeping was fine. Breakfast isn't free, it was in the lounge connected to the hotel and was decent. Its located in the middle of Downtown and Uptown. So Uber rides to anywhere worth seeing is only ever like 8-15 dollars and about 10-15 minutes away. Check it out if your looking for a quick stay at a cheap price.
Missed flight..err.. Such a relief to be taken care of by the wonderful staff and facility here; from booking room, to speedy shuttle, to cozy relaxing bar/restaurant, to comfy room and bed. Turned a stressful situation into a pleasurable evening. Really wasn't looking forward to the Chicago snow anyway :-).
Definitely an airport hotel as you can hear the airplanes constantly. I didn't have a problem with the noise but, if you are sensitive, you should look somewhere else.
The on-site restaurant was cozy as well.
Chose this motel for price and location near the airport. It's a bit older but clean. Some carpet stains. Beds comfortable and staff friendly. Great restaurant and lounge. I'd stay again.
We enjoyed our stay, the hotel looks clean and well maintained. We could not hear the airplanes during the night as the other reviews warned and a pair of earplugs was provided if necessary. We did not use them. The customer service was great and shuttle service to the airport were excellent. The hotel has a pool and a jacuzzi. The only surprise was not receiving water bottles and snack upon checking at a Best-western Plus and not having a full breakfast room, some snacks were provided. We had to order the breakfast from the Roadhouse restaurant. We were advised upon check-in that there was not full breakfast provided and that we can order it from the Roadhouse Restaurant that was located in the plaza.
This is an awesome hotel. No negatives with the exception of no Continental breakfast. But breakfast at the restaurant attached to the hotel is good and reasonably priced. Comfortable beds, great pool/hot-tub, and excellent A/C.
This hotel was not fancy but clean and very comfortable. The staff was not only friendly but very accommodating with shuttle service and area information. If I were looking for a place near the airport again, this would be somewhere I would certainly consider.
10 stars for basic airport stay to catch an early am flight. Seemed like a safe place to park car while out of town for a few days. Really nice people and staff was helpful and on point. Shuttle was perfect and fast. I like to make sure I tip these employees well, cuz they deserve it. I sadly see many people not tipping even one dollar. I used to be in service industry and know how hard everyone works.
Nice appearance both inside and outside of the Hotel. Room was inviting with extra attention given. Miscommunication somewhere on what I needed as they thought I had pets both checking in and out and I did not. Improvements needed on Customer Service with a smile and a welcome, glad you came to Best Western.
At first I was skeptical of renting a room at this hotel, but was pleasantly surprised after we got to the hotel and unpacked. The airplane noise wasn't even that bad when we had the A/C on. The room was clean and spacious and convenient. Would definitely stay here again!
We stayed at this hotel following a late-night arrival in Phoenix. Price was right, room was clean and quiet, and the bed was excellent. Wish we could have stayed a couple more hours to use the pool!
They have a shuttle that will pick you up at the airport. Upon calling the hotel, the woman gave us excellent directions to meet the shuttle. That was nice considering that we were unfamiliar with the airport. Both shuttle drivers - at night and in the morning were pleasant and professional. Will we stay there again? Definitely!
Please tell your front desk customer service representative, Nancy, to lose her arrogant attitude. After traveling for over 14 hours the last thing I wanted to deal with while checking in was difficulty using my company credit card. However, that was not Nancy's fault of course. To try and rectify the situation I inquired about using my new company card number available through the bank representative via my phone. I understand this is an unusual request and so understood completely that Nancy wanted to verify with another associate that this was okay to do. Upon getting the ok to do so, the attitude of severe inconvenience started. Even though getting the transaction approved took less than literally three minutes, this clearly was a problem for Nancy. Some advice Nancy: 1.) do not speak to people like they are a child (when they're actually 41) 2.) do not spit back "well, the card hasn't gone through yet" when the guest is just asking a simple question and most important 3.) if you cannot muster up a slight smile, some positive attitude and some eye contact do not work in customer service. It's never to late to make a career change but it is too late to retain me as a repeat guest.
Hotel is very convenient to Airport in Phoenix. Shuttle service is efficient and take only a few minutes. Restaurant and lounge in hotel is excellent and has hours to accommodate travellers. Hotel offers facilities to allow printing of documents required for travel. Lobby is spacious and comfortable. I would stay next time I am flying to or from Phoenix
First time staying here. Very good impressions, the lobby is nice, the shuttle runs 24 hrs. The room I got was big, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Even though the hotel is right by the freeway and the airport, noise inside the room wasn't bad, and there were earplugs provided with the bathroom amenities.
Plenty of accessible power outlets for charging things. Bath & Body Works soaps (yes!!!). One of those fancy anti-germ remote controls.
Room was spotless, fitness room clean and well maintained. Excellent restaurant (Rodehouse) on the premises with long hours- very convenient. Staff was very attentive. All amenities in room, fitness room, and lobby (computer/printer/scanner) worked. Internet activity was quick. High value overall. I did use earplugs because the hotel is close to the airport, but there was no noise between midnight and 5 am anyway. It was much less expensive to stay here and take a transportation service downtown than to stay in a conference hotel- and some of those were farther away than the Best Western anyway.
