This was my first time staying at one of the aloft hotels, and we had a great experience. They have streamlined and modernized the hotel experience in a great way.

We came with a toddler and a young child, and they set us up in a handicap accessible room with a crib and a sealed sheet/blanket. I was impressed with the level of accessibility in the bathroom, seemed very well planned with a walk-in shower (no lip on the floor to step over).

The general style was very colorful and modern, with curves on the walls and streamlined light fixtures, etc. Things like the closet, fridge, and lockbox were there, but minimized to what most people need.

Bar downstairs was trendy in the open area with a pool table and outside patio. Breakfast was quick and simple with our vouchers for a few continental style options, we asked the front desk because it wasn't totally clear what we could help ourselves to. Extra cost for hot sandwiches made to order was well worth it if that's your thing, they were delicious.

Staff was helpful, welcoming, and genuinely fun to talk to.

Good hotel. A bit too modernish for my taste but I'd stay there again. Don't stay in the room at the end of the hall on the second floor. It's sits above a generator or something. The floor actually vibrates. I had to switch rooms

I really like this hotel. It's very modern and clean, and the staff are awesome. They're not too uptight, and they go above and beyond for their guests.

Perfect location. Great and spacious rooms at an amazing price. The location is the most convenient right at the end of the light rail shuttle from inside the airport. It's a little secret that not too many people know about it, not even Phoenix residents; the light rail shuttle directly from inside the terminals brings you directly to the Aloft Hotel. When I have a flight very early in the morning, I spend the night at the Aloft Airport and take the light rail to my terminals in less than 10 minutes at most. Be careful at night though and don't walk alone in the surroundings.

Doesn't live up to the website listing.

This hotel is listed as dog friendly, with dog beds and treats. During check-in, they said they were out of dog beds, but would check for dog treats; they never got back to us.

The room had a heavy glade plug-in smell that flared up my allergies. Unfortunately, all the rooms have that smell, so there was no point in switching rooms.

Walls are thin. We could hear the TV on next door, or across the hall.

Beds are comfy. Shower was a bit low pressure, but worked just fine. Sink and toilet were squeaky clean. WiFi was fast enough to check work emails and view google maps.

It the front counter had checked back with us and the room didn't punish my olfactory senses, they would have received a better rating.

Lovely hotel, clean and bright. Conveniently located by the rail. Friendly staff and very good customer service. It was somewhat of a hassle to take my dog through the lobby whenever he had to go out though. I usually prefer a side entrance as to not disturb other guests, but this didn't prove to be an issue. The pool area during my stay was never that crowded either.

Had a great stay! The layout of the room definitely screamed contemporary and , probably the most important part, clean. It was extremely helpful that Amazon Now was available at this location. My items came within an hour and didn't have to deal with the hassle of finding a store nearby. The breakfast area on the ground floor was great. I had the wrap with egg white bacon a pesto and all the hot stuff is cooked to order.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The shuttle was prompt. Rooms are comfy and clean, although some things are run down. It's mostly just scrapes on the wall, nothing that really affects anything. I'm taking a star off because it is pretty noisy in the evenings. The bar downstairs often has live music which drifts into the rooms, but it always seems to end before 9pm. Overall, it's a good value for the amount of money you're paying.

Hotel allowed a large group of obnoxious guests to make loud engine noises, play music at full blast, consume liquor in public, and drive recklessly through the parking lot until 2:00am. Neither the front desk nor hotel security would do so much as ask the group to keep it quiet. They insisted that as paid guests they had the right to make as much noise as they wanted, no matter how much it disturbed other patrons at the hotel or in the adjacent neighborhood. A call to Phoenix PD at 2:30 eventually got the group to quiet down, but they resumed again at 6:30. Avoid this place. Unless you want a place where you can get drunk in public, drive recklessly, and blast music until 2:00 am knowing that management won't do anything about it. If that's what you want, this is probably a great place for you to stay.

I've stayed in hotels domestic and international. I prefer Aloft for domestic stays, and the experience varies greatly despite the hotels being consistent in appearance and price. Nancy was the desk agent at this location and she absolutely rocked the customer service. We were new to the area. She mad small talk and made us feel so comfortable. Being a

4 stars seems a bit high but I'm grading this one for an 'airport hotel' specifically and in that category it gets high marks. The lobby is so hip and cute with a bar, rooms were comfy and well designed for small space. Nice bathrooms. Front desk staff very helpful, free shuttle went smoothly. However, WTF is with the parking lot? It was SO confusing to try and find when are in a car. You have to pull into this little weird complex that doesn't seem like you should be turning there to access the parking and there are like NO signs. We circled the block 3 times which was so annoying because the blocks are LONG here. Not an issue if you only use the shuttle but something to be aware of. They need some signs.
