I had extensive reconstruction surgeries 5+ times, The staff at Del Webb had cared for me on multiple occasions and I had the honor to get to know these Doctors and nurses, just a great bunch of individuals that have a true compassion for the people they are caring for. Never a want and if needed, it was a push of the button away. I was in extreme pain, and the staff helped to keep me very comfortable, despite the situation. Thanks again.F.Y.I I have MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY.

I don't understand these other reviews because this hospital and the staff in the Critical Care Unit have been nothing less than phenomenal. To the nurses there (Sadaf, Rick and Kristen most of all) THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO. My grandmother has been in the ICU for the past week and has received the best care from everyone. I wish I knew the physicians names on her case but I've met so many doctors and nurses, it has been so hard for me to remember them all. Thank you all for taking such wonderful care of my grandmother, answering any and all questions (and we've had a lot) everyone in our family has had and for your professional and compassionate bed side manner. I feel at ease with this hospital taking care of her.

Let me start by sayingDO NOT USE THE MOM365 PHOTOGRAPHER WHEN YOU HAVE A BABY HERE!!!!!!! They will come to your room either the day of or morning after you have a baby and you feel bad and do the photo shoot because it's what all new parents do ("don't worry", they say, "you don't have to buy anything"), rightWRONG! The photo quality is horrible and the pricing is insane! They charged me $90 for a 5 photo flip book. I bought it thinking it would be cheap and whatever, she swiped my card and I looked at the bill too late. (no new mom thinks straight). They did no retouching at all! The pics look like something I would do with a digital camera from the 2000s. I highly doubt the photographer was even a professionally trained one. You are better off having your hubby do a photoshoot with his iphone and a blanket you bring with you.

I am giving 5 stars because I had my baby here, the stay was amazing, food was surprisingly great and the nurses were so attentive and caring. I felt very taken care of and safe.

I give 4 stars because of the volunteers. They are great. Have been there several times including the ER. After some waiting in ER, I was examined and underwent imaging and other tests and promptly treated. Good folk.

Let me say this much. I have been to this hospital a few times. Even had one of my surgeries there. However, my treatment today was absolutely TERRIBLE! I should have known right away when a PA came in. Her attitude was horrible! I was given that, there is nothing wrong attitude right away! I was there because something like an alien had stuck out of my stomach. I explained that it hurt like HELL to sit. So what did they do? They moved me to the sitting area of the back ER! To wait for test results, when they had not even done any tests! I was supposed to sit and wait to take the contrast for the CT! So that would have been up to 3hrs sitting. And when you are in as much pain as I was in. That is a long time, so I told them. I can't sit up it hurts. Well the choice was go home and lay down. And hope it gets better, or sit there in severe pain for god knows how long! This hospital has really gone down hill! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! You will probably get better treatment at an inner city hospital!

My father is currently In this facility and so far I am very disappointed!! He is 80 and has Parkinson's disease. He was admitted yesterday and when my Mom and I came this morning he said he had not had anything to eat. When I asked the nurse I was told they have to order their meal.. my father is so confused he can't manage this. I was furious that he had not eaten since the day before so I ordered him some lunch which came an hour later. Okthen he gets admitted and moved to another room and everyone was fantasticso I felt much better about this situation so I ordered dinner and breakfast for him and we left at around 4:00pm.. my father calls my mom at 8:30 and says he's hungry and thirsty.. so I call the floor and they say he just
Needs to say something.my father is so confused he doesn't understand any of this. I'm very disappointedI would like to say that his nurses have been very kind to him I would've just wished that something as basic as food and something to drink would be addressed in a better way

Worst hospital ever!! I hate going there unfortunately my Dr. Works out of this hospital. I am a frequent flyer due to a lot of medical issues. I went Tuesday in so much pain, the triage nurses were RUDE!! They look at every person as a drug addict. I left and went to Boswell. They were amazing. Dr. Jones was so nice. Very awesome bed side manners. I think it's hot and miss with these 2 hospitals or banner. Sun health was so caring. I agree about even working for Del Webb. I have so many friends that refuse to go there. Maryvale is better then Del Webb!!!

Pulled up to the ER door and ran in an told security that I needed help getting my boyfriend out of the car, he was screaming in pain. The security person stood there staring at me and said "how did you get him in the car?" I said "now tell me what difference does that make, I cant get him out because he is in so much pain." Finally he got someone to come out and help. The triage nurses were no better. Extremely rude to both me and him. I do have say that once out of the triage and waiting room area the PA and the nurse back in the treatment area were wonderful and could not do enough.

Have been to that ER before and it was nice and clean an professional. It is not like that now.. The black security box and the check in desk with the homemade signs looks really ghetto.

If you think over 12 hours in ER is ok you should come to this hospital. If you think that getting moved to a room, at 4:00 a.m. When you arrived at the hospital around 2:00 pm the day before and being awake for 36 hours because of their inefficiency is ok, this is your kind of place. Then once you get to sleep, they wake you about 3:30 a.m. To tell you to get out of your room cause you're not sick enough to be in "that room", then come here to this hospital. And I don't remember getting to choose which room I went into. I'm pretty sure they assigned my room to me so not sure why I was put in that room. If you think getting up at 3:30 a.m. To pack up your stuff to move to another room when you can Barely walk. this is your kind of place. So that's not the worst (or best depending on your likes) then they cruise in at6:00 p.m. To tell me I have to move again because I'm not sick enough to be in this room. Two blown IV's and two nurses with multiple gouging of my veins to find a place to put a new IV, and being told the current IV line that is leaking meds, bleeding and the bandage is falling off has to stay in case of an emergency sounds like fun to you, come to Del Webb Hospital in surprise AZ. They have all this down pat. And they really don't care about you at all. Very sad. I didn't want to come here but my doctor sent me here but rest assured I'll never stay here again. OMG!!! I haven't been this upset in a very very long time. Horrible experience and shame on the management of this hospital. As a patient you don't matter. What matters here is that the right peg is in the right hole whether it makes sense or not. Patient BEWARE unless being unimportant, just a number, a pin cushion for inexperienced staff, and moved around at their will no matter the impact to the patient is how you like to be treated. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND NO ONE HERE REALLY CARES.

Gave birth here. It has been some time, but still hate what they did. They denied I was in labor and left me in a room with several beds hooked up to a monitor. They did not call my doctor, still believing I was not in labor. When they finally conceded I was in labor, they rushed me into a room and held me down on my back. I was having major back contractions, but they were concerned with me being flat on my back, as soon as I tried adjusting myself to lessen the pain, they immediately moved in and several nurses held me down. They kept telling me they could not give me an epidural, but I kept reminding them I did not want one. They started badgering me afterward, wanting to push pain meds on me, which I would not have been in so much pain had they not held me down. I had done 2 births without pain meds before and this hospital was the worst yet. So much for them being baby and labor friendly. I explained that my daughter was to be with my husband or me at all times, but the nurses kept trying to take the baby and not let my husband or me along. If we do have another baby, I refuse to deliver here. Better in the car or at home than with awful staff.

I had my first surgery here and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. They knew I was nervous and went above and beyond to make me comfortable and let me know what we were doing, step by step. My nurse Sarah was so sweet and comforting, never left my side. My anesthesiologist, Kendra, was kind and made me laugh and assured me everything was going to be alright. Dr. Ballesteros was wonderful and has called me multiple times to follow up with me and see how my recovery is going. I would recommend this hospital to all friends and family.

Saw a pa. He didn't do an exam. Ordered labs and IV sent me home with no directions other then to see Dr if symptoms continued. Had already had issue for 5 day. How is is supposed to resolve with no treatment. Guess what. It hasn't resolved and can't be seen by regular Dr for 4 day. So it's off to another er.

This is my sons second visit coming in, coma, very critical. Both time I found the nurses extremely helpful pleasant and calm. The doctors were always available to answer our questions. Last time I was a crazy mother and a bit loud and obnoxious. Yet the nurses always smiled and tried to help. Very calming. We are out of state and will be at the hospital shortly. The doctors and nurses have kept us update timely. I think Banner is excellent.
