If you have an emergency and need. Immediate attention, you will die before u get to see anyone for treatment. I highly recommend not coming here. Employees at the front emergency desk have no care in the world.

Been here 8 hours so far. They barely done anything. Their bill racking test are taking hours. Been here since 5:45 pm its now 1:45 am. This is ridiculousness all of its own. Nurses just hang out and talk instead of tending to patients.I was given a dirty look by one nurse when i mentioned being here for 8 hours. Good thing the sun doesnt come up till almost 7 am now I just may get out of here before dawn.

What began with a simple error, that appeared to be an easy fix with a phone call, has now become a complete mess. If ever you have a problem, expect to be ignored entirely. After months of messages, waiting, written letter, phone calls, etc., I was finally fowarded to the Director himself. Do you know how he handled the situation? He just hung up on me like a child. I am shocked about the complete lack of professionalism from the bottom all the way to the top of this facility. I would never trust these people with my health or follow through again. VERY poor all around. BEWARE

I want to thank all of the Labor and Delivery nurses who were there during my stay. Christina, Mary Alice, Mary, there were a couple more that I don't remember the names but just everyone did such an amazing job I get teared up when I talk about it. From the moment I came in until the time I left 3 days later they were all so kind, caring, compassionate, attentive and patient with my super low pain tolerance. I delivered my beautiful baby girl on halloween night and although my doctor didn't make it in time the nurse acted like she had done it a million times. She never pressured me she sat there and stayed extremely quiet while letting me and my body do the work on its own command. It was peaceful, relaxing, I wasn't stressed at all- I couldn't thank them enough. My experience here was above and beyond anything I could have ever expected. I wish I could take those nurses everywhere with me for all future births that's how lovely they were. Thank you so much again to all of you.

Nurses, staff, doctors all of them are idiots. Their excuse is they couldn't find the antibiotics for a patient who had a BLOOD INFECTION! And was just left there for 2 1/2 hours with no iv for antibiotics. Also went into a room that was "just cleaned" and even saw the cleaning staff person leave the room and as soon as I walk in. I see blood on the covers of the hospital bed. Seriously. Called a nurse to get me a new blanket and it took an HOUR good job morons. Be on the look out for a call from an attorney very soon. 👍also nurse names patty. Needs to be fired. Doesn't do her job and just yells at patients.

This place was horrible. I went in for surgery and during my stay I had 2 episodes of spasms so intense that I could not breathe. I had pushed the call button 3 times bit could not talk but only groan in pain for 45 min I tried to get someone to help me but my nurse was busy. Luckily I had my phone and texted my friend to come help me. The second time my daughter mother and grandma were visiting. My mom in her car and grandmother and daughter in my room when the attack started again I pushed the button repeatedly my grandmother ran to the hallway to get help and my daughter screaming and crying no one came. my grandmother called my mom trying to tell her what was happening and she wasn't able to tell her anything but get up here fast Jessica needs help. My mom made it across the parkinglot to my room on the 3rd floor to check on me and still had to go get a damn nurse. The staff should be competent enough to make sure everyone is OK. They need to be closed down practically a mortuary.
I take the last comment back mortuaries treat people better.

Love the cafeteria! Great staff and good food!
Martha Favila is my Mom and she works for nutritional services. She might be a sweetheart but she takes her job seriously. She's a hard worker and makes sure she gives 100% to her co workers, hospital staff and medical staff. Don't forget to check out the gift shop! Love Glenda and all the cute things they have💜you don't need to be a patient to enjoy some good food and a little shopping☺️*no one asked me to write this review. just saying

I delivered my second child at MVMC last month and had a fabulous experience. Prior to delivery I was sent to L&D triage a few times. It was great because I hardly had to wait and I wasn't there long considering the amount of testing that had to be done. I had quite a few nurses during my stay their and they were wonderful. Tamara, Karen, Sandy, Becky & Mary THANK YOU! Now the food is eh okay but the quality of care I received was beyond phenomenal.

I recently had to take my husband in to the er with chest pains. Dr. Amish Shah took care of him and we were so pleased with his wonderful demeanor. He made my husband feel very relaxed and was caring, informative and jovial. We were so impressed with him as well as the rest of the staff we dealt with. Everyone was friendly and the service was efficient and fast. Things happened when they said they would, which is very unusual for an ER in our experience. I wanted to thank Dr. Shah and his team for making the experience as positive as possible. He is a true asset and deserves to be recognized. Thank you for your time.

I wouldn't take my cat to Mt Vista even with an open window on the first floor.
My bed had a giant hole where your seat lies.
I had to use the bedside commode and the gal did not empty it. I came back from a colonoscopy and the commode was still not emptied!
The doctor, while I was only in for the colon work, did an endoscope on me, leaving my compromised vocal cords absolutely worse. I should sue this place and Dr. K.

For a terrifying experience while touring. The emergency workers and hospital staff were very concerned and carrying in regards to my mothers well being.

My Mother (82) was brought in by the ambulance while we were out touring. The rescure workers were wonderful, caring and explained exactly what and why they were doing their thing.
The Ambulance attendents were great with explaining and verifying what had happened. Also with answering any of my concerns.

The emergency dept and 3rd floor staff were informing, caring and made me feel like my mom was in great hands. So I could relax.
When it was time for her to be released they came and explained everything to us and even gave us printed information on everything. This to me is going above and beyond.

I would like to Thank all the staff for the great experience, for the bad experience on what my Mother went through that day.

    Keep up the great work.

    From Winnipeg Canada

I completely understand the 1 star ratings. I was there 5 years ago after a fall and split my chin open and received stiches. Now 5 years later I'm still dealing with their incompetent billing department even after several conference calls between them and my insurance company in which we all agreed I didn't owe the bill their staff just never applied the payment from the insurance company. This was 6 months ago and today I get a collections notice. 5 years and they still can't get it straight I guess I'll spend another hour of my life in the phone with them!!!
