So far I have no complaints. Everyone here has been more than helpful and made sure my fathers needs were met. Its very clean and the food given is well perportioned and fits every patients needs. The staff here care about there patients and go the extra mile to keep everyone satisfied. I would give 5 stars but 5 stars is perfect and there is no such thing. There is always room for improvement in every perfession.
The ER put several patients in rooms before me. I was waiting 3 hours. The nurses never checked on me to see if my condition worsened. The ER Staff at Abrazo hospital are cold hearted and desensitized when it comes to comforting and aiding patients. The was a lady there limping they didn’t give her a wheel chair. They made her walk. During the 3 hours that I was there no one came to sanitize the lobby and there was a lady there with the chicken pox. If you want to be treated well by kind and considerate nurse staff do not go to this Abrazo hospital’s ER.
Thank you to the birthing staff on 10/26/17 - 10/27/17. Latasha helped my daughter so much through the night! She stayed an extra hour to make sure everything was ok with my granddaughter Luna and daughter Samantha! Things got a little tough there for mother and baby but the nurse made sure both were safe! Thanks so much! You are the best and will never be forgotten!!!!!!!
Had my daughter here in March of 2017 my first baby. I had a great experience except at first the nurse in the labor and delivery triage took a painful drug test for no reason and didn't give me no information just left me there while I was having painful contractions I was scared and had so many questions until later another took me into the delivery room. She was awesome my plan was not to have any pain medication and she was very supportive she and a couple of other nurses delivered my baby my labor was so fast the doctor didn't make it. After getting clean up and going into my new room all the nurses were amazing I love this hospital and will continue to have my future kids here thank you Dr. Bujak best ob
One star is too much for this review! I am in and out of the ER often with my dad, as he has an extensive medical history. Went in with him because he had really bad back pain, after he was given pain medication he started feeling abdominal pain and numbness. We asked for the nurse and she took her time to get to us, walked in and asked if he was feeling pain, said “okay” and walked out. 10 minuets later she comes back.. we asked about the abdominal pain and she repeats what the doctor had explained about the lab results, we asked again about the abdominal pain that kept getting worse and she walks out of the room before we are done asking her questions. Doctor comes back 20 minutes later and asks about the pain, he repeats that the lab results were negative and there’s nothing wrong, we asked again about the abdominal pain and the doctor gets irritated and straight out asked “what do you want me to do?” Clearly we wouldn’t be consulting with a doctor if we knew what to do about the pain. This hospital needs to do a better job at screening their staff and better training on how to be professional and have manners.
Dr Howard was wonderful. Nurses attentive, great meal selection, Leaving here today. All in all great experience. Thank you to the staff at Abrazo West Hospital!
I have been here a few times with my mother. The emergency department staff has always been great! They have been attentive, caring and dedicated to finding out what's wrong. We have also experienced the surgery department for day surgery and they have also been great! It's great that they keep you updated with what's going on with your loved one. My mother has been admitted a couple times and the nurses and staff in the regular part of the hospital have been pretty good but could use some improvement.
This place is horrible. The doctors won't even come see. They send the nurse to come check you out. I come in because my face is burning and the nurse is having me push on her hands step on her toes. Is this a joke. She comes back to tell me I need to see a specialist. I just wasted 3 hours of my life to get a response I got off google in the first place. Insurance companies really need to check them out because they are charging people for doing nothing at all.
I delivered my baby here and did not have a good experience from the moment i walked inside. My labor was going very quickly and when i came in there was no wheel chairs. The person at the desk had to call several times for someone to bring me up to labor and delivery but no one came. After waiting long enough she finally ended up taking me herself. The nurses ended up delivering my baby because of how fast my labor was and there was no doctor there. I could not see but my fiance says the nurse used her nails to try to pull my babies head out. My baby has a permanent scar on her head. Then the next day they took my baby out of my room without informing me, while i was asleep. I was very upset and frightened of course when I woke up with my baby gone. I did not want my baby to ever leave the room without me or my fiance present which we had already stated.
My name is first name Shidana. Thank you for response.
My mother is currently in this hospital and if I could move her I would. The worst care I've ever experienced. She has MS and can't really do anything for herself. They have failed to bring her medication when she needs it, change her colostomy bag and seal it correctly, and they dropped off her meal expecting her to feed herself when it is noted she had to be fed. Soon, I will have the local news covering the hospital and looking into their mortality rate, ER, response times, etc. to compare to other area hospitals.
Wow! We did online check in and enjoyed the best ER experience we have ever had. I know the word enjoyed sounds "wrong" for the ER, but it was the word of choice for this visit. The doctor was quick, knowledgeable and helpful. The entire process.tests, procedures and services were expedited in such a timely fashion that I was stunned. I truly am grateful for such a smooth, efficient process at such a sensitive time.
Made an ER visit and i was treated very well. The staff was courteous and the wait was not long for an ER visit. Although the root of my pain could not be resolved at this visit the ER team made me comfortable and was thorough with blood work up ,CT scan and urine exam. So I can rule out any major issues. Thank you Abrazo Team. I will follow up with my primary on my GB.
I visited the ER for my infant son who was diagnosed with RSV. All of the staff I encountered were incredibly friendly and welcomed my questions. Dr. Hess was incredible and explained everything going on and put me at ease. Butch, who did my son's breathing treatment, was incredibly kind and efficient. I had a great experience and was in and out in less than 2 hours.
No one gave me a patient number when my spouse was admitted. Without that number I had no way of knowing what his status was that is posted on a screen. When I tried to obtain info there were no volunteers or employees to answer questions. No instructions in the surgery area where to get that info. When I found someone over by another entrance she disappeared again to get me the answer and then started helping someone else with billing questions that walked in about 5 minutes after myself and cornered her where she went to get my answer. SHE was offended that I was not impressed with her choice. They need to set up better signs and tools to help. They had one small sign where a group of people were standing and visiting. The number in the surgery area was supposedly hiding behind a magazine.
