This hotel is a much better value than the Hilton next door. Free parking ($20 at the Hilton) breakfast, free coffee, cookies come included. Nice rooms. And I always look forward to a friendly welcome from Nita at the front desk.

Our overall experience at the American Inn of Bethesda was good. We stayed in a very small room which was not numbered. Their parking lot is small but if you find a spot it's really convenient. Breakfast is also included, so that's good. Generally a solid experience!

Virginia is an awesome manager and has a great front office team. Two minutes walk from Bethesda metro station and loads of places to eat. Great prices.

Had everything you need.. Free WiFi and free breakfast that was great! .. And good price! Walking distance to metro as well.. And right next to a great Mexican restaurant

Great location for NIH visits or business conferences in the Bethesda, Rockville and Washington, DC area. Metro accessible. Continental breakfast is decent. Staff friendly and helpful.

Great place to stay with great front desk service and all workers! Coffee is always ready!!! Majorly convenient to all and nice people all around. The kids loves the pool!

Room was up to date, but very small Quite tight. Small deck, hardly fit my laptop, wifi was decent. Biggest problem was the parking. Almost no parking at hotel itself have to cross the street to park in parking lot. Also bathrooms could use a little updating, toilet reminded me of a school bathroom.

Front desk was helpful although I had to go upstairs to my room with two suitcases. Room was clean and tidy and spacious. Bathroom again clean and roomy. Shower was powerful.

Nice room at a fair price. Walk to Metro is reasonable. Plenty of good eats close by. We arrived by train way early for check in and the manager did us a solid and found us a room on the spot. Everyone has been super nice to us.

Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking is VERY limited. Rooms are clean, but somewhat outdated. Fitness facility is located across the parking lot from the main hotel, which is a concern if one doesn't want to cross a dimly lit parking to go back to the hotel at night. The complementary breakfast is relatively good, but pretty much the same thing every morning.

It is close proximity to restaurants and the metro system.
