This past week was my second time camping there this year. I highly recommend this campground. We took canoes out on the creek, and it was so very peaceful and relaxing. I camped with my grandson and the Halloween activities and treat or treating are delightful. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. My sister, daughter and I went to the haunted house and it was definitely a "haunt", very scary. We are going back in two weeks and I can't wait.
Nice and quiet A little ways off highway but not far. Great gift shop
This is by far the best KOA we have seen while crossing the country. The owners are super nice. We recommend staying here. You will have a ton of fun. They have tons of crafts for kids or adults and are willing to do it whenever you want.
Clean and tidy. Lots of stuff for kids and adults to do. Yeah I painted a peacock, wanna fight about it?
I would come back here or recommend it to anyone. Staff is top notch.
Nice campground. You will need extension cord for 50-amp in the upgraded sites as power pole (and water) is far back. Access is challenging for longer motorhpmes. Some trees need trimming. Nice restaurant on-site. The pool is NOT heated but ideally located for using a solar heater. We would definitely stay here again.
We are so pleased to have discovered this KOA! The owners and staff are so friendly. The location is on a creek with beautiful landscaping. You can see how well maintained the campground is. Bathhouse is very clean and modern. There is a diner on site, a craft house, and a flock of chickens, goats and some baby lambs. Great playground for kids. Truly a gem of a campground. Will make this one of our go-to spots to camp.
Always a great time. The staff treat you like family and there is always something appealing. My wife is a camera buff, I'm a fly fisherman and we enjoy canoeing together. The sites and cabins are great (each site with a fire ring), the facilities are always clean, areconstantly being updated and the staff
goes the extra mile. The Past Time Cafe has an outstanding breakfast.
Both my Wife and I recommend it.
This place is great. A cozy little spot nestled in a back country road. The water and scenery make it very peaceful. They have a nice area for the kids to play too.
We were walk-ins and staff was very friendly, gave us a nice site at the creek, helped us backing in, and the firewood was already delivered. Loved to goats too!
Always a wonderful place to be. I don't even live far but I love it! Very accommodating, loving people. We have tent, cabin and camper camped there.
First I got to share this, if you scroll thru the reviews you'll come upon a young mans opinion who's name is Miles. Read this review and just imagine how lonely young Miles must be.
We LOVE this place, it's a campground, not a museum. They do a wonderful job having lot's to do for EVERYONE. And the diner is absolutely a hidden little jem of a restaurant. There were some infant aged sheep and goats in the petting zoo area, which our 1 year old adored. The staff was extremely accommodating, and did ALL they could to make our visit a memorable one. Sorry Miles, I DON'T agree with your big brain review. Now go meet some girls and stop all that hatred off campgrounds.
